Love your show. My husband & I tape it on the DVR every day and watch it at night. You are so funny. I'm so sorry you can't dance, but if it makes you feel any better, my back went out 11 days ago and everyone asked me what I did and I had to say "I sat on the couch and got up and then I couldnt stand up". How embarrasing. I would have liked to have a great story too. Glad your doing better, but I feel bad for you. It takes me a muscle relaxer , pain pill and steriod shot some days to roll out of bed. ! Anyway, just wanted to tell you how much we laughed when you called Mall of America. I think you should give Oprah a guest spot on your show as a Christmas gift.. and be sure to show her your People magazine most intriguing people.. LOL Have a great weekend and take care of that back.. My husband is realy for my back pain to be over .. hes doing everything for me. Thank Goodness I dont have a talk show or he'd be hosting for me! haha..

Good morning, Ellen ~

I watch your show every day and LOVE it. Even on my worst days, you bring a smile to my face. This has not been a great year for me. I have been hospitalized 3 times since May, 2009 (vaginal cancer surgery, ankle reconstruction and a kidney bacterial infection that landed me in the emergency room 2 times and in the hospital for 7 days).

My dog Chloe, a 3 year old rottie -mix, was taken from me while I was in the hospital and put in a shelter (without my knowledge). She was gone for over a month until a dear friend saw her at the shelter where she volunteers. What are the chances? Chloe and I have been back together ever since.

Right before Thanksgiving I found out that my vaginal cancer has returned. After having a hysterectomy at 33 yrs old, I thought all of that was behind me. Boy was I wrong!

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of people who don't have jobs, homes, insurance, etc. I am very lucky and have all of those. I, like others, have downsized selling my house and moved into a 1 bedroom apartment to make ends meet.

I guess all of this brings me to say "THANK YOU". You have helped me through some hard times through laughter, and I know you will be there again. As they say, laughter is the best medicine!
