Ellen,
You are the most interesting and giving person we've ever seen. My husband and I are from Oregon. Employment in Oregon has been hit hard for a very long time, so when my husband heard about a job here in Texas (he is a journeyman electrician), we packed all we could in our small car and headed out with faith and hope of getting out of debt and making a new start. It was difficult leaving our family behind, especially my boys, their wives and wife to be and most of all (I will admit) the greatest grandkids ever. Life is a journey and we have had more than our share, but we keep on the journey. After being here just a short time, my husband was injured on the job. It's a long story, but he now has a long arm cast for a fractured (R)elbow and will be having surgery on his fractured (R) ankle on Dec. 3rd. It is very difficult being so... far from home, not knowing anyone and being injured.
One thing we have gotten to do is watch day time TV and have absolutely enjoyed your show. For the guests, the games, the dancing and just all the laughter. Laughter is a great medication that doesn't require a doctor visit or a prescription!
Thanks for it all. We admire you.
Andi & Dennis Cannon
P.S. Don't forget to dance!!!!
