I run a retaurant in Virginia Beach Va. and we were lucky enough to have these kids play one of our parties. The name of the band is Carbon Jam. Look for the videos where she sings joplin!! CRAZY!! I think she's the oldest member of the band at 16. We have them playing at our summer party, (Christmas in July) 7/24/2010, promise to get some more video, or you guys can just come out?

I love all animals. I think it is great how you help support animal rights. I also think it is awesome that you help so many people. Ellen, I think that you are a wonderful caring person. Thank you so very much for all the giving you do. I was so down in my luck at one time, and have gone forward with the "CAN DO" attitude. I have a great job,(in construction) I just finally bought a new car last month, have a nice studio Apartment, great friends. You are such an inspiration to me and others. Your an angel and thank you.

I don't know how to write to you properly, so I am leaving a comment, hoping that you get to read it somehow.
I have a friend who is in such a bad situation that I have wished I were doing better with my shop so that I could help her financially. She & her daughter live with her Dad...not a good situation and I cannot say why. My friend had hip replacement surgery several years ago and the surgeon screwed up, thereby pretty much ruining her life, and after 5 more surgeries, the problem is still not corrected. Do you ever help people in Canada?...'cuz that's where she is (me too)

First of all I would like to say my whole family loves watching your show! you are awesome.
I wanted to share this cute story with you. My daughter Madison who is 5 years old, loves your show and loves you. Her favorite game is Know or Go! she practically jumps out of her own skin with excitement when she watches it.
Well the other day she heard you say that you would be at Madison Square Gardens for New Year's Eve. So I jokingly said, we should go there. Your name is Madison and we get to see Ellen there as well. Well that was a mistake.
I was driving home tonight and I asked Madison if she wanted to go to her Aunt's for New Year's Eve and she said, yes but we have to go to Madison Square Gardens 1st and see Ellen then in the night time we can go see Aunt Patrizia!!!
So needless to say, I have to think of another little white lie to cover up the BIG white lie I told her.

Ellen, I just went on sick leave on Oct.31. My two daughters have two children each. they work from paycheck to paycheck to provide for their beautiful babies. My delima is I play Secert Santa every year so it will be one less problem they have to worrie about. to tell you the truth they would have no Christmas if I would not step up.Don't get me wrong they try but with all the bills they have it just does not work.I will never forget when they were little and all I had for them under the tree one year was a Teddy bear that was donated by a church group because of an abusive relationship I was getting out of . They came in and the looks on their faces were pure disappointment but they told me not to worrie it will be better next year I cried like a baby. I also diciede that day I would never let that happen again. Ihave kept my word until now. I went on unpaid sick do to an accident I had outside of work and have no way to provide for the babies this year. Just want to say you are great. I watch every show and when you give money or help people daily it makes me feel warm all over. I wish there where more poeple like your. Your show is fun and you are the funniest person i would love to see you come to canada and do a show. HI Ellen and staff...just wondering what's going on with the purse finding contest??? With 3 million plus followers it could take years to get to the winner. Wanted to put another plug in to win but all of my answers are on Twitter. The purse ended up in NY, NY Staten Island with Lady Liberty. Sure could use the cash!!! Unemployed since last September. Bummer of a job market!!! Was noticing all the things on facebook and I am not on face book, I'm just on Twitter, hope this doesn't hurt my chance to win!!! Hi Ellen: I was just wondering when I was going to receive my copy of O magazine. I ordered on your site the week before publication and have been billed for it but never received my copy. Why is it taking so long and are other people not getting their's? Please email me with some answer. I have emailed several times and called and left messages and getting no replys. Very disappointed at this time.
