Hello Ellen,

I will start off by saying I answered the 5 questions about u correctlyand I watch your show daily. I was trying to find the registration for the doughvember because I am in need of the dough because I am in a huge debt. I have 40,000 in school loans alone that does not include the other debt.

I graduated form college two weeks ago and my girlfriend asked me what I wanted I said I wanted to go to the Ellen show she just laughed and said that will never happen.... I said maybe 1 day I will be able to come to the show.... Im watchin you know as I write.... An ooh yeah I own the O magazine with you and Oprah and I loved the honest interview you had on Oprah.....

Hopefully I will get to see u soon.... If not I will continue to watch the show..

Dear Ellen.
Please Help!!!First let me tell you that I've been a fan since your commerical w/the dog w/something in it's teeth. It alway made my day.
I was wondering if you had an extra van around the place that you would considering donating to our small church, who do a lot of traveling doing mission work across the states.I know this is brash, but we are really in need if we are going to continue. This church people are so caring, that even when {as a new member}We had to move, on that day I has about 20 there to do the work, what a blessing, then in the process our tv went down,we has the loan of three to use as long as we need,
Our church meets in the elementry school gym, it is our beief that missions come before bldgs.and we do have missionary here and abroad.
Your show is great ,I always start my day with you,I hope you never leave.
love, sylvia Kern, Osceola,Wi.

Dear Ellen, I'M not very savvy at typing, and still learning my computer, but I wanted to ask HUGE FAVOR, My church is a loving, caring church, who believes that missions, here and abroad is more important than a bldg. My pastor has been using his very old van to travel on our mission trips, and I'm worried. This month they are traveling to South Dakota to help with celebrating christmas for american indian children.I pray that God and maybe you could see that they have a safe journey.I know I'm being brash and forward, but I don't know where else to turn.as a new member, we had to move, and on that day there we at least 20 people at my door to help,& when my old tv went south, I had three from them to borrowso you see these people are pretty special.LOve yor show, been a fane since the commercial w/ dog, love, you, slvia

You know I love you Ellen. You are such an inspiration to so many people, but, I have to tell you I was very disappointed in your interview Thursday with the guy that wrote the book on where our food comes from. I don't begrudge you or anyone their views on eating meat, but that was rediculous. To insinuate that all farms are are like that is out right irresponsible and damaging to people's lives. There are thousands of families that do try to live the farm life he had invisioned - farms run by average loving caring families who only want to try to make a living the only way they know how doing what they love. They do love their lives and their livestock and care as much about what goes on your table as you do. Much like the ag business today, it is possible to find holistic, healthy, antibiotic free good beef and poultry just as it is to find organic, pesticide free vegitables. Instead of comdeming a way of life because of the factory farms, why not praise the family farmers and promote their products. They will never be able to compete with the factory farms on a level playing field, and interviews like that turn even more people away from purchasing good healthy alternatives to factory farm raised meet damaging even more family farms across the country.

Hi Ellen, First of all I love your show and especially what you do for people in need. With that said I was appalled with your guest Mr. Foer, he is very misinformed. I live in Montana and I am surrounded by farmers and ranchers. I invite you and your guest to visit and I will take you to any ranch or farm you see, and they will be glad to show you how they feed and care for their cattle, hogs etc. We run around 1200 yearlings for food. The idea that animals see no grass, no sunshine etc. Where is he? I've been to feedlots in Neb. Oh. Tx. to many to mention, and I have never seen anything he was talking about. This spring we were looking for a house in Phoexiz and traveled the whole area. I seen many dairy farms with cattle in a pasture eating grass and standing under sprinklers for their comfort. We work really hard at what we do and are proud we are feeding America. We love our animals and treat them well as they are our paycheck. When you have someone on your show saying things he does not understand and someone hears him and believes him, our market goes down. We need every farmer and rancher. What do you want to do with us? Please become more informed. He was telling everyone to get informed, please send him my way and I will gladly inform him how it really is!!! I would love your answer. Thank you, Connie Lohof, Baker, Mt. 59313

Dear Ellen,
I just wanted to say what a great thing you did for that mom and son. I wish more people would learn from you, because you truly care about others. I love to watch your show because you make me laugh and remember what is important in life. Keep making us laugh and thanks for all you do.
Sharon

I love your show. It is usually so funny. My kind bossmen let me have a TV because everyone is usually gone most of the time and it keeps me company. the only problems are: my back is to it, i have to keep it low, and if they are here not too much commotion (I laugh loud). so anyway, I do enjoy the minutes I see and if I hear laughing, I turn around fast. Keep up the good job. A Fan. Judy

Mariah Carey is a great singer but you are the greatest show host on T.V.

Mariah Carey has a sweet personality, and is extremely gifted so why does she always dress like a hooker? It is so unflattering.

Hi Ellen,

We laugh, dance and heal with you everyday. I take care of a younger brother who's developmentally challenged and he doesn't go a day without watching your show; you're definitely uplifting and therapeutic to us.

We're both big fans of Mariah, she's always fabulous and we would appreciate if you have her again on your show; don't listen to the haters, you don't owe them anything.

Thanks for the wonderful job you do everyday!

I love your show!! You crack me up! The reason I'm writing is I'm from North Dakota. Yes, it is true. You had a show on Wednesday Mariah looked great!! My comment is on Jonathan Sefran? I guess he's done his research? I'm know everybody doesn't eats meat!!! I do, but still. Is this guy for real. Now, I know being where I'm from is a bit exciting. Look at the movie Fargo, enough said!!!!!! We're not idiots. If he wants to see true farmers, come to the very cold and windy state. They may cage there cows behind a 12 acre fence, but that is so they don't kill anybody by running out in front of veicles. I'm pretty sure everybody's produce or meat isn't exactly like he wants to beleive. Not only in my state, but you can find great home grown and home raised all over the U.S. I think he needs to do a little more research, and quit feeding these false assumptions in to the American public. What is our society coming to when everything we grew up on is crap? I just don't want people in this time in America to think everything we were raised with is crap!! I love you're show, and I love you!! I challange you to go to North Dakota, the state nobody dares explore, and realize that we are just as normal as you. I don't expect a respone, that's not why I wrote you, I guess I just wanted to get this off my chest.

OMG! What's with all the haters out there? Regarding Mariah's dress, it was just Mariah being Mariah. She's a fabulous singer, let it go at that, it's just a dress. Regarding Jonathan Safran Foer, GREAT show! Please have more like this. A lot of the previous posts addressed the conditions on the farm, but I can't help to notice that no one went on to address the very act of killing these animals and what they go through. An unnecessary, horrific death, just because some people like the taste. They also didn't address all the negative effects this has on our environment. We all have to be more conscious of how the things we do affect the bigger picture.
Love you and all you do, Ellen. Keep up the good work.

Dear Ellen,

I don't care what people say Mariah looked great and was awesome on your show. I love Mariah Carey. I also love your show and you. Your a great host and comedian. Keep having Mariah on the show and please have her sing again. She is so glamorous.

Hi Ellen!

I love your show so much I can't miss it so I have it schedule to tape on my DVR everyday so I don't miss it. There are times during the night I can not sleep so I know I can turn on the TV and watch a episode I have missed. I'm either laughing or I might be crying. Usually both. I know you touch everyone's heart but you have a big place in my heart.

Today's show was great with Mariah Carey but I felt so sorry for the pain you were in. My Mom was watching your show with me today and she is 86yrs old with Macular Degeneration, she is considered blind but she could tell also something was wrong with you today. We are wishing you well and back on your feet dancing soon. Love ya, BJ

What a unique person you are Ellen. I am an Aussie
who watches your show in North Queensland every chance I get. Sooo wish you would come and do a show here (hint hint). Keep up the good work you do and helping others. Cheers

Hi Ellen, I love your show, it makes me laugh out loud and cry, and both at the same time... i feel like your in my living room and you make the rest of my day, i watch @ 3pm. I was watching Nov. 4 Jonathan Safran, right after eating chicken, i felt sick. I would like to get more information, but really dont have the money to buy books, i been searching online, but its so confusing. i think you should have a show with more information, although today i did get alot of info. but my 3 kids and I are so use to eating meat, I dont know where to start.

Hi, I'm a big fan of your show here in mexico, city. Suddenly after last season ended they stopped transmitting your show. I don't know what happened, I've been waiting for he next seson to start but without any luck. Help. Please do something, my whole family misses watching you every day. Thank you.

Hi Ellen,

I just had to get online and let you know how much you touched my heart for the money you gave away today for Doughvember. My family and I have been through it all over the past few years from unemployment to new babies to almost loosing our house that we worked so hard for and I started to cry when I saw that mother's reaction to getting the money for the house and her son for Christmas. What a Christmas! My husband and I have done dollar store Christmas' before where we go in with $20 and are done with our shopping for everyone by the time we leave and I'm sure that mom has been in that boat too.

I am so glad to see there are people in the world who can spread joy the way you do. It's not just a matter of joy, it's hope and most importantly peace. I could see the peace you brought to that mom and as she kicked her legs in excitement I could tell a weight was lifted. I know what the weight feels like and I was able to breathe for a minute too. Thanks for reminding me that things will be ok.

One of your many fans,

Kris
