Ellen surprised 25-year-old Jaime Vella last week with two tickets to Game 6 of the World Series so she could take her 82-year-old grandmother Lulu to see the Yankees play the Phillies. Grandma Lulu is a huge Yankees fan, but had never been to a game. Jaime wrote in to let Ellen know that Grandma Lulu had such an exciting time -- she screamed so much she lost her voice!
They brought a sign for Ellen, and so many people took their pictures they felt like celebrities. They even got to hang out in the VIP area! It was a special night for Grandma Lulu that was made even better when the Yankees won the World Series!

Those are nice pictures!!! I too have a grams that loves baseball.
I am glad it went to game 6! I was nervous about it thinking... but they have to have a game 6 so Lulu can go to the game that Ellen gave her tickets too!!! It was a fun series and I'm glad to see you had fun! Their is nothing like having a great grams! Mine is 92. I keep saying 90 but she reminded me that she is 92 and I'm like. WHAT? 92!? I am hoping that I can take her to a Mariners game. She loves to go to games! Its fun to go to games with your grams! So I know how special grams ares! and I'm glad you got to give Lulu her dream with Ellen's help and of course your help!!! You asked Ellen and she delivered!!! AWESOME!!!!
