Ellen's Huge Holiday Surprise -- Extended for the Web!

Last December, Carol LeBlanc and her family lost everything in a house fire. Today, Ellen sent Jeannie to surprise them with an early Christmas. Not all of it was able to make it on the show, but you can see the whole thing right here. It's a heartwarming moment you won't want to miss. Take a look now.

Happy Holidays Ellen, I wanted to let you know how much fun I have watching your show, the bad news is I just got laid off Dec.3rd, BUT, Hey the good news is I have more time to watch your show. I love the way you scare people and your humor is soo incouraging, your show is just a lot of fun and watching your generosity is soo over whelming, Yep Pencils is good..lol. Just keep dancing and laughing. I had to write today and I know you have a prayer or two for your fans, I got a call this morning that my Daughter-in-law who just found out she is expecting a baby in June, after the Dr. told her 12 years ago she couldn't have kids, now has to go in tomorrow because they think she may have cervical cancer, so just a lil prayer would help. I know you work hard at having your show, but it just seems that you have soo much fun on your show it just doesn't seem much like work. Soo Thanks again for all you do.

here's a little jingle for our Ellen:

Ellen's a hoot, we love her dearly
Making us smile oh-so-cheery,
She'll dance and joke, pull pranks to boot,
To Special guests, to giving out loot
We all really LOVE her
And want to show her
Hoping that SOMEDAY
Upasana will go there
She'll present the campaign
For Ellens special Day
And when that happens
We'll yell,
HOOOOORAYYYYY !!!

- ANNE M. RHODES :-)

WE'LL GO ALL THE WAY,
TO GIVE ELLEN HER DAY

Dear Ellen,
Thank you for the laughter and the good things that you do. I lost my husband of 32 years on 11/15/09 to cancer. The disease took him so fast and was so awful to watch I can't seem to get over the shock of it all. Everyday I try to get up and do what I need to do but the loss is great and I can't seem to think of the holiday's or anything but him. He was my best friend and a person with a heart of gold. If I had a wish for Christmas it would be for everyone to love the people in their life and appreciate every moment. I will spend my days wishing I could hold his hand one more time and wondering why he is not here with me. I paid for his funeral and have been disabled for the past 2 years. I don't worry about the financial issues because without him it doesn't matter. You cannot put a price on a love like we had...

Hi Ellen! Just wanted to let you know how much I love your show. My sister got me hooked a few years ago and I never miss a show. I have my son watching you all the time too. We laugh so hard. Your show makes my day.
I live in Canada. Am I not eligible to win your 12 days of Christmas give away?

We Love You Happy Holidays!God Bless You and Your Family. We'll Keep You In Our Prayers*ing

I'm work when your show airs but i do tape you every day and i just love the show. I can come home enjoy the show with my Fiance, Relax, and just Laugh everything. Love i keep up the good work!

Ellen, my husband will tell you I hate wearing makeup. I'll tell you he's right, I hate trying to find, buying or wearing makeup. Add to that the fact that I'm not at all someone who swoons over celebrities and you can imagine his shock when I told him I was buying Cover Girl now because YOU endorse them. I have found CG to meet my needs of being light, airy, covering the bad and letting through the good (I happen to like my freckles and so does my husband).

Hi Ellen,
I just wanted to say that you have to be the most generous person on Earth! If only there were more people like you this world would be a much better place.
I have not been much in the Christmas mood so far, but my spirits were lifted by your generosity!

Ellen, you are a mentor to all the world.I thank God everyday for all that I receive. I don't have much I work hard as so many americans, the crisis that we face today are so dramatic.I just went through a second crisis of my life but not to blame God for what and Why we don't understand, why he takes our precious loved ones.I just lost my second Sister & the last of us three. My oldest sister at the age of 48 died of a heart attack. My baby sister had a brain hemerage at the age of 46 and never recovered consciousnes. She was taken off of life support on Nov.18th 2009 only bieng on for 3 days but she had no brain activity at all. I prayed to God every second to please let her wake up, but he needed her more than me because Ellen she saved three lives, she gave someone her liver, one kidney to a recipient and the other kidney to another and gave the corneas of her eyes as a gift also. I'm not writing to ask for money or any help I borrowed the money to pay for Patty's funeral and I am resposible to fullfill that obligation for my sister. Her husband is incarseated in Mo prison & mom & dad are so poor they could only pay 100.00 on the funeral.I would like for you to let the world know of the "gift" that my sister & others in the world give & Care to let others live on when we can't to have a life & understand those that God takes is for a reason, she may have saved a young life or older life I do not know yet, until three weeks I will get a letter of whom these GIFTS were for. Thank You Ellen for maybe just considering to let people know "The Gift Of Life" Barbara Guerra Great Bend, KS 67530

Ellen,I've watched your show for yr's. and I have'nt won anything. It would be "totally awesome" to win your prizes this year. This year has been a terrible year. I need a "happy" time now. And winning from you would be cherishable. It would be a boost I "need" so desperately.Loosing my mom has been an incredible loss in my life..and my dad just got out of the hosptial for the 2nd time since mom died in Feb. My health has declined and I'm feeling so unhappy...You make me laugh and I love ya. I still want to meet you in person someday. When I get my financial miracle.I "love" to help people and I know you and I have the same goals...to help the hurting. LOVE YOU LOTS!!! Jane Baker

Hi Ellen, It's me, Tantania. I just wanted to say thank you for encouraging me on a daily basis. But I havn't watched your show in over two weeks because our lights are out at my house & me and my family has been living house to house with other family members & friends. It's very stressful living like this because we never know where we would be sleeping every night. I try to take care of my mom as much as I could. But I am really asking for your help with whatever you can. Please Ellen!

I love love love your show. I have never seen such a generous person as yourself! The episode with the family that lost everything from a fire, had me totally sobbing. You are amazing and I hope someday to meet you!!

Hi Ellen, I would like to say, I love your show. You really are great helping all those people. Ellen, I bought 6 O magazines from your website, and I have my confirmation where payment was received, but I haven't received my mags. What can I do or who may I call. Please let me know. Thank you so much, Kathleen Nunez in Louisiana.

Ellen, Hi my name is Debbie Arnold from Fulton N.Y. and you do a lot of nice things for a lot of people and I was wondering if you could help out my Mother in Law her name is Bernice Kimball and she has stage 4 breast cancer also she does not have a lot of money for Christmas this year because of doctor bills and medicine that she needs to help her get better with her cancer.I am her daughter in law and i go with her to her doctors apportionment each time she goes. She has a large family and can't buy them much this year we almost lost her in July of this year could you help her in some way please she watches your show everyday that she can and she thinks you are wonderful doing what you do for so many people if you could please make her Christmas a happy one because I know you can do it! Thanks much from her daughter in law ,Debbie Arnold.

Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We should not have assumed that there were no thank you's, I have three children myself and could imagine what those poor parents were having to go through, I know with my children that we would have been able to shoot at all. I am the first to say that with all the stress of supporting a family these days and the stress with the holidays that I am a little more touchy so. I am so happy that Ellen could bless your family for the holidays. I hope everything goes well, and you guys truly deserved a miracle after last year. I hope you guys get back into a better home real soon.

Dear Ellen,
I love love your show. You always have me laughing with tears in my eyes. I don't know how to start with all the things you help me get through with your show. I mostly watched your show when I was sad or upset about something. Now I find myself watching your show more and more. I am a mother of three children that work hard to get good grades in school. For the last two years I have been having trouble keeping things from falling apart from having financial problems and now to my recent lay off from a job I love doing. i have had a mental break even though I am feeling better I am still sad about my current situation. I was renting and was previously behind 2 months rent but because of the my losing my job lost my home of 3 years. I have signed up for school I am set to begin in Jan. 2010 but I don't even know if I am going to school because from week to week I worry about where we are going be at. Right now we are in a hotel room because of my unemployment benefits. I don't usually ask anyone for help but I am crying out to you not know if or when you can help. my children are older and each one want to get a job so they can help me and that make me feel worthless like I should be doing more for them. with Christmas I don't know what we gonna do here. Please help me do something I would be happy with anyway you decide to help my kids have the Christmas they want. Please keep the laughter coming because I need that more than anything.

Sincerely,

Letrecia Edwards

Dear Ellen,
I would like to first congratulate you on a wonderful show. I am a mother of five wonderful children. My husband and I have been blest to send the oldest two children to college while the younger ones continue their education as well. I have been blest with a 9 year old who has had the privilege of being granted a beautiful voice. He sings mariachi music and loves to sing whenever given a chance. I have been ill with Menieres Disease and have not been able to work for lack of balance and vertigo which affects me daily. My husband is also disabled and helps write songs for little Luis. It would be a great christmas gift to my family if you would consider my son to appear on your show. Since we all don't fit in our little dodge dakota we have'nt really been able to give little Luis "El Gallito" or the little rooster (a name past on to him by my husband)the opportunity he deserves to take him to different venues where he can be heard. It is very difficult to leave half the clan behind because we all don't fit in our truck. While we have a van it is missing parts and we cannot afford its parts at this time. Despite all the obstacles Luis' brother accompanys him by playing vihuela (guitar) and both make a great team and make the best of our situation. This is why I would like to give them a surprise this christmas-they are indeed the best children any mother could ask for. Thank you for your attention to my request-have a terrific holiday season.

Who care if the soldier's face is brown black or white
I know in a crisis he/she will put up the greatest fight. He will work so hard to keep me safe
This I do not doubt
His color does not matter
This my dear I shout
We are all the same
No matter the color
Or the gender
We are all the same.
We are all the same.
To even wonder what color he/she is
That keeps me safe day & night
Is more than an insult
My dear it isn't right.
Don't separate my people
By the color of their skin
And all are my people
To make a difference is the greatest sin.
For if you wonder
Who it is by color
You have compromised....love
Think about it
Think on it hard
These thoughts must cease
We are all the same
We are all the same.
What a shame.
To play this game...
Will only hurt our country
And each other
Individually
We must love one another
Unconditionally.
If only we could all be blind for a day
Having to interact
I wonder what you would say
would you wonder then
I think not
I love each and every soldier
your skin I do not see
Just the lovely soul
I know you to be.
