ellen i want to say that when your on in the afternoon that watching and listening to you makes my day a brighter one. your show is a very thoughtful one and i can really feel your sincerity with every word you say. i have a mom whos got diminsea and my sister who lives with us works, so i am the one who is responsible for making sure that she eats and gets her meds and the one who has to watch over her. she likes to go outside and work in the yard. there are days she is more confused and has tempertantrums. i now im not the first person to have to deal with stuff. i love my mom and want to take care of her the way she has taken care of us in the past. but there are days that the frustration gets to me but if i sit and watch your show and when my moms inside she watches with me, w always laugh. thanks and please continue to entertain us. thanks cindy
My Christmas wish would be to help the Rowles family (a british family) with their foundation in helping street dogs. You can read about what this wonderful family does on their website www.streetdogrescue.com They are desperately trying to raise enough money to build a shelter. My Wish would be to get them a shelter.

Hi Ellen, I wanted to tell you how very special you are in my life. I am 54 years old and divorced. I have always been the caretaker in my family taking care of my mom and dad(even tho I am the youngest)until they passed away. I lost my job because of the time I had to spend with my mom and when I went back to work I had to take a $6.00 an hour pay cut. I got behind in my rent and have been in debt ever since. I have had my wages attached twice because I couldn't make monthly payments. My ex-husband stopped paying alimony and I can't afford an attorney to go to court. The big problem now is that my car has 96,000 miles on it and needs $5000 worth of work. I am driving it now with very bad brakes but I have to get to work.I just don't have any money to get it fixed. I have to get to work but there is no public transportation that goes there.
On top of everything else in the last month My son in law beat my daughter so my daughter is alone with two kids and no car. I try to help anyway I can by taking the kids on my two days off but she lives forty miles away. I pray I will make it every time I drive there. I used two hundred dollars of my rent money to buy them groceries and diapers. Thru all of this and more(i won't go into) I sometimes find it hard to get out of bed in the morning. One thing that helps so much is coming home and watching your show. You make me laugh and you make my heart smile. You are the most generous person in the world and you have helped so many people. I totally get where you are coming from because the most important thing in my life is giving and making people happy. I was able to volunteer for nine years helping people in crises and it was one of the most rewarding times of my life. If there is anything you could do to help me so I could help my daughter and grandkids I would be so grateful. I love you Ellen...unfortunately I couldn't afford to but "O" magazine with you on it I pray it is the biggest selling issue. I tell all my friends and coworkers so maybe it will help! Keep making people smile Ellen...you have no idea how many people you touch!!!!!!!! Jana

Hi Ellen. I have had a very bad day. I watched your show and cheered up, then I put in the Andy Williams Christmas CD, and cheered up even more. Have you ever thought about having Andy Williams on your show? I remember watching his show growing up. Thanks for the laughs and for the love that you share.
