Ellen, I have always loved you. You are a true "natural". I can't and won't judge others if they say they need financial help, I would be grateful for any help at all. I am only 52 and I have a bad heart. I really have a very wonderful and loving heart. I suffered a devastating heart attack and subsequent open heart surgery when I was 49. It has totally devastated my life in ways I never dreamed of. On top of that, I had to be cut open again because the wires holding my sternum together came undone. I don't like feeling sorry for myself, but since you are in the business of making people laugh and smile, I would give anything for some teeth implants so I could smile and laugh like crazy whenever you are on. I guess one never really knows what it's like trying to hold back a smile for fear someone will see the mess my poor mouth is in. It's really painful for me Ellen. I guess you could say "All I Want For Christmas is some decent teeth".LOL. I used to be a dog groomer, but I am not able to do that work, lifting etc, because of my bad sternum. I hope your back is better, and I love everything you do Ellen. I pray that things will be better for myself and everyone who is struggling. Please, please help me to laugh and smile normally. My teeth are so embarassing. Love you lots. God Bless. I'll keep praying.

That game is hilarious. It's just silly as heck and that's what maks a good game. Ellen, you did a great job picking the first three contestants. The middle one looked hilariously mortified, especially when she was next after the first contestant 'dropped' or rather slammed to the floor is more like it. The 'EEEK!!' when they all 'went down', as you put it (hilarious) had me laughing so hard I scared my cat and dog to death- who were asleep at my feet- And that last girl walked right into your set up - changing November to DO-vember!! Everyone knows a newborn dear is a fawn but she was tricked and so she went down! Hilarious. I can't wait to see more, especially more than anything else, I want to see some guys GO DOWN! Bring it on!

Hi Ellen! I have been watching you "doughvember" shows and Iam so overwhelmed by your generiosity. You have a a big heart that is uncommon these days. I wish the rest of the world would act the way you do. I wish you could send the cash booth my way! We are really struggling right now, because of my recent surgery. My husband was only suppose to have to stay home with me after surgery one day. But when the surgery was done, the surgeon said I needed someone with me constantly for at least a week and half. So my husband lost a week and a half of pay and iam only getting 65 0/0 of my pay. The taxes are due on the house, car taxes are due, the propane tank is about empty and medical bills have started tricking in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love your show Kim Burnette

My daughter is disabled from a stroke. It leaves us a lot of tv time. We schedule our work and cooking for the am so we can sit down and not miss a minute of your show.i used to not share my Mothers enthusiasm for the old Red Skeleton and Ed Sullivan shows like she did .Now i understand. Its a cold world and u bring people together with laughter and love. Thanks

Dear Ellen,
On your Wednesday Nov,4th's show , you had Jonathan Safran Foer author of "Eating Animals", I was very moved by this topic because of how the rest of the story was left out. My husband has been running his family's dairy farm here in Still Pond, MD for the last five years, and working on it his whole life. It is the farm that Mr.Foer said people picture when they think of a farm. The cows have open pasture, sunlight, soil and are treated the way animals are suppose to be. And yes even farmers,(my Jason even wares suspenders!)My husband loves those cows like they are his pets. I will never forget seeing him cry after having to put one of the cows "to sleep". Local camp (Echo Hill) brings there children to the farm regularly to visit and see what dairy farming is like. The Payne family has never charged the community for things like that.
My husbands passion and commitment for what he does is inspirational.
That is why it is so sad that the farm may have to end, like so many small family owned and operated farms. Farms that care about their animals, their enviroment, the product that they produce, and the people who bring that product into there lives and there children's life.
We are in a financial criticise and so is the farm. Even though Jason works a minimum of 70hrs a week his gross salary is only $1700 a month. I have a ten year old from my first marriage and we have just had a new baby join our family three months ago. I ended my daycare of six years that I owned and started so I could take care of my son and myself when I was a singel mom, to move to the farm so my husband could be closer to work. My health has been crap, and the doctor bills...well lets just say the insurance and health care stiuation in America does stink. We have almost $80,000 in credit card debt.
I am 33yrs and my husband is only 27 yrs and we can not afford to live, and the farm is not in much better shape. Now they are talking about selling the cows and calling it quits. It is difficult to see my husband struggle with this, and also to know that we may spend the rest of our lives just recovering.
I am not sure how to spell out all the details of why farms like Pine Croft are all dieing off and factory farms like the ones Mr. Foer was taking about are taking over. People want and deserve farms like Pine Croft, and there are still people like Jason who are willing to work everyday ( you know cow's do not break for holidays, birthday... so my Jason does not either!)
I never hear anyone talking about the loss of the wonderful farms, or the cry to save them. We are willing to give up all extra that people have in life and to live with the basics, but it is still not enough. I am sure we are not alone, even though it feels that way alot. If you can do anything to bring awareness to the fate of these farms, I hope you will think about it.
We love you and what you do, Thanks for making us laugh, Jill,Jason, Austin, & Alex Payne

Ellen,

Every day after school my daughter and granddaughter stop by to check on me and to have an afternoon snack. We watch your show and love it.
My daughter is a teacher and my granddaughter just celebrated her thirteenth birthday.I am a stroke victim and have my good days and bad days. Due to our loss of income because of my stroke, my wife was forced to take a job that requires much travel. My daughter and granddaughter stop by not only to watch your show, but to make sure I am OK. I would like to do something special for them, but monetarily that is impossible. You always come up with such wonderful ideas to help others. Got any ideas as to what I could do to show my appreciation and love?

Hi Ellen, I love your shows. All your shows are great. It makes me cry with joy, when you make people happy when they are down and out. And the show 'Know or Go' is so funny. You can just see the look on there faces when they say the wrong answer. I hope your back gets better. Its no fun.
Sincerely, Gaylene Hogue

ELLEN,
I would like for you and Tyra to check out this new medical garment called "Body Magic". You can drop 2-3 sizes in 10 minutes. I know you both swear by the SPANX products but I need you to check out this Body Magic...You will never go back to SPANX again. It is totally awesome.

This game is Awesome!! I have mascara running everywhere from laughing so hard.

Loved your new game. You are the best Ellen.

I can't stop smiling! I laughed! I LOVED the game, but I wish you had prizes that included the whole family. We have 5 kids and I always feel bad for the winners that probably have kids and have to chose. WISH we could play!! Good grief I'm still smiling!
LOVE you! Thanks for the great start to my day!

I was in the audience for the 11/3 show and as soon as Ellen came out knew that her back was hurting again. We were disappointed that she wouldn't be dancing down our row. During the commercial breaks, you could see by the expression on her face that she was in alot of pain. It was a great experience though - fun see how it all works. Ellen, you are a trouper!!
