I am a huge fan. I find it offensive when you have popular hollywood stars on that spend the majority of time plugging their perfume products I honestly change the channe. It seems to happen on a daily basis .Thanks for listening.Wishing you and your family and staff happy holiday season

Hey Ellen,

Got a question for you. How come when I enter the daily giveaways and confirm my email address, that I do not get an email confirmation that you received my info. I have written in before to inquire about this and have not gotten a response. I enter everyday and never once have I gotten any confirmation. Before you confirm your email address, it says that you will receive a response and need to follow the instructions in it to complete your registration for the prize. NO WONDER I have never won anything!!

I'm just wondering if I am the only one this happens to. Perhaps I am doing something wrong.

ELLEN VIEWERS...if this happens to you write in and let Ellen know.

Thanks for your help.

Hi My name is Holly May Meiszner and i am 22 years old from England with turners syndrome.

My dream is to be a famous hollywood actress and singer. It has always been my passion. The people who i have met over the years have told me to give it up which it has really hurt me. I have never been to America before and i always wanted to go.

Please make my dreams come true. I never had any opportunity or a normal life because i am disabled. Please read this comment on your show. If you did make my dreams come true, it will make my day. It will also make me very happy. My life hasn't been easy because i have had a lot negative influence in my life because it hasn't been fair on me. I had to deal with a lot of emotions in my life.

I have written comments on your website but you don't seem answer. it would be nice if you did. I just want my life to change.

Thank you for reading this comment

I knew it was Bette Midler just by the clues. I am so proud of her success! And now we have a president from Hawaii too!

Hawaii is the best and I wish to see it soon again.

Hi Ellen,

I watch you all of the time and absolutely love you and your show. I enjoy seeing the people you help smile and know that there is someone there who really cares. I cry with them and smile with you. I would love to come and see your show, but cant afford to and am afraid to fly. So, I see you daily on the tube. Our family is having it tough like alot of others right now, but you make things better with your love and laughter. I hope your back gets better soon and remember, I am your biggest fan!!!!!!

Lots of love,
Pam Hayes

Hey Ellen! I'm in South Africa and just want to say I love your show. You so hilariously funny!

Hey Ellen, I wrote to Oprah about a book that I recently wrote. Its called A Year in My Shoes by Louise Lampard (that's me) & it is about my fight with cervical cancer.
Oprah blatantly ignored me so I wondered if you wanted to read it instead lol
I figured Oprah is soooooo yesterday & you are so fabulous, maybe you should start your own book club & my book could be your first pick, haha!
Anyway, have fun in Chicago & don't mention my book to Oprah in case she wants to pick it for her book club :)
Love Louise x

Ellen: Not all people have the stuff to download a pic to send in for your contest. This is really hard to enter when you can't send in a pic. I hope your back gets well soon, I know how you feel I have had back problems going on 17yrs. And I can't do much of anything anymore. my fave, was golf & dancing most of all & I was a pretty good dancer in my day. And it doesn't take much to get it out, so you really need to be very carefull at all times. You can just sleep wrong & get it hurting, so that's what I mean you don't have to do much to get it started. Get well soon!
Debbie

Ok...Hey! I needed to share with you Ellen that through your wisdom & compasion on things, I've really made a big step.
I've decided to start out by being a vegatarian...not vegan just yet, but listening to some things u have shared & a movie I chose to buy from tv, it's called "Inc. Food" & it was the final straw when I saw what they do to those poor (WOW I am now crying like crazy again) it was terrible just SICK!!!! forget about the cows, I am a strong Christian & ya know I don't care what people say God did not put animals on the earth to "keep them in the dark, stand in there own poop, never see day lt, get them so huge that they can't even stand on their own...Ellen it's horrible disgusting!
I actually feel scared. I don't know how but I can't even give my poor little kitty any kind of food w/ meat, ever. It's been almost 6 days w/out meat. Now mind I am not a little person so I think this will benefit me in a lot of ways. Plus I am sharing with friends.
So all n all "thanks Ellen" for sharing who you are & your convictions.
Now if I could only meet mr right and live happily ever after:) Yay being the big (# after 39) still can't say it, never ever ever and I mean EVER been with ANYONE!!! I know pretty pathetic but I'm saving myself for "that over fence reach for the stars world series kind of thing"! Or just die the virgin mary and now a vegatarian:)
Thanks to all of y'all for what you do on this show, I always walk away smiling....good medicine:)
just don't watch docum late because you will have nightmares.
Hope ur back is healing

Hi Ellen,
Just wanted to say congrats to you and O' Magazine, it's about time!!! Love you, love Oprah too, two ladies I call role models and truly admire. I adore you and the wonderful way in which you reach out and touch lives. You are an inspiration to all women and I love how easy it is for me to smile when watching your show. keep on doing what you do cause you just do it so well.

I received this from a friend of mine on facebook and thought you might want to send a card to this young man....I checked it out and saw an article on MSNBC.

Diana Harrison Biorkman (friend of a friend) has a 5yr old son Noah. He is in the last stages of a 2 1/2yr battle with neuroblastoma cancer. The family is celebrating Xmas next week, & Noah's request is to get lots of Christmas cards. Lets get him some!! Please send cards to: Noah Biorkman 1141 Fountainview Circle South Lyon, MI 48178 USA (please feel free to repost this and help the kid out).

Hi Ellen,

I love watching your show. I try to watch everyday, even if I have to record it and watch it later. I was just wondering what is that a picture of behind you on the big screens? It looks to me like they are Jackalopes. We don't have the greatest picture on our tv, but each day I watch I just can't seem to make out what those are. I didn't even know those really existed. Where did you get a picture of so many of them together? Thanks so much for your time.
