Ellen,

I only have written to one other show host in my life (and fifty is a long time) Oprah! She never responded but I didn't think she would anyway. So, if you don't respond I won't take it personally, so here goes.

The reason for this letter is, I find you to be one of the most kind hearted and genuine person that I have seen in a long time. They say that eyes are the window to a person's soul, well your eyes are soo blue and clear that your soul must be as beautiful as your eyes.

I can't watch everyday and don't have tivo but when I do get the opportunity to watch the things you do are halarious and bittersweet that I leave watching the show laughing and crying at the same time. Everyone has one thing or other going on in their lives (I'm not any different) but it is uplifting to see someone reaching out and helping others whenever they can (they being you and your staff).

My hope is that your generousity spreads and more people take the hint and pay it forward.

People like you are soo hard to find and a real treasure and I hope you and your family know how wonderful you are. Just making people laugh is amazing enough but you go further and actually help people whenever you can. That, itself I find to be touching and you touch my heart more than you realize, I'm sure I'm not the only one.

If you need anything from me please let me know, I don't have much but I have wisdom, I hear that comes with age.

Hi Ellen and everyone at the Ellen show, I am feeling poorly today and trying not to feel sorry for myself sitting in front of the TV watching your show the episode with Taye Diggs and the anouncement of his baby and also checking out my farm on facebook....I leave in Drogheda a lovely town in the Republic of Ireland, I am so glad we finally get to see you on the cover of O magazine, well I cheated a bit we won't be seeing that show until the second or third week in December, I noticed you needed a bit of assistance getting down the stairs for the reveal, I hope your back is okay.....God bless you for everything you do for people, animals and the environment.....you don't know me but love you loads and hope to see you one day xxxMarian

dear ellen i got a game for you all to play on your show . we was so poor we would get a box for a gift with a vegs pots meats jugs wood . we would have to guest what was in the box and then we would have to fix it like if you got a box with apple s in it you would have to make apple pie or jelly apple butter, if you get a box with pots in it you would make mash pots or fryed pots or if you get a jug you would have to walk to spring to get spring water in the jug and bring it home ,we had alot of fun when we was young . you could put what ever you want in a box and make them guest what was in the box , like one year it was my grandmother brithday and i got 1 dollars bill from family and friend and tied them to ballons in a box and it was so cool to see her trying to get the money off them wild they was going up in the air. love your show keep danceing smileing love linda
