Next Story: Dave and Dave's Surprise for Ellen
Dear Ellen:
I lost my job and this day I had an opportunity to watch daytime television. I was surfing channels and came across your show. I did not get the story from the beginning on this particular segment. However I believe you blessed this young girl working hard to put herself through school gave her and her little boy a free trip to Disneyland. The blessings did not stop there. The young girl which I wish I knew her name had alot of mechanical problems with her car ( I know what that feels like) and was financially in debt over 9,000 dollars. I was in shock but not in shock to see how you changed this young mother's life. Also to know that she will be able to get better education and not worry about the bills and if the car will make it from point A to point B. Those pressures alone can compromise and interfere with trying to get the grades needed to pass the courses as I'm sure you know.(THAT'S WHY YOU BLESSED HER) What a blessing for making a difference in a life and a BIG one at that. To see the mom's face seeing her blessing be blessed. Ellen, I don't know if you will ever see this e-mail I just wanted you or the show's producers to know that I was touched with this segment of the program. I'm sure that this isn't the first time that someone hasn't walked away or shall I say drove away with something wonderful you have done on your show it just happens to be the first one I was able to see.
Continued success with the show. Ellen, all the best with American Idol.
God Bless You,
Pamela Benzel

I just watched the "Know and Go" portion of your show. It was absolutely hilarious. I just had two implants put in yesterday (teeth that is...not breasts) and laughed so hard I thought they would fall out! The best is watching the enjoyment you got out of hosting your show. You are the best. I have been on disability (back surgery) since July; got layed off in June and try to watch all of your shows. Would love to see your show in person but I understand you can't get tickets this year. Keep on being yourself and making everyone laugh. Chow!

Ellen!
Like your tie! I cringe when I see you wince in pain. OUCH.
Suggestions 'cause I carez!
1) acupuncture
2) keep on taking the meds!!
3) Don't cross your legs-that tweeks your back ):
4) Take more meds!!!
5) No jerkey movements!
6) extreme bed rest this weekend!
7) lay on back with feet up!(lower back pain help)
8) Take your meds!!!!
9) rest rest rest!
10) tell your back specialist to work his/her majic and take your pain away INSTANTLY! (wouldn't that be great if they could do that!)
I really hope your back gets better Ellen. I really do. I tweaked my back a month ago and I elevated and iced and took ibuprofen A LOT and used my bendomatic (my knees) keeping my back straight anytime I needed to bend over. Then my knees and thigh muscles hurt! LOL
I know you are taking care of yourself and you know what to do ... I just wish your back felt better so I wouldn't wince/cringe when I see you cringe... I guess you can say I feel for you and BACK PAIN BE GONE!
in all sincerity Ellen....
WO(word out!)
