I watch your show every day! Even on my worst day you can manage to make me laugh! I can tell you are a very sincere lady.
I am a 59 year old mother of 3 grown children and one grown step daughter. i live in Easteern Kentucky about 90 miles away from Lexington Kentucky.
My husband and I are Grandparents of 6, for which 4 of them we are raiseing! We have been in court for over 3 years now, over our granddaughter.The Attorneys fees are mounting up. But we did get sole custody, for whitch the father has put in to the Court Of Appeals. Today (November 4,2009) we are going to court for child abuse aginst the father.
We have two grandsons ages 9 & 10 and 2 grand daughters ages 3 & 7 1/2 months. We take care of them the best we can , but we are on a fixed income, and sometimes we fall short, but some how we seem to get by. We have accumalited about $2,000 in credit card debt.
What im writeing you about is when we all want to go somewhere as a family we have to take two seprate vehicles one for me and the kids and another for my husband.we usally have to get second hand cars by borrowing money from the bank ( money that we really couldnt afford borrowing but knew that we had too) which that lead us into more payments that we have to pay back. My car is a 1998 ford tauras, the air condition quit working and also my radio dont work anymore. but we have been very lucky that it is still working considering that it is a pre owned car.
I know that you usally help people who have simular problems. We sure could use the extra helpif you could find it in your heart to help us ,If you cant i will always be your biggest fan and love you just the same.... from our house to yours ahppy thanksgiving.

We recenty found out that we have to come up with an additanil 5,000 dollars for our lawyer to respond to the court of appeals but like i said please help me and my family for the hollidays this year and make our christmas wish come true not opnly for us but our grand kids here is a email address that you can reach us with and please email me so i can give u more information

i have to say i love love your show, and it's a guaranteed good time! it makes me laugh as much as "who's line" did! i have a deal for ya! if you bring paul wesley from vampire diaries....or what the heck even the whole cast, i will buy an O magazine! LOL. i am hooked on this new show, and let me tell you; ellen and the young and the restless are the only other shows i make sure to watch! i think that's fare..... ok, you can give me a terrain too since you love to give them away!:) later ellen!

I would like to write a letter to Ellen regarding my brother, Jamie Pasquale who died Nov. 9th 2009 from complication from Swine Flu. He was the first middle aged adult to die from Swine Flu in Niagara County. He left behind 5 children and a wife. He was only 41 yrs old. My brother was a builder and started many projects in their house, that will now go unfinished. The family doesn't have to nickels to rub together, for home improvement or other expenses. Please help me help my brothers children.

dear ellen,i loveyou and your show,for one hour everyday you give me laughter and show the real meaning of joy,i want to apply for your stimulus package but dont know how to upload a photo.my husband was severly injured last december and was out of work for 14months,he is now going for his 5th surgry and will be out of work again,but even though sometimes we dont have enough money for food or stress how were going to pay our bills , my husband always makes me and our girls laugh and feel loved everyday and always finds a way to find work so me and our girls dont have to do without necessitys he always does without, driving with no gas or food to eat and in constant pain,please consider him for your package he deserves it for all he gives up for us and even though we may not have much we are gratefull we have him this year.thank you for giving people hope and laughter. sincerly yours lisa hoogendoorn.

Im Marisa. Im 14 years old and my mom is a single mother that has to take care of 5 other people. 4 girls and her dad. She works at Taco Bell/KFC full time and goes to school full time. Just recently our house was "plagued" with H1N1. We're better now but because of that my mom was not able to work for the two weeks she was sick. Since then we recently got a letter from our landlord saying we only have 14 days to get out. This is the second time we have gotten letters saying we were being evicted. My mom is always stressed out and its hard for us to see her like that. Theres nothing any of us can do. I've tried getting a job so I can help her out a little bit but theres nothing for unexperienced 14 year olds. We really need help and theres nothing that we can do now.

I am a huge fan of your show and saw Justin Bieber on it. I love him and was so excited to meet him at the mall today. I am 14 and live in Fairfield Connecticut and had to drive all the way to long island. I was so excited to meet him but it was canceled. I was extremely disappointed. I know this sounds very selfish but I would absolutely love to meet him. Anyway keep up the good job on your show, it's amazing.

Dear Ellen - -I love your show. I know that you help so many people with problems. My daughter Misty is a proud mother of two handsome sons. She is divorced. She works in Reno. NV as an LPN. Her car was recently re-po'ed. Will she make sure that her sons do not go without, she is unable to get enough dollars for a vheicle. They currently ride the city bus to get to work, daycare and school. She is in college also. She wants to come home for Christmas but right now it looks like that won't happen wither. I am 12 years old and turning 13. I am not your average kid. I don't want a facebook or a cell phone.But i do watch Ellen. MY Abuleo, Aunt, and i heard you were on the cover of O magazine! We couldn't wait to buy a copy. One day i came home sort of bummed.
Why come home in a bum feeling? Well I like this kid. Hes not in my classroom and i dont talk to him much... You're probably having a field day with this letter already! at the end if the day this girl (who i dont like very much and NOT just because she likes him)She was squealing and giggling and i asked her why she was so happy. She told me that the kid that i like wrote her a note... Sounds stupid right...In the note it said thanks for letting me borrow your ruler . Write down how ever i can repay you. Leave your phone number if you want.I was sort of sad but not really(LIAR!) i couldn't stop thinking about it.
Then My aunt brought home O magazine! I AM PART OF HISTORY! WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! Then i felt better. Who needs a love song boy? I took your advice. Dance it off!!!

Dear Ellen, Yesterday I was watching your show and was inspired to write to you and share a story with you.It is about my youngest brother who was born a little person, he is a very hardworking and prideful guy who bought a home for my parents and currently lives and takes care of them, last year he was laid off from his job of 15 years.I found out while visiting him the other day that he was behind on his mortgage and in jeopardy of losing the house. I also found out that he tried to refinance through a company who required him to give them money for undisclosed fees to complete this process. Well it has been 6months and he has not heard from them, they pretty much took his money.This has left him behind because he did not have the money to give in the first place.We can not afford to fight them with an attorney so they pretty much have taken advantage of him. On top of that my mother had a stroke, the dog has gone blind in one eye due to cataract we cant afford to get fixed and he has gotten this horrible skin disorder on his back so vet bills are crazy and to add some more chaos to his life, my sister is now staying there and her and two children are living in the garage that is so extremely cold I worry everyday, I do what I can but it has become overwhelming, I would have them stay with me but I am barley am making it with my 3 children. Is there something you could do for them please? I am afraid for them...I hope this letter somehow finds you in the many thousands you most definitely have. Sincerely,
