Hi Ellen,
i love watching your show a lot. i love you so much, i am doing a report on you for english class. the project is for me to decide why you should be in the hall of fame.

I wrote you earlier to tell you thanks for all your help with breast cancer awareness and for the laughter you give.
This time I write to ask for your prayers. I must have both breasts removed. I am frightened for myself and my 2 children. We are praying that things go well, and the insurance will pay for the reconstruction, I pray and hope you will keep us in your thoughts.
Keep up the good work and the laughter!
I would not mind if you keep my small family in your prayers. I a doctor/specialist about the details on November 12. God Bless the laughter & dance!
Love and hugs. Always Lorie

Ellen:

I want to thank you for being such a positive force for so many causes. I am a breast cancer survivor, diagnosed early last year just before my 40th birthday. I have met so many amazing people on this journey, and in an odd way, you were one of them. Working full time, I had not had much opportunity to watch day time TV. You were a hit in the chemo treatment room, bringing laughter and compassion to each day. Thank you for all that you do, and especially for the awareness you bring to this terrible disease. Laugh, Dance, Cure!!!

heyy ellen:)

I just like to say that its wonderful on what your doing for the supporting the breast cancer foundation. You are so funny and a beauitful person and my parents, and my brothers and I watch you everyday. My dad always said, " I gotta watch my girl Ellen, thats my girl! haha. anyhow.. my mother had breast cancer four years ago and I thank God everyday that she is still here with us. That's my survivor. We donate every year and thanks again for all your support that you do! Love Yaa Ellen

Hey Ellen,

I had to tell you about my daughter Alisha, she graduated college from UofO - ducks. Her major was in Japanese and minor in international business.

She moved to Tokyo to intern with "Run for the Cure" she is one of the contacts for the run and also for the "Pink Ball" a big dinner at the end of the summer. She is also translating for the website and newsletter.

Like she says on her blog http://arishaintokyo.wordpress.com/ and You Tube vlog, http://www.youtube.com/user/ArishaInTokyo

She is saving "one boob at a time".

We are so proud of her and I had to share.

Thanks for making me laugh everyday after work at the hospital! Keep up the great work and I love my Saws All too! Kelly I

In the month of October when all is pink, Every woman should sit downand seriously think, Now is the time to take the test. Call your local doctor to squish your breasts, To poke, prod, and check for bumps, Hope he doesn't find any lumps.

Hi Ellen
I'm hosting a pinkilicious/think pink party at home with some girlfriends on 16th Oct. The plan is to decorate the rooms in pink/breast cancer decorations and eat and drink pink while wearing pink! Why not get carried away!!!
I was looking for a charity to supoport as we will be raising funds while having fun. Since seeing the show yesterday, I have chosen Susan G komen. Thank you for the inspiration. I have contacted them for literature I can give to the girls at the party to raise awareness.
I LOVE the show. Keep up the good work!

Hey Ellen!

I just want to say thank you for all you give. You give hope, you give laughter, you give your heart and soul in everything you do. Breast Cancer awareness month is a VERY Special and important month. My best friend (and mother), Susan was diagnosed with this horrible disease when she was 34 (I 7,sister 2 and brother 13 months), and at the age of 41, she lost her battle. She was by far, the strongest person I have ever known. From running back and fourth between work, to treatments, to home so she could cook and never missing a second of her children's wants or needs in between. My mother is and always will be my inspiration. I have promised to devote my time in any way possible to bring awareness and hope for a cure and seeing so many popular, inspirational people join the cause to raise money is very promising for women. Thank you for being you and doing what you do best, Love. You are an amazing woman, Ellen. XOXO

Sincerely,

Melissa

Hi Ellen,
I was sitting here today watching the show not realizing it was breast cancer awareness month. I had a mastectomy two days ago. I am very aware of breast cancer. Too many people have it. I think we need to come up with a way to not only cure but even better to prevent it. I already lost my breast. My grandmother had breast cancer and my mother and now me. I want my daughter to not have to worry about this. Thank you for all you are doing. I want a laugh.dance.cure tee shirt too. My daughter bought me one that says, "Yes, they are fake. My real ones tried to kill me." I can't wear that one to work. A faithful fan. Kathy

You need shirts for BCA that say: laugh. Dance. Ta Ta's.

I am very glad that you are a big fighter for curing cancer. I am just a little confused now. I loved when you did "Stand Up For Cancer", because that involved all types of cancer. I know that Breast Cancer is also a horrible cancer, but so are lung, colon, throat, neck and many other types that people are not aware of. I don't believe in giving to one kind of cancer. I think all cancers should get an even share of donations and awareness. You never know what you can learn from other research in cancers. Now that you are doing Breast Cancer for October, are you going to be fair and do the other cancers for each month. I have lung cancer and never smoked in my life. November is lung cancer month. Will you do the same about it as you are for breast cancer. I will not make a big thing just about lung cancer in November or any other cancer month. I know each type of cancer needs more money and research to find a cure. There was a time when Breast cancer didn't get much attention, but now it gets the most. Please find it in your heart to share the money, research and advertisement for all cancers. Everyone is important and needs a chance to fight cancer. I hope to see that you will either make a big thing for individual cancers or put all cancers under one umbrella. As a cancer victim myself, I want to see scientist bring cancer under control by using a broad range of research that will help find a world cure.

Thank you for all your help spreading
the word that we want everyone women make sure they check each month and get their Mammogram
I know not all Cancers are found in this way.

Thanks so much for all you do,

The cancer site is great for the cure of breast cancer. But what about the survivors that no longer have health insurance and cannot afford mamos, office visits or the expensive meds that we have to take, Is there a help site for us??
