Smokey the Cat Keeps On Keepin' On!

We've had a lot of questions about our good friend, Smokey the Cat. We want you all to know that Smokey is in good health and still regularly visits the set. Since there's so much activity happening on stage, we've moved his dishes to a safer and more permanent home in the studio.

Since they're in a safer location, it's hard for us to get a camera there. I want you to know that we are still feeding him his Halo pet food and Ellen water every day. And, of course, if anything major happens, you'll know about it!

How many times does one have to ask about Smokey's whereabouts? Can anyone even read? Put his dishes back where they belong!!!!!!!!Thanks!!!!!!!!

At the picture of Smokey under the steps, there is a note:" and of course if anything happens, you'll know about it"! Really? We haven't seen him on the cams for 10 days. So was that a lie? We like to know about our good friend Smokey whereabouts? All you who's job it is to read Ellen's e-mail, how about letting us know what you did to that cat. Thanks!

Why where Smokey's things moved out from under the steps? He seemed very happy there. He was making friends with the tour groups. Did someone become jealous of him? Bring him back to that place! We want to see him on the cams again, it's not nice what was done!!!!!

Hallo Debi, Sachi and all the ones who like to know more about Smokey. I did go to Facebook but don't know if I'm doing it correctly to reach you. There must be a way for Ellen to let us know about the cat, can't be that much trouble. She is most likely not reading messages. Is someone going to her show anytime? Don't forget to inquire and ask her to put everything back on.

Hi Helga! We are all still here looking for Smokey every day. We have gone to Facebook because someone here kept on deleting our posts. Our original blog had over 3000 messages on it. We kept in touch all last summer, and then one day toward the middle of August someone took Smokey's bowls away from the stage when they were preparing the studio for the new season. We have never seen them since. We keep waiting for them to install a cam where we can watch him but they just don't seem to care that Smokey has faithful fans out here who depended on the cams to watch him 24/7. Smokey has done very very funny things to the flowers on the table but it has never been shown or mentioned once on the show. Thank you for asking about us, but we are still here and aren't going anywhere.

Where are Debby, Brenda,Anna, Maria Loi and the other bloggers? Haven't read anything lately. Did the Ellen Show move Smokey to a different place? Miss seeing him. Goggle doesn't have much about him anymore, Dog Pile site has some more.

Hello Debi, Anna, Maria Loi, Brenda Strathern ,Sachi and Patti are you all still e-mailing "The Ellen Show" and asking about Smokey? We need to see more pictures of him and how he is doing. If we stop being nosy,they will forget about him. I'm kind off attached to that cute cat, have many myself, all are spayed or neutered. Wish I knew you, would call sometimes.

Consuela, those cats that you are feeding outside,please have them neutered or spayed. To many homeless cats already every where. If every person would just get the cats fixed, there wouldn't be so many murdered in shelters. I did about 50 cats in my neighborhood. Lots of them lived to be between 16 and 23years old. When they became sick I took them to the vet.I treated them with fluids, antibiotics. Your vet can fax a prescription to an animal company. Look on the internet. You can get everything through the mail. If you have many cats your vet should no mind to help. Ask your friends and neighborsfor donations. If you dont get them fixed it"s going to be more exspensive in the long run. Do it right away.

SMOKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is cool! I like his new set up! on the set! It looks cozier! A room under the stairs! You know those old rooms in older houses under the stairs...kids would play in..kinda like a clubhouse...well now Smokey is a clubber! Hangin out at the Ellen Show!

Nice lighting!!!!...makes it cozier yet! :)

Was wondering how smokey is doing?
Haven't heard anything for a while...is he still there? or hopefully he's been adopted. A wonderful Christmas for him...happy he's being cared for. Thank you.

I am glad the cat still around. I have 3 of my own and it seems like another 3 or 4 who I now
feed in the neighborhood; plus one night I heard a lot of crunching and I'll be darn there was a
racoon eating the cat food I leave outside, he
did not leave looked at me like he was bored and
of course, I was not going to get very close. I also have 6 squirrels that now feed from my assortment of peanuts and nuts; keep feeding
Smokey he seems like a very nice cat.

Whew! It's good, to hear that Smokey is still around. His new digs don't look as classy, as the stage set, but what do cats care, as long as it's a warm place, with food and water:)

Good Morning Smokey family ...

I'm on duty and watching for Smokey on the cams. I will post when I see him.

It's such a good feeling to see him stroll on by! We need his bowls put back on the stage like they were from February through August.

i had to get on here to check on the cat,because i had not heard anyone mention him. its good to hear he is still ok. but know what would be even better? would be to hear someone had adopted old smokey!!!!!!!cant someone there give him a loving home? wouldnt that be a great christmas gift to all of us who care about him? i just wanted to put that out there, it actually upset me alittle,but theres nothing i can do only pray for him. think this over please!!!!!!!
