You’ve got it in one. Coldun’t have put it better.

i'd like for you to please check out about bone marrow donations...it's very important to me because my friends 8 yr old son needs one asap!!people dont realize how easy it is to get on a nationwide registry and could save a life!!!i believe the web site is marrow.org to get more info...thank you!!!

Thanks for sticking up for animals, Ellen! PETA's not always the most popular but you can be sure they do the best job of making a ruckus for animals and that's what we need!

With all the money Ellen makes......well, even just the money from her brand of dog food, I think she ought to donate it! She could give it to a different doggy cause each month. She has plenty of money with which she can be a lot more generous to the greyhounds, shelter dogs, nonkill shelters. Saying how much you love and care for dogs does not excuse anyone from donating time and, if you have it, a dollar. Personally, I think the wealthy ones are the ones who are unwilling to part with either a dime or an hour.

Hi Ellen,

I just sent a lengthy email to your "personal" email acount regarding fund-raising efforts; I see you have a lot of fans that share your passion for animals. I'm open to negotiating where to appropriate (some)funds. I do have an idea and a product in the works for pets, this will help raise funds for those needing assistance with thier humanitarian efforts. www.fraidlives.com register and send people to my website and raise money for your cause. My company profits are shared with St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.

Here's to taking care of those with frayed lives.

With respect,
Tracy Johnson

BTW, did you get a chance to view my grandmothers 100th birthday wish on Youtube?

PETA is awesome but the only problem I have with it is they believe that Pit Bulls should be extinct and only those with a owner are able to live (grandfather clause)

TO EVERYONE HERE WHO HAS PETS SEEMS TO BE ASKING ELLEN FOR MONEY: do this instead===become a member of facebook if you are a rescue shelter. there are a lot of peeps there to help you. but we need "proof" such as pix and a street addy.

OMG this is almost identical to my situation I have been feeding over 40 stray cats and built a room at my house where Ii house another 18. But now I have been unemployed for 11 months and i am having a very hard time trying to buy food for the cats and 5 dogs, I cannot longer get them fixed or treated when sick the vet does not even give me a break, and i have spent thousand of dollars at this vet office during the past 13 years, I wrote to purina to supermarkets, to everyone asking for cat food donation and no one even answers, I have to clean 8 litter boxes twice daily and litter is very expensive not to mention the food and how many kittens have i seen now die because of the weather we been having in Florida and I cannot provide shelter for these cats as i wish i could, i truly need help it is breaking my heart i see racoons running off with the kittens in their mouth and I try to chase them and but i am not lucky most of the time if you know of any company who can donate food, litter and help me get these cats fixed please let me know thanks so much.

Hi

I don't know how to get a question directly to Ellen or her team so I'm posting her with hopes that someone from her team sees this and talks to Ellen about it.

I really hope this comment finds it's way to Ellen for help. Help for the number of homeless cat's that I'm trying so desperately to keep alive in our harsh, freezing, -40 with wind chills winter's where I live in Northern Ontario Canada.

You see I'm so ashamed to have to say that I have wrote to university's and vets and pet food companies asking for donations of food, kitty litter and building supplies for us to build more insulated year round cat homes we can place out and about on the edge of the woods where we live. We used old used lumber and insulation that was thrown away to build a few homes for them so far. In the summer months they loved their homes but the winter is just way to cold for them here and they have become smart enough to move into my garage where I have two heaters running continuously for them to keep them warm.

I'm on a disability and a large chunk of my money is going to just feed them. My hydra bills are huge this winter but I just can't let them suffer. A few of them have colds now and I can't even afford to take them to the vet's for help.

You would think that the vets would help get them fixed for free but NO...nothing...no help to send food or other supplies to help these poor cat's that didn't ask to be born. You would think I was asking for a million dollars or something when I never once asked for money only supplies to be sent to help them.

Ellen I watch your show all the time and love the fact that you love animals and have your own pet food company. I am asking...asking for food not money...food and kitty litter what ever you can help with to help these cats. It won't be long and they will start having babies again and I'll have more mouths to feed. I can't find homes for them because they are wild cats they don't all let me close to them, they just know I'll help to take care of them.

It was so beautiful to watch on mother cat bring her two remaining kittens left alive over to my house...looked up at me...and more less gave me the feeling she was asking me to take care of them..to help keep them alive for her...I did that...one day the mother never came back to see her babies and hasn't been seen in the area at all...the wild must of taken her..her two babies are still with me but one is sick with a cold now due to the harsh winters here.

I would be glad to send you photo's of the cat homes we have built so far...four or five of them..but as I mentioned they are in my garage now during the winter months to keep even warmer.

Please, please think about sending donations of food at least. I would appreciate it very much to even just get a reply one way or another on the topic.

Thank you so much for your time.

Always with respect
