I had a spooktacular week! I spent it scaring my guests for Halloween. I got Taylor Swift and Katie Couric. And Kellie Pickler got so scared that she broke a nail. Wow, blondes are so easy to scare.
Well, most blondes are. I'm impossible to scare. But that hasn't stopped my staff from trying. And failing. This year they tried to scare me while Jimmy Kimmel was here. Luckily, Jimmy came to my rescue.
Also, the talented young actress Gabourey Sidibe from the upcoming movie "Precious" was on the show. Even though it was her first time here, she seemed right at home busting a move. She could not have been more adorable.
Since Halloween is over, I had to think of something else to do to keep busy. So I officially changed the name of November to Dough-vember. And all month I'm gonna give away lots of dough. Not actual dough, I'm gonna give away cash, but Cash-vember didn't sound that great.
And, this weekend ends Daylight Savings Time. Don't forget to set your clocks back, because you're not gonna want to miss a second of next week's shows! I've got so many fantastic guests; the always unpredictable Pamela Anderson, the hilarious Amy Poehler, the super talented Mo'Nique and the one and only Mariah Carey are all stopping by!
Have a great weekend!
Ellen
