Video of the Day: Jeannie's New Cash Car

A couple weeks ago, Ellen introduced her new segment "Cash Clunker" and sent Jeannie across the country in a run down station wagon. GMC saw that and decided Jeannie needed to be driving around the country in style. Watch to see what they want her driving the Golddigger machine in.

Can someone get Jeannie a hair clip? She has a beautiful face worth seeing the whole thing. She keeps looking like Phantom of the Opera - half face; half hair!

How do you make money auto racing legally?

hey Ellen how are you??I am a fan from Asuncion Paraguay,,love your show and wish you always the best!!!

Just wanted to make sure that you cross to Jeannie regularly as she drives to Miami - there's an obvious theme song which should be played each time you do - Will Smith's "Going to Miami".
if you can organise for him to come on and sing it, that'd be even better! ;-)

Hey Ellen, Watched your show when you said people who don't throw their gum away properly annoys you, well, let me tell you what annoys me...when I go out to eat,and I'm sitting there
eating and suddenly out of no where someone starts blowing their nose...how discusting is that at that point, I'm pretty much done with my meal I want to tell thes rude people.....PLEASE EXCUSE YOURSELF TO THE RESTROOM AND DON'T FORGET TO WASH YOUR HANDS WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED!!!!!!Also I wrote you about Jimmie Buffett, I would love, love to have you and Jimmie's day,for a day

Ellen, recently I became widowed. I'm 48 and my Husband was 42, he died this past April. My husband has been unable to work the past 3 years so the finiacial load was on me. In July of 08' I lost my job to corperate downsizing and haven't found a job yet. My husband did file for disability, but unfortunately never lived to see it as I haven't eigther! It's not much, maybe 6,000.00 if I'm lucky. Social Security told me it would take 6-8 weeks and now it is going on 6 months! I live in an old 1968 mobile home that is falling apart and not safe. And my septic is shot. I'm hoping maybe some how you might have some pull and help me out. The snow is on it's way and I haven't any heat except for 1 eden pure space heater. I'm not asking for a handout but a hand up.
Sincerly,

Ellen, I bought your makeup to make me look younger like you, but I don't know how to put it on. No instructions. I have tried it dry and I
wet the sponge tonight. But I look like a ghost.
What am I doing wrong???

I don't know anything about you and your wife..but...this is all new to most..so please still just look like you...the pretty you....no frills needed...just you

i am bumming, i was hoping Ellen would give me the staton wagon. as her clunker is nicer then mine.

Dear Ellen,
Loved the old FORD wagon way better then the new car!!!! The one donated by a company that cries for money from the government every chance they get. I love how they our handing out a car for free that was paid for by "our" money!!!!!!!!!!!

hey Ellen,

I think you should do a show on "single moms trying success". I am a single mother with a full time job at the elvis presley trauma center in memphis, and a full time student trying to pursue a career in nursing. Often times we struglle to do the right thing by our children and neglect our inner self in the process.
Come to memphis and do a show.
I loved the story with Jeannie and the station wagon. That was very nice of GMC to give you all a car. Do you think we can get them to donate a few of the lower priced vehicles to those of us that cannot afford high car payments and school tuition.
Thanks so much, and I truly enjoy your show! Your hilarious and you help me get thru everyday.

SO where is she gonna be in Miami...and how can I enter for a chance to get into the gold digger machine??

Ellen & Jeannie!

WHOOOWHO!!! YEAH! Nice ride! I liked the old ride though too! It had "Personality" LOL I liked the color selection too!!! Yellow (lemon!) Green(lime) I thought to myself... its the lemon car(clunker!) and Green(money! deliverer of good tidings and joy!) The clunker money machine! I thought it was cute!!! But I was worried and concerned.

Now Jeannie can most definately drive in style .. a classier style. The clunker had style!! It did.. its a cute car. If you keep it runnin' ... hey.. what counts is on the inside right! I mean if its cared for... who cares what it looks like on the outside...but memories will last.

I like the GMC ride!!! I like the fact that it has GPS! Its like a mini HIlton HOtel on wheels!!! minus the fridge!!! Is it leather interior???

I like it!! LIKE IT!!!

Jeannie! Enjoy your new ride and drive safe!!! Enjoy Miami when you get there!!!

Hi Ellen

just to let you know that the old FORD stationwagon will take you anwhere that the gmc will accepting a gift from a corporation that cried help were broke and got tax payers money to give themselves a bonus then turn around and give cars away is not being honest to the american tax payers. FORD never got any money from tax payers to keep FORD alive they are smart enough to run there company without begging for tax payers money. The only reason that gmc gave you that car was to try to put FORD to shame, but it did not.It only goes to show what large corporations will do to make the mighty dollar.
Just remember Ellen it was cash for clunkers yuo started with not gmc .

Concerned

Yes Ellen my husband loves the wagon I have no clue why haha He is willing to do anything you want him too for it .I think he deserves it he works 65 hrs a week for me and the kids and he dnt ever ask for nothing and i was laughing my but off at that car and he was like I love it I would do anything for it ...... so do it make him do something wild hahaha .... We love you your just too funny :)
