My name is Jessica im 16 and i have no idea what to write basically to tell you the truth ive never seen your show. im sick today and stayed home n got a text that you were giving tickets to the world series and i just want to opportunity to win. I love the phillies ever since i was born and if i was lucky enough to go to any game world series game it would have to be this one.I aint writing no sob story but the last game i went to with my grand pop was the last game i went with him and the phililies vs the yankees. That just seems amazing. And if anything i can most def prove im the number one fan all you have to do is look at my bedroom. I painted everything by hand n it looks awsome i have three baby blue walls and one one i have the old phillies P in maroon then my back wall is sick i painted it white put red pin striping all across like there jerseys and then I put there Phillies logo on there just like it is on there uniforms. then i just got a bright green rug put in to symbolize the grass at the stadium. I love the philllies i tried becomin a ball grl but u have to b 18. Id give anything to be at that game. Even if it meant watching your show everyday I would become a die heart elen fan if i could just win. Well guess thats it thnxs a million. peace out cub scout...
Hi Ellen. You make me laugh everyday! I love the way you bring joy into so many homes. I am writing to you regarding World Series tickets. My father in law was born and raised in Philly. He now lives in Oklahoma and has for many many years. He is in late 70s and is a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His wife (my mother in law) is in very poor health. She had lung cancer about 8 years ago--just before my husband and I got married. Phil has taken been her primary caretaker as her health has deteriorated over the last few years. He makes so many sacrifices just to help her out. He basically has to stay home to take care of her and therefore misses out on things he'd like to do. He has even had to miss my kids birthday parties because his wife was unable to attend. Phil is one of the most loving, caring men you'll ever meet. He and my husband (Jeff) have a love for the Phillies like you wouldn't believe! It would just make his LIFE if they could attend the World Series to see his Phillies one more time in his life. Last year they looked into it and certainly couldn't afford the tickets or airfare. Please consider Phil and my husband Jeff for tickets to the World Series! I don't know of someone more deserving--and to experience this with his son--what a gift!

I was watching your show today and hear that you were giving away world series tickets and my boyfriend and I are die hard yankees fans. I havent been to a game since i was seven years old, and now since i am 19 and in college and tight on money. My boyfriend Juan is a Marine and just returned from his tour in Iraq just this past April and thankful he came home safely. Anyways he a Yankee fan, born a yankee fan and will die a Yankee fan, as he would say lol. But while Im at school, he is at work, he had left college to serve the country, and is now trying to get back on his feet and is trying to go back to school in time for the spring semester. Ellen, i am deeply apprieative of you, you make my day turn around with smiles and laughter with your humor. I would like to go to the game for my 20th birthday (10/29 lol) as a birthday gift so it can be a birthday to remember.

I am a huge fan of your show and it always makes me feel so much better after a long day. I was watching your show today and saw that you were giving viewers a chance to see their favorite team play in the World Series. I immediately came to my computer because since I was 13 years old I have been a die-hard Yankees fan. I am 19 years old now, a sophomore in college and have still never seen my beloved Yankees win a World Series. I was the statgirl for my high school baseball team for 3 years because I just love the game so much. I have such a passion for the Yankees and the game of baseball that it would mean the world to me if I was actually able to be there to cheer on my boys because I would never be able to go to the games otherwise, since the tickets cost so much and I am a college student. I thank you so much for the opportunity, and thanks for reading my message.

My name is Devin Corcoran, and I'm 16 years old. As far back as I can remember, I've always been a Phillies fan. I remember going to so many games when I was little, and just being so happy sitting in Citizens Bank Park. The Phllies to me are just...I can't really describe them as anything but...AWESOME..yep that's it, awesome. They never find a way to let you down. Sure, we have some rough games, but even in those games our players keep their heads held high, and never give up, how else do you think we made it to the World Series? AGAIN. I love the Phillies so much, that if I was given the choice to go to a Jonas Brothers concert, or a World Series game, I would actually choose the Phillies. And that's pretty big considering I'm a gigantic JoBro fan. BTW I loved the episodes when they were your guests. Anywayyy..Back to the subject. Philadelphia, is just a great city. I've lived here my whole life, and we just have so much heart and pride for our teams. Me being able to go to a World Series game would just be..INCREDIBLE! So thanks for this chance to go to a game Ellen, you are the bestt :)

My husband has been a die hard PHILLIES PHAN since he could walk & talk. We live in Baltimore, but we still drive 2 hours to go to Phillies games. Every year in March we load up the truck & drive to Florida to see Phillies Spring Training. This coming year (2010) my husband got the news that we won't be able to go because we are expected to deliver our TWINS sometime in March. Trust me, he has thought of every possible way to make the trip happen & it just won't. I would love to give him a trip to the WORLD SERIES to see the Phillies. Hopefully that would make up for missing spring training this March! Thanks so much Ellen.

My Phillies are going the World Series...again!!My name is Taylor Gianangelo and I'm fifteen years old. I was born in Philadelphia and I lived there until I was five. In 1999 my parents and I moved to Florida, but I am a total and complete Phillie Phanatic!!! Occasionally my parents and I travel back to Philly to visit our family and to go to a Phillies games. I love everything about Phildelphia and the Phillies! I have stayed loyal to my team even though I'm 1000 miles away!! I never hesitate to wear my Phillies paraphanalia to school where Rays fans shun me!! I make sure that my family members in Philly send me the latest shirts and hats for me to enjoy. It was absolutly incredible to see the Phillies defeat the Rays in the World Series last year, and I'm confident that they can win the pennant again this year!! I love watching the Phillies games on TV, but it would be unbelievable to attend a World Series game in which the Phillies are playing!!

I am writing about my favorite team going to the World Series. I have been a huge Phillies fan since I was a little girl. I can remember going to games with my father and brother at the old Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia. Over the years the Phillies weren't exactly the greatest time in the world, but I stayed with them because they were my team and I just loved everything about them. Last year they went to the World Series and they won. It was an incredible feeling being at the World Series parade in Philadelphia. The Phillies are once again going to the World Series and once again I am trilled. I have not been able to attend any games this year, being that I have been unemployed since last November. So that is my story on my love of the Phillies.

My name is Duane Moore and I have a very loving wife that has had 3 major strokes and 29 mini strokes and I want to ask the biggest favor of you if I can, my wife Susie loves the New York Yankees & she loves Derek Jeter is there anyway that you can get a autograph picture for her it would mean the world to her! She will only watch the Yankees nobody else. I am sure you get all kinds of request like this but there is no way I can find one of him that is autographed . I mean she would be happy with anything of the Yankees.
The last stroke she had was in the year 2003 and she had to learn to speak all over again and I mean she has came along way since then. She still has bad days but they are some what better when the Yankess are playing ball. I was going to try to get her to a game but there is just no way I can do it. So if there is any way possible that you can help me she would love you forever and I as well. I would do anything I could do for her that I could and would do. I would trade places with her in a heartbeat if I could. Can you please help me do this for her? I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much for your time Duane Moore
