Win a Signed Copy of Judy Shepard's "The Meaning of Matthew"

Judy Shepard talked with Ellen about her new book, "The Meaning of Matthew," in which she recounts the days following Matthew's brutal beating and death. It is a story of how she coped with every mother's nightmare, and turned it into an opportunity to prevent further prejudice and intolerance.

I love Toby Keith and love your show!!! But I tried to register to win the Toby Keith CD and it kept telling me I coulnd't it kept saying I have requested tickets to the Ellen Show before and cannot put in multiple requests, but I have never requested tickets ever, nor have I ever registered to win the CD before. I'm confused is there a problem with the web site?? I would love to go to the show but cannot take off work.

Ellen,

I am very disappointed that you would have Toby Keith on your show. Have you listened to the lyrics of some of his songs? The one he performs today makes fun of global warming. He is a racist and a bigot, and I do not think it was a great idea to have him on your show when you stand for such positivity, love, and understanding in the world. This man stands for none of those things.

I attempted to register to win Toby's CD and your system notified me that I had already entered and couldn't enter more than once. I had not entered previously, it was my first time.

I tried again and then it told me that due to multple attempts, I would not qualify.

VERY SAD!!!

toby keith rocked your stage.... i hate that you didn't take the time to talk to him about everything he's doing to make our wonderful country just a little better. he's a fabulous man with a heart of gold. his patriotism is beyond belief! i'm a huge fan and was really hoping for an interview with my big dawg daddy!
i'd love a copy of his cd, please and thank you!

This was an amazingly tragic story, and I hope Matthew Shepard's mother all the best, and that Matthew Rests in Peace. Hate crimes should be stopped, and I wish that the Ellen show allowed Canadians to participate cause I would love one of those bracelets, and a copy of the book. I have been fighting for gay right for a long time and this story makes me so sad.
