She should get an oscar! From what I've seen... she became Precious. I think its an important but yes hard film to see. Those of us that have suffered abuse may be triggered and have a hard time seeing it...so maybe some aren't ready to see it. I don't like abuse. Very negative energy forchizzle!

Watched Oprah yesterday and she was talking to Jermaine Jackson about This is It and Tito? what they thought of the film. I like the part where they referenced Michael perfectionism and him saying, "I'm telling you this with L.O.V.E!" I thought that was cool!!! I think that would be a great way to ... a great thing to say! To be nicer to each other. Michael is so many great things and I feel a great loss but I am greatful for his music still here with us..that I can listen to and appreciate. His music just makes you wanna dance..tap that foot....makes you happy!
I like the way Gabby came out and just broke into dance like she just doesn't care what people think and just busted moves like HERE I AM! Like celebrate LIFE...CELEBRATE LIFE and such great energy from Gabby and she is going to go far! I liked your interview with her and Katie C! Kate too. I hope Kate does find someone eventually that will be good for her and her children! I like the symbolic ring idea as well. I think that is positive!
Possibly with the exception of your own Lauren Pomerantz, Taylor Swift is awesome !! Gonna miss you all for a few months once they call me for my transplant. BOO to hospitals, but YEA to life !

Hi Ellen! What a fantastic interview that you had with Deepak Chopra. How wonderful it is to have a talk show host bring something so positive,so life altering, comfortably inserted with comedy, good clean comedy that nearly everyone can relate to. Ellen, I have enjoyed you in so many things for many years. I would have probably loved Mr. Wrong, but I am not really a Baldwin fan Per se. I did however really enjoy the crazy story line and especially your character, the mules, that crazy wedding dress! That being said I have to tell you, one of my all time favorite movies was.. ED TV Hilarious! I loved everyone in it,and I'm not normally a harrellson fan either really, but I adore Matthew and you and the pineal guy!! I just really enjoyed that film, it was fantastic and you were fantastic in it! and I wish you would do more Movies. But listen, I really do enjoy great cinema, have you seen "The Secret Life of Bees" With Queen Latifah? If you havent you really should! Also Ellen, I hope you get this message before Halloween, because if you, Portia and several fun friends havent seen " Drag Me To Hell" I strongly recommend you watch it on or near Halloween. It has an element of surprise, coupled with a.. huge yuck factor involved with a very phlegmy gypsy and a curse. But I think that it is supposed to be a comedy and I KNOW that you will love it! At one point there is an anvil over the woman's head! it's hilarious, you would appreciate it. Sorry, I got sidetracked but before I go I really have to tell you, that you are the most amazing person/influence in my life and God bless you for it. I live my life actually managing to be one of the most positive people I know. People get a little upset with me about it, but it works for me. Not only am I a single Mom with no formal education, so I work 2 jobs,but I'm self- sufficient. But I can tell you that I honestly cannot and will not complain, because have actually had a Son go to Iraq and Afghanistan 6 times! Trust me FAITH,positive thinking and taking great advice from people like Mr. Chopra and yourself, inspire me greatly. I adore you, I think you are one of the most amazing people in the entire world. If you'd like to talk about someone who I feel really deserves a Nobel Prize, that would be you and you will get one eventually, Ellen you single handedly make the world a better place and May GOD Bless and keep you and yours. I loved your show today! Gabby was wonderful, wish her nothing but the best, also for all of the Kate haters, GET A LIFE! That woman has to feed her children all 8 of them, if she has to do 1,000 interviews so what! unless you're walking in her shoes who are you to be judgmental, regardless of what you think she still has to feed and clothe them, if you were a Mother you would understand that. Just pray that you never find yourself in a situation.

for everyone dissing kate gosselin that's pretty rude to say the least. do you all alwasy believe everything you read? seriously. and how do you even know what's going on for real? half of the things you see on tv or a magazine aren't even true. and of course ellen would have her on her show, she's not like the rest of you narrow minded people. if you really cared about the show you'd still watch no matter who was on. we all have our own opinions here, but respect is something that should be with you always. ellen i love your show and keep doing what you do best. ignore the haters! god bless you all because lord knows you need it

Very disappointed that Ellen felt the need to have Kate Gosselin on her show and give her a forum to sell herself about the fact that she is such a good mother etc...we have heard enough of the Kate and Jon saga, Kate stay out of the magazines,talk shows and take care of your children...We have all given you enough Diva time!

I didn't watch the show today and I'm almost glad I missed it-- my email's homepage had a picture of Kate G. having "opened up"... does anyone really care? I'm really surprised you had her on your show. I thought you knew better than to promote that trash. Sorry Ellen, this may have prompted me to stop watching.

Gabby was WONDERFUL!! What a terrific actress and a well-spoken young lady. Her excitement was contagious - and she embodied her dreams exactly as you did. She choreographed her dance beforehand and her dream to be on your show came true, just as yours did to be on the Oprah cover. I saw a preview of "Precious" and cried through it. I cannot wait to see the movie.
On the other hand...oh, Ellen! How could you? Kate Gosselin has no business being among the guests who have been on your stage. You don't read the tabloids or watch her show, so how would you know? But honestly, catch an episode and compare her to what was on today. She is nothing but a shrill, shrewish conniver. She calculates every move, including how she speaks. Her wobbly, saddened, lowered voice is just a ploy and I am sad to see that you fell for it.

Hi Ellen, LMAO... I had to LOL on that cause she was getting busy. She certainly held it down for the big girls!!! I love it. I am not a fan of the movie Precious but I think Gabby is a wonderful person and I like Monique as well!
