Ellen Sends Andy to the Roller Derby

In her new segment "Legs Go Andy," Ellen sent her staffer Andy Zenor (and his short shorts) to referee a roller derby match. Little did he know he would soon be drafted to a team! Watch to see how Andy did.

Do you have an event coming up and would like Andy to join you? If so, tell us about it!

Dear Ellen

I would like to invite Andy to come to my Karaoke show in Walnut Grove outside of Vancouver Canada.... but on our little black dress night.....I know Andy's legs would fit in with us girls.....and he definately should sing a song......like "I will survive"...the girls will love him......cheers Tara

Hello from Russia!
Can I quote a post "No teme" in your blog with the link to you?

Too bad I missed the episode on TV but seeing the video proves that today's roller derby has grown so much compared to the "television projects" from the recent past.

I'm glad to see"Leggedy Andy" managed well in his "ordeal", and this Massachussetts native says "keep up the good work"!

We had a GREAT time with Andy. Such a great sport getting out there with all us rough chicks and he had a smile on his face the entire time!

Thank you Andy and your crew for coming out to our bout, we all had a kick A$$ time!

Christina

Ellen.......I have sent you a couple of Envelopes about

Dear Ellen,
loved the movie whip it and I live in Austin and yesterday I saw some roller derby girls at the bar so I started talkin' to them about it and decided to try out in November. I cant wait! Just a few questions you might be able to help me out with.. I've been on the website lookin' at pictures and looks like most teams wear skirts! is this a must?? like you, I don't like dresses but I definitely don't like to wear skirts. I haven't worn a skirt since my last holy eucharist in highschool. it was a pleaded skirt. also, andy looks like he could give me a few tips on roller derby. can you hook me up with some lessons? i guess i'll just start skating down my street for now. TXRD girls are nice. yesterday I said to one of the girls, well I need to get some skates! she said.. what size do you wear and I said 10. she said well darn I wear size 9.. I said wel I wore a size 11 in my bball shoes in highschool so i'm going down.. down like she supposed to be, she gets down all over me, down like her temperature just sue me she zero degrees she cold overfreeze i got that girl from overseas now she's my miss american i can not be her soldier please i'm fighting for this girl on that battlefield of love got me look like baby cupid sending arrows from above dont you ever leave the side of me indefinitely not probably and honestly i'm down like the economy. oops sorry every time i say down i can't help but to bust out like weezy and say that little rap. have a good weekend baller!

I think Andy's legs would be great doing the Can-Can dance with some show girls. Maybe vegas and some pretty feathers would spruce him up a little!!

I totally LMAO watching Andy w/The Derby Girls... true tears from my eyes- Ellen you ROCK!

Ellen,

Oh how funny Andy is...I think the girls took it easy on him...Fun show....glad to see that Gladys is doing well and watching...My husband is even getting lots of laughs on his day off....today...Have a great weekend....Love ya!
