It's been 70 years, but "The Wizard of Oz" is still a family favorite. Today Ellen gave everyone in her audience "The Wizard of Oz" 70th Anniversary Ultimate Collector's Edition set on DVD & Blu-ray.

Drew Barrymore stopped by the show to talk about her directorial debut "Whip It." One aspect of filmmaking she loved was choosing the music. She loved it so much, she brought a copy of the soundtrack for everyone!

i tried and tried and tried to bid on dorothy slippers betsy johnson,testoni,botkier but it wont take it im a true true fan of your show and wizard of ozi really want them for my birthday september 14 1958 please help me ellen to bid lov ya girl!

I think it's wonderful to do something special for any fundraiser and I'm one of the first to stand in line with some type of contribution. However since losing my job in 2006 all I've been able to think of is a pair of Ruby Slippers (Going Home). But The bids had already exceeded my pocket book!

Hey Ellen
Just want to say how wonderful your show makes me feel each day. I have a 7yr old sheltie that was just dignosed with a tumor next to his heart so it really touched me when you had on the Ink they do a wonderful job. Also the Wizard of Oz is my all time favorite movie. I have lots of collectables. But I can't seem to get in to bid on the shoes flats size 6. Keep up the great job you do. You make everyone laugh and forget there problems for @ least 1 hr.

I think what you guys are doing is awesome to help these fundraisers. I hope you have alot donated to help I wish I had the money to help you. The Wizard of Oz is the BEST movie of all time.My favorite as well,I used to wear out all the copies my mom had when I was a kid from watching it over and over. GOOD LUCK to all of you!!!
