Ellen, your show is wonderful!!!! Let me share my story (some of it) My partner for 30 yrs this 2011 have adopted 4 siblings, in 2006. The youngest, Chelsea 4 mos, Robbie almost 2 yrs, Rosie 4 yrs.and Ronald 5 yrs.Now they are 5,7,9 & 10 yrs. We have a few jealous neighbor, and (friends) because of two women adopting children, so they call at times to report us to DCS.AS usual, they come,inspect and then nothing becomes of it. BUT, we go soo tired of the call. Nothing we can do about IT!
We had an accident in July of 2008. Chelsea almost drowned in the swimming pool. Robbie unlocked the back door, as well as the pool gate, and Chelsea fell in the pool. I got her out and did CPR, she was rushed to the hosp, then flown to Vanderbilt, where stayed 49 days. We were advised, by a neo. surgeon, to put her in a home, because she was nothing but a vegtable. We'll we then spent 5 weeks at Scottish Rite of Atlants.
After that, we went for hyperbaric treatment in NC. We had 40 dives there, but the insurance didn't pay for it. After 40 dives, she gets her breath with the trac. capped off, she regained 100% hearing back, and she wears glasses. We have had 240 dives since Oct.2008 to June 2010. We are trying to save money for stemm cell transplant.
So many health problems with the kids, too long to list. Our lives have changed since the children, but now after the accident more than ever.
But, what to do with nosy people and jealous ones?
It does get very hard at times, but our 30 yrs together has helped to grow stronger with each other.
We have tried to find organizations that will help our money problems, but Kathy and I, as one, keep our light burning for each other

Hi Ellen,
I need to thank you for having a show that knows how to bring a persons laughter. I am a mother of four kids and expecting another in June 8th and my kids are my blessings. I am going through hard times but live it day by day. I finished schooling for medical insurance billing and coding in Dec 16, 2010 and still haven't got a position in the field. I started to look for jobs in other companies and thankfully I found one but one week into the job my doctor recommended me to stop working do to my pregnancy. Now I'm out of work my income is so low I barely have enough to pay my rent and bills for this 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex. I move around in a 5 passenger car with 5 of us now, I don't know how I'm going to do it but I think I will manage it. I keep telling my kids every time to stay in school even though they are young and try to get a better a future for them selves. I don't want my kids to see these struggles of having so much debt and not having a job. I smile every day telling them everything is going to be okay something good will happen who knows when but we need to have patience. I do need to let you know, thanks to your show and your wonderful sense of humor it also makes my day wonderful.

First of all i just want 2 say how much I enjoy watching your show. My 2 youngest kids Wreign and Seith and I watch every morning that we get a chance. Mean while Randall and Alley the older 2 are at school and Donald my fiance is at work. Seith Wreign and myself dance along with you and everyone on the show.
Just 2 let you know a little about us Randall is 7, Alley is 5, Wreign is 2, Seith is 7 months. Donald works temporaly at a wherehouse and I am a home maker. Donald has recentley graduated from Southeast Lineman Training Center. He is curently looking for employment in that field of work.
We live on his pay checks from week 2 week it is very hard and we are struggling 2 pay our bills and getting things for the kids we already have and the one on the way as well as house hold needs. We have one car. My question is what advice would you give for improvising and money manigment.
It is really tough right now at this of year we cant afford anything for the kids christmas and Donald hasent seen his mother or father in 17 years I would realy like 2 have the kids meet their grandparents so I would like 2 start saving for this but dont know what 2 do or how 2 even start. Donalds parents live all the way in Texas. Any advice would realy help.

Hi Ellen i was woundering can u help me and my family with some beds we all sleeping on the floor i just baught them beds and had to throw them away because of bugs. So me and my family asking u to find it in your heart to help us my back hurts every night i dont no what to do i lost my job because the manager said i didnt smile i feel that was wrong and false. I been out of work sense April 17,2009. I been looking for work every sense please PRAY for my family.

Hi Ellen, I love your show so much. I try not to miss an episode, but you have moved to 16 WAPT @ 12:00 a.m. I try to stay up and watch your show, but I have to be to work at 7:00 a.m. and it's hard to stay awake. I will always keep you in my thoughts when I can't watch you and the whole time I will be smiling because I know that you have said or did something to make your audience laugh. Hi Ellen, congrats on Idol, you'll "rock" we all just know it! I also want to add in our opo you were ripped off you should've won the daytime emmy and everyone knows it, its awesome your a real good sport cause we were mad as heck over it!
