Message from Ellen -- Week of September 14-18

Ellen DeGeneres' American Idol Message!Hi Everyone!

I'm sure you've heard the big news. It's everywhere! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. If you didn't hear it, let me be the first to tell you.

I saved a bunch of money on my car insurance!

Oh, and I also announced this.

That wasn't the only big thing that happened this week. I had so much fun on our season premiere, I got together with the "So You Think You Can Dance" dancers. And they remembered every move I taught them.

On Wednesday, we had the Real Housewives of Atlanta on, and I definitely wasn't tardy to the party. In fact, I had to referee the party.

And as if that weren't enough, on Friday's show, there was more big news. Not literally big. Literally, very small news. Katherine Heigl came by and announced she was adopting a baby.

And if you can believe it, next week is going to be even better. On Monday, Sharon Osbourne comes by to give me some advice about judging. In fact, here's a clip from the future to prove it.

Wednesday, my friend Jennifer Aniston stops by. But that's not all; we also have a huge outdoor concert with the Dave Matthews Band, which will be perfect because it'll give me a chance to even out my farmer's tan.

hello!!! ellen I love your show I watch every day I'm laid-off every time I watch your show you make me laugh when I'm down&out you make my day because the time I'm going though is hard right now and watching you makes every worry go away thank you for coming out with a show you are the best keep doing what you do and I am going to keep watching as long as my t.v. don't go out ha ha ha see you later ellen love ya!!.

Hi Ellen i was woundering can u help me and my family with some beds we all sleeping on the floor i just baught them beds and had to throw them away because of bugs. So me and my family asking u to find it in your heart to help us my back hurts every night i dont no what to do i lost my job because the manager said i didnt smile i feel that was wrong and false. I been out of work sense April 17,2009. I been looking for work every sense please PRAY for my family.

Hi Ellen, I love your show so much. I try not to miss an episode, but you have moved to 16 WAPT @ 12:00 a.m. I try to stay up and watch your show, but I have to be to work at 7:00 a.m. and it's hard to stay awake. I will always keep you in my thoughts when I can't watch you and the whole time I will be smiling because I know that you have said or did something to make your audience laugh. Keep dancing and I will dance with you. HELLO TONY!!!!!!!!!! I love your laughter.

Hi Ellen, congrats on Idol, you'll "rock" we all just know it! I also want to add in our opo you were ripped off you should've won the daytime emmy and everyone knows it, its awesome your a real good sport cause we were mad as heck over it!
I was also wondering if theres any chance you will have Joan Jett and Jenifer Nettles on your show together, I think it would be kool if she came out publicly on your show especially, they make an awesome couple! Best of luck to you always your the best Ellen we love you! God Bless!

you bring so much happiness to so many, my husband has been in hospice care since feb.09. i watch you as often as i can as his needs are my first and only commitment i seem to keep now a days.. please keep the positive laughter a coming.. i am a huge idol fan, i do a fund raiser called "emerald idol" to help injured exercise riders and there famlies while they are unable to work.we would love you to be a judge next summer. ha ha like that could ever happen.wellellen peace and love.... a dedicated fan....diane

9/14/09 Dear Ellen, I am very excited you are the new judge on Idol, now i have a new reason to watch the show. You will add the softer touch with some fun and funnies.I walk 6 miles every day but i make sure i am back by 3:pm ctz on #5 to tune in and watch your show .You inspire folks never stop growing and reaching goals, and always have fun. hi Ellen, i love your show but i live in guatemala,for some reason yours shows that we saw comes from months ago, i try to be on line and see it but is not possible, i dont know why.

Here in central America you have a lot of fans, hope when i make a trip to LA find tickets, congratulations for the best talking show is amazin and you have a extraordinary personality.

I think your awesome and you deserve the best. it will be cool to see you on american idol as a judge. If anyone knows the ropes of the entertainment industry it's you! You know how to take the blows and bounce back! the contestants are lucky to have you as a judge! love your show and miss your old t.v. show from the 90's. is it in syndicate and running on tv land yet????
