Today Ellen featured her personal chef Roberto Martin on the show, and the two cooked up her favorite, Vegan Tacos. They're easy to make, just assemble the following ingredients:
- 1 package Yves Meatless Taco Stuffers or other meat substitute (Bring to simmer with 1/2 cup of water.)
- 1 can refried beans (Heat in saucepan.)
- Salsa:
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup minced red onion
1/2 bunch chopped cilantro
Onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, lime juice, & kosher salt to taste.
- Guacamole:
2 small avacados- Scooped.
Onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, lime juice, & kosher salt to taste.
- Daiya Vegan Cheese (Can be found at Whole Foods and other health food stores)
- Vegan Sour Cream
Assembly: Heat tortilla over open flame and prepare taco (or enjoy in hard shell).
