I think your show is a breath of fresh air,i have just recently been watching your show and it is totally wonderful.you make it that way,always smiling showing love and helping others just being truly genuine.I hope the show is aired for a long time.

I Have a questions for you.
Why is it that when you have your blindfold games, or any other games men are never called up to play. I realize that there are more woman than men but lets make the men look funny too.

hi ellen i just want to tell you that i love to turn your show on every single day because to watch you brings happiness to my day,you are so lively and down to earth and such a difference to watch someone who is not just a show of and up herself,you are always there to please the crowd and even go out to the audience and mingle with them,why dont all the other tv hosts take some lessons from you and chill out,love you ellen and keep up your great work,thank god we have a talk show queen like you

Hi Ellen

Thank you so much for airing the segment with sirdeener walker and her story about her 11 year old son. I lost my loved one on 021408, he hung himself. I have recently joined American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and we need to get the awareness out there and erase the stigma that is attached to suicide.

Hi Ellen, I just wanted thank you for your special message to all the bush fire victims here in Australia, it was such a terrible time in many of our lives back on what we have come to know as Black Saturday (7th Feb 09)
so many lives were lost and i wanted you to know it really means a lot knowing that you care. I’ll never forget it.

Ellen - You ARE the BEST talk show host there has ever been!! I live far far away, in the UP of Michigan, so chances of ever seeing your show live is pretty slim, but it's a dream of mine and I WILL be working towards that in the next year. WISH ME LUCK!!! ALSO - I have to tell you that you seem to be one of the kindest, most fun-loving people I've ever seen and you sure do bring out the sunshine!! For all our sakes, Keep it up!! Hi Ellen,

Just wanted to tell you that I love your show; you are so sweet and funny. I retired a couple of years ago due to my health. So, I sold my house in Alabama and moved to Georgia to be close to my daughter and grandsons. Ok I'll claim my son-in-law as well. I'm not very sure that the retirement life is all that great. Seem's like ever since I retired if one thing was going to go wrong everything has. Example: Made 1 mortgage and the hall toilet flooded parts of the house. But you always make me laugh; so for at least one hour a day whatever may be going on is forgotten.

Your the best; keep bringing joy to everyone who watches your show.

Gee Ellen, you sure are pretty! Did you happen to blink at an inappropriate moment on your show today? Or did I just imagine it?? Sometimes, I get so distracted by the horseflies that torture my open sores. Did I tell you how much I love you? What do you look like in person? Don't try and tell me! First, let me explain, my second cousin, (three times removed--for drinking I think), is in serious debt and even at the age of 89, still aspires to run a marathon. If only we could get the money she so desperately needs for the prosthesis!! Although, I think she would be content to be on your show? Oh yeah, you are the absolute funniest person of all the people in my neighborhood! You show, girl!! It is after 5PM so I know you are off work and have the time to reply. I'm going to stay off the phone all night, so noooooo excuses, Ellen (the most intelligent talk show host ever!!).

Hi Ellen -- I look forward to watching your show everynight after the kids go to bed and I get to have "my" time.

However, I was distracted during your monologue today by what looked like to be a spot on your sweater.

I found myself analyzing it and trying to decide if it was part of the sweater or if there was a "spill" that went unnoticed before show time.
I was so deep in thought about it that I missed the monologue and some of the dance.

It was at that point that I realized a drink or 2 would probably do me alot of good.
Talk about needing to chill out and sweating small stuff. Geez...
I need a vacation!! :)

I enjoyed the show today with the mom who lost her son to bullying. I'm reading through all of these commenets and reflecting on what you said at the end of the segment. If "most" of the people in this country could be as positive and kind to others as they have been to you, we would truly have less violence and pain.

Hey Ellen :)
I just watched your show about earth day on tv and it was good :) Well, all your shows are but that wasn't my point :)
As I was watching I was drinking gatorade.
Well y ou said the three R's are Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Well gatorade has three R's also! :)
On their bottles their R's are Rehydrate, Replenish, Refuel! :)
I just thought that was a fun fact I'd like to share with you :)
