It's not o.k. to make jokes about gays? I say it's not o.k to make jokes about people suffering from schizophrenia. Many families watch their loved ones suffer and some of them commit suicide. You speak out to gays, but taunt the mentally ill.
You should know better.

Dear Ellen, am writing to you all the way from Kumasi, one of the capital cities in Ghana.I really enjoy your show but it's so unfortunate i always get 2 watch shows way as back as 3months. recently i watch ur show where this guy balanced things on his head.i laughed when u said that was a talent because where i am people can balance lot of things on their head and even hold others in both hands.I wish i could be in your audience one day.I wish you success and all the happiness you wish for in life.
kisses n hugs from Ghana.
love maame
Hi Ellen. I am an aging lesbian, looking for a site to help me find other aging lesbians. It's not so easy to find women around my age, 57, without going to bars. I have been sober for almost 8 yrs, 6 mos, and 26 days. Hard for me to go to bars, besides, they are so full of so many young people. perhaps you could suggest some sites for me here in the midwest, St. Louis, MO. Hope you and Portia are having a wonderful summer off work, and enjoying each others company to the fullest. You never realize what you had until you lose it. I know...
Always,
Gwen
Just saw a commercial where Ellen states that outer beauty is more important than inner beauty.Wonder what teenagers with a cleft lip, burn victims, weight issues or someone going through cancer treatment thinks about such STUPID statement. You are a sad part of North American culture. Ross..

Dear Ellen & Team,
I’ve wanted to work in the Media/Entertainment industry for as long as I can remember, however it’s almost impossible here in Sydney, Australia. Do you have any jobs available on your show? I’d luv to be apart of your team and if not do you have any advice on where to start?
Thanks for your time
P.S I’d be willing to relocate to LA
Regards
Brooke Johnson

Hi Ellen,
Saw you on,'So You Think You Can Dance'last night.Ellen, you looked tanned and relaxed.
The dance about the cancer patient, that was emotional and had me in tears.(Great work from the dancers)
(To me,)Dance is a unique sport on,where the human body moves in a directions only where the heart and mind tells it to go.
I'll write ya,later.
Ellen,Portia and Mama,I Love you and BIG HUGS. And,stay healthy.
Michele

Good Day Ellen,
I don't know how to ask this other than to be straight forward.I have a niece that is a Downs Syndrome and a very wonderful person and a couple of months ago she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given four months to live,my sister is a single woman with very little means for finances and she is also taking care of her only grandchild who is two years old.she had just purchased a house a few months before receiving the news of her daughters illness and her daughter was so happy to have her own room and for them to have their own house and I just hurt to know that not only is she loosing her daughter but also everything they together strived to have. I know we can't save her but if their is anything or any place that you could refer me to to help keep my sister from drowning and my niece from worrying about her mom especially after she said Auntie I don't like seeing my mommah cry.
