My wife an I love your show! You are almost as funny as me! Funnier according to my wife!
Here's my problem. I love my wife dearly and our 20th anniversary is coming up August 5th and and I want to take her on a special trip somewhere but due to the slump in the economy my work as a freelance graphic art has really taken a hit. I don't want to let her down can you help me out? I know it would thrill her if she knew you were involved somehow.

Dear Ellen,
I love your show! You can make me laugh and cry. You are truly one of the gentlest soul on t.v.today. I know that people ask for your help all the time. But, I am asking you for help for my grandchildren. Alexander is 5, and Charlotte is 3 years old. They are both Autistic, and beautiful children. I am on S.S. and live next to my son, daughter in law, and my special babies. Ellen they need beds desperatly! My son works but as with many people he makes very little. I watch them worry about getting the kids what they need and it breaks my heart. I help as much as I can, but monetaraly there isn't much I can do. We wash their clothes out by hand so they have clean clothes for school.
It's not an easy thing to ask for help, but you are so sweet and you don't pretend to care about people, you can see the joy in your face and eyes when you help people. Thank you Ellen and God bless you and Portia. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I am a big fan of your's.I was so beside myself to see that California's Prop 8 did not pass. Prop 102 in the state of Arizona, did not pass as while. Please Ellen, do not let this issue die, your voice is important to all.

I want say first of all I love you, and GOD loves you.. I know you must be disappointed about Prop 8. But let me explain the problem. Marriage is a religious institution defined by GOD. As between a male and a female.
Here is one scripture which appears in the book of Mark chapter 10. If also appears in the book of Mathew chapter 19, Jesus is speaking
Mark 10
6: But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
7: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;
8: And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.
9: What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
The scripture actually states that GOD created us male and female for this purpose, Marriage. You may think that it is discrimination; denial of rights but the Creator, Originator, Author has defined it. The definition has been set for all time and is not up for re-definition by any group. Those who believe in GOD will never allow Marriage to be re-defined. This would be asking them to stand against GOD. At least respect the believers religious rights.
What you should know is that regardless of what you think or believe, if it is contrary to GOD, the creator of right, it must be wrong. We know that what you think or believe can be changed; this is how non-believers become believers. and is true not just for marriage but for any subject where a belief is contrary to GOD’s plan.
Romans:10:17: So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Hearing the word of GOD transforms belief, simply read the scriptures, say them aloud, play a recording of them.. start with the New Testament, Mathew, Mark Luke or John.

Hi Ellen,
It's Natasha again. Your Canadian fan. Again, my sister & I love your show we try to watch it everyday. I ask this question again as I never rec'd a response last time. Do you ever plan on coming over to Canada, perhaps Toronto to do a show you have tons of fans here? Also why is it that we, Canadians, can't enter your online contest?
