My mother is your biggest fan! I am a 22 yr old mother struggling to get through college and I was wondering if it was possible for you to give my mother just a 2-3 minute phone call...it would mean the world to her! I can barely afford my college textbooks this year,let alone christmas presents for my family. Even if you just said Have a Merry Christmas Gayle, should would remember it FOREVER. That I believe, is what Christmas should be all about.

I am writing for the young girl bi whose mother has no headstone...I know this girl personally, and to ask for a headstone for her mother is something special...there is a lot more she needs but for her that is the most important...she is a young mother of 3 and a good mother, struggles like everyone else but her wish is for a headstone. Please Ellen give her mom the headstone she deserves...For me before i die i just want to run throgh a field of flowers.

There have been so many challenges In My Life that I don't even now Where To Begin To Tell U how Much PICKING ME! Is Vital To RESCUING My Hope AND ZEST 4LIFE lol :) Well The Only way to explain Is to give a brief Overview, I guess: My Brother Passed away Jan 2004 & My husband and I pulled into What little money we HAD SAVED 4 a small Wedding So we could help towards His Arangements. A couple Of Months Latter My Mom Passed On my Birthday & AS A RESULT oF a COUPLE oF MONTHS prior I had no funds to contribute,Just Her wishies For bureal Garments :( Bcause ALL This Had happened, Of course the Wedding Was PUSHED BACK! We Finally DID get married In 06' @the Downtown CourtHouse With ONLY HIS family Present... Yes My Life as Been a struggle Even as a 8yr old Child going up & down The hills Of Seldon Long Island N.y frm 5am-7pm CANNING(Picking Up Cans & cash them in @the local Supermarket for Money)Just so the GREAT single mom That I HAD, Could Put a HOT MEAL On the table for me... I Ms.Ellen Am Not looking for me Or my kids Though as U know Times R hard and WE TOO have little In our Cupboards. I am Askng For my MOMMY. Who Is currently Burried In a Cemetary in Long Island With No HEADSTONE to mark The AWESOME MOM, GRANDMA,FRIEND That Lay there. This women Gave SOO MUCH Of Her time To Different Ministrys & Organizations...never looking 4 a return. Another year Now going on 5yrs THIS Nov. Where When it snow's in winter WITH No MARKER PeopMust PASS Right over as If NOONE Is Burried there, This SADENS My HEART GREATLY ALONG WITH MISSING HER & BROTHER. Latley i'VE BEEN sERVERLY depressed AND dOING something FINALLY 4 My MOM AFTER SO MUCH SHE as GIVIN TO ME! Would B a Blessing BEYOND MESSURE! hi Ellen,love your show and try to watch it whwnever i can. I think it is wonderfull that you are helping people out in this hard time we are all having.I think it would be nice if you started a fund for the truely homeless people who reley on the food banks and for the missions so they can eat. I went to your show and waited to get in witheveryone else and if at every show we all donated a dollar or two, since the tickets to get in are free,we could get enough to by food and meals for them.I was really saddened that at Thanksgiving they ran out of food like turkey and filling,and at least had pies left. .Anyway we all to stop and think that no matter how bad it gets for us their is always some worse off than we are.

I take care of Judi she has a seizure disorder and just had stints placed in her liver our truck is leaking fumes nd I have hairline fractures in my back so I have to fix it we have no money to pay someone else and The INSPECTION is up at end of month PLEASE HELP we live on 600. month we just started getting 4 months now and my unemployment ran out and with my condition I can't work for someone no one will hire a cripple that has no hope Judi is what I worry about she getts stressed and that triggers seizures and if she has one with the stints I'm affraid it could kill her we have no hope we are so far behind in lot rent we are going to loose our home I did manage to pay taxes but we can't fix the truck and I can't drive her to doctors without it PLEASE HELP US I'LL PAY YOU BACK is any one even going to read this? I don't even like talking about this mess everyone is in. It's awful. I sold my car to my son June 26th, 2009 because I haven't found work since November 2008. It was either let them repossess it, or let my son pay it off. That worked great for him. I only owed $ 694.00 and he needed a car bad. But now I apply online. I walk to the store. I eat only because my mom gets food stamps. And as soon as I'm through with this,I'm organizing 90% of my clothes. My friend said a consignment shop will buy them. Best of luck to everyone. Now I'm just very sad about Michael Jackson. I liked him very much and I am so sad about the whole thing.
Hi Ellen. While my family could really use a helping hand with finances, I'm actually writing this for my mom. She is TRYING to go through Chapter 7 bankruptcy and foreclosure. The lawyers keep putting off her case for the bankruptcy and she has decided to surrender her house to the bank. She's so far in debt it's scary. She's a 68 year old widower and has nothing left money wise. I know a lot of it is her own doing, but she still tries to help her family out in whatever way she can (for instance if I am running low on funds and she just got a check she will lend me enough to get food or gas until my husband gets paid)! She isn't a bad person, but she has become a bit hard over the years because her life has been a bit rough. She could use a HUGE helping hand right now. I have no idea how to help her out of her finacial crisis. HELP.

HELP - amazing daughter who put herself thru college by working 3 jobs and no help (couldnt if I tried) lol plus -she wouldnt let me - and then got a masters degree who now is looking for a PAYING job -needs better car the one i got her sucks and or cash for a new one. she currently is interning so if your ever in Kansas City plz consider her!! Hi Ellen , We think that it is wonderful how help people in need .You are just a very caring and loving person who loves to help in anyway that you can . I read one mail from a person who was I felt, kind of picking on us that are having hard times as she is having a hard time too. She is able to get herself out of the hole , I am happy for her . That isnt always the case for alot of us.
My husband and I have been out of work since (him) January, ( me ) Since Febuary.
Right now we are living on unemployment, something that we have never had to do, or wanted to do.
We have falling behind on everything , We look for work daily, nothing yet.
We have never asked anyone for anything , we always try to help others in need too.
But We at this time in our lives would be happy to see the Stimulus Package or Gold Digger at our door.

I really admire your sense of humor and most importantly, your sense of compassion and caring.
I saw your show today with the "gold digger" stimulus package. I think the thought is awesome. Myfamily really can relate to the struggles that are out there. My husband has been without a job since May 29, 2009. I realize that really is not a very long time but ... when we have four adorable children, age 13, 11, 8, and 5 1/2, and one of the children is diagnosis with Autism and a medical condition, Celiac Disease,it is difficult to make the budget stretch on the $327.00 that I make every two weeks. With school beginning in a month, the school supplies will not be designer. Believe me, my husband is trying his best to find a job but there are not the jobs out there. Then, we woke up one morning and went from two dogs to eight! The puppies are so cute. We have found good homes for some of them and have chose to keep four. They go through the dog food but that is okay because they are a part of the family! But it is the people like you that make us laugh and put a smile on our face and give us a sense to keep going. Thanks for giving and caring so much.
