Ellen, your video for the PETCO FOUNDATION was enjoyed and appreciated at the Gala for their 10th Anniversary.
Also, the gift you offered for the silent auction was a great incentive for many to buy tickets [including myself].
I didn't win, but felt like a winner anyway just to see your video and to know how many attending cared about animals and cared about you.
I know you get the joy to have the opportunity to help people and animals. I wish you continued joy.

Petco Foundation: I was there at the event Saturday evening and viewed your video with the live audience. The ball idea was great. It was received at the Gala right after you tossed it by Paul Jolly Director of Petco Foundation. $50 million is a lot, however just a drop in the bucket for the costs needed to help these animals. Susan who is the National Adoptions coordinator/rescue lead is my sister and I couldn't be more proud of the work this small group of people in the foundation do. People rallied to win your show ticket prize and I did not want to give it over to them, because you are the best and I wanted to keep them for Susan and I. Thank you for your kind words and maybe next year you can come and visit us live. Take care of that cough.

Just wanted to know why you cut your hair so short? I think is looked better a little longer. Anyway I love your show. You really make me laugh. I love that you do alot of good helping people. I just don't like your hair so short it makes your face look to long.

Its been a good day. A few mean drivers but for the most part... SMOOTH Sailing! Everyone is nice today that I've seen. A few complaints at places I've been today mostly about the state and the government! Who else is there really!.. the prez and of course other countries... well.. maybe them too.. but I just smiled and drank my water! Someone offered me that crystal light stuff and they were all excited about it and said.. it taste really good you just add it to your water. I said.. that's nice of you I appreciate it .. but really I just want water. I don't drink .. trying not to eat anything with yellow 5 or red 40... any color or number additives in stuff. Trying to be healthy. I saw it on the Docs! Do you watch that show? Well its really good but thank you. Then I looked down at his coke and made the comment that I don't even drink softdrinks. Then I said I see you have a need for a shuttle driver. I CAN DO THAT!!! Apparently someone needed shuttled!!! LOL and the guy that could do it didn't want overtime. I'll do IT!!! Hire me now!!! I was thinking. So I'm going next week on Tuesday and I'll go in everyday until they are tired of seeing me .. how I got my primary job!!! and hopefully.. I'll get hired!!!!
So then a customer came up to the desk and I walked away and got my free cold water in plastic bottle of which I said to myself.. I'm recycling this when I get home!!!! Then I'm home and the news is talking about Folk Life Festival here in Seattle at the Space needle area every year. Its really cool. That's where I got my henna tattoo one year of a SNAKE on my arm!!! They were talking about BPH levels from drinking out of plastic bottle.. so I think I've been BPH'd :(
Oprah had "Where the Skype are you?" Catchy! Fry's sales insert mentions a phone you can skype with!!! Think of all the skyping fun you could have!!!!! I went to Brown Bear car wash and thought.. if I had a skype phone I could skype my car wash in real time!!!! LOL

I am so angry! On every show I've watched since Amer. idol's show is promiting the runner up Lambert. on their show? Kris Allen won............... that. Their was no tampering!!!! For God's sake let it be known and talk to the winner. We all voted for him, because he is the most talented. Let that Adam guy stand back in second place where he belongs. Maybe because he is so loud and more experienced and stands out he make for better news? I watch your show everyday and record when i can't watch. I believe i deserve a say! I love you Ellen and believe you above anyone is fair. So come on Ellen give Kris a break! Love, Jean

I love the positive message of your show! It brings me a smile every day.
I want to share something that is not much but brings joy to my everyday life.
For years I have made a conscious decision to show appreciation to everyone I come in contact with. For example: Whenever I am waited on by say, a gas attendant, grocery store clerk, or anyone, I look them in the eye and say sincere pleases and thank yous. It humanizes the every day processes and interactions. It often amazes me how seemingly surprised and pleased they are by this simplest of actions and it (perhaps selfishly)makes me feel good too.
We all share this earth and everyone has value and should be valued.
I realize, my actions are neither heroic nor challenging. However, I feel this simplest of actions put good energy out there and can hopefully add a tiny bit of pleasure to people who are often treated as non-existant.
Being polite and sincerely appreciative has brought so much to my life. It is also the easiest thing in the world to do! It takes little to no effort but, in my experience brings so much.
Please forgive my diatribe. The only thing I hope for is that you can share this message. (or whatever version you see fit) That message is: Be kind, respectful, and appreciative, and your life will be more full.
