I can't not believe you gave her the nair power shower....that was toooooooooo funny. I really think you were not expecting here giving you a gift but hey it's the thought that counts huh.

PS. I would love to be on your show I just love people and I think the people would love me..so ya have your people call my people
Good Day Ellen,
I was unable to watch your show today but I have read the comments that has been posted to your blog...I would like to say to all of the bloggers who said that you did not invite Mrs. McCain or Mrs. Sarah Palin you do not know if she has invited the ladies to her show just because she does not have them in the line up for this week does not mean she does not have them line up for later on in the season...If you do not like the way she is handling her show you could always read a book during that time....
Ellen- I am disappointed that you brought up Sarah Palin's daughter and just as disappointed that Michelle Obama did not congratulate you on your wedding. Did you notice how she would only offer congratulations on the new studio and not your marriage?
Hi Ellen,
First of all, congratulations to both you and Portia on your marriage - my husband and I couldn't be happier for you both!!
Next, I absolutely love your show. I watch every morning before going to work and it is a great way to start my day. My husband watches what he can of it before he goes to work and enjoys it - it's so nice to see him leave with a smile.
Congrats on your first show of the season!! I think you couldn't have had better guests. I bet you can't wait to look back after the election and feel great about having the new First Lady on your show.
All the best to you and Portia and I look forward to watching your new season.
You're the BEST!! Take care of yourself and each other.

Ellen,
I enjoyed your show today with Michelle Obama. I think she has charisma in charactor, but I think she should bring her hem line down (just a tad) while representing public service of such great extent. Too much skin may create:
(1) Temptation from the devil (outside interests)
(2) Accusation from the Whitehouse (the spouse)
(3) speculations from the public (media)
(4) Devastation in leadership (thus we all suffer)
Signed: Betsy
Luckily we see you on ABC. . .yea - no tennis today! How wonderful the new season has begun. It's like our favorite relative coming back from vacation. We've missed new shows! Great start - Michelle Obama, our next First Lady.
Congratulations to You and Portia!!! Couldn't be happier for you both. Have you started sounding alike on the phone yet? That's what our friends tell us after 14 yrs.
Thank you for YOU. . .keep dancing, keeping laughing!
We Love You!!!

Great show Ellen. Palin's handlers are the ones who decided she's not ready for prime time-how much you want to bet she never faces Tom Brokaw on Meet the Press? The Republcian right believes birth control is a form of abortion and should be illegal. I'm old enough to remember when women's lives were controlled by their reproductive systems. If women realized what was in store for them from a Palin presidency, they would be out marching in the streets, just the way we did forty short years ago. And men will love being locked out of the bedroom by her abstinence only rule.
To the person who is boycotting Oprah for not having Sarah Palin on - check your facts. While she is campaigning for Obama she will not have him or any candidate on her show before the election. She has stated that her show will not be a political platform. Stop listening to all the pundits on both sides and check your facts.
Seems to me there are some grumpy people commenting today. You've had McCain on and Obama. I don't know what they're problem is! I caught most of the show and the part where Palin's daughter was mentioned and I thought it was handled well. I love you, Ellen, and if I were you, I wouldn't pay any attention to all the sour pusses!
Tried to watch your show a couple times...because I admire the fact that you still exhibit a sweetness and humanity that is extremely admirable, in light of what you've been through. But your show is just too womanish for me. Anyway, keep up the good work. Michelle and you and your audience have a lot in common. That's the big difference that America needs to get.
Everyone should get over the fact Ellen had Mrs. Obama on the show. McCain was already on the show. Who cares about McCain anyways? NOT ME!!
I missed todays show because of tennis playing here in Atlanta :O( Hopefully that business won't continue all week!
dear ellen.......saw an ad for your show last week.....was so excited because I didn't get to see you at all last year because you were on in the morning here....so after work I came home and you were "interviewing" michelle obama. I was disappointed that you chose to not even give Mr. McCain the fairness and respect he so richly deserves. And Sarah Palin will be a MUCH NEEDED breath of fresh air for the White House. I will not be watching your show because you are being very unfair to us all!!! Interview Mr McCain and Mrs. Palin just like you did michelle and I might change my mind. Please from now on stick to what you do well.....being funny!!! No politics!!!!
Caught your show today with Michelle Obama and I thought it was terrific. Sorry to see that some of your viewers got so political with their comments below. She certainly is a lovely "lady".
The only way I would watch Sarah Palin on your show is if you wore mukluks and showed us how you caught the bear that you would have to drape over the back of your couch!
Thanks for a great show and good luck with your new digs!
Needless to say I am a little TICKED OFF...well not a little A LOT TICKED OFF..
After waiting all summer for the show to come back....My local station here in the Central Valley of California is showing tennis...They had all weekend to do this but no...today of all days...
I sure hope I can see your show tomorrow....
Hope your 1st show of your sixth season was super.....
I will be watching tomorrow....
As a gay woman I used to look up to you, I thought you were a fair mined individual. You should have kept your mouth shut about Palin's kids. Ellen that was really crapy of you; for a woman who respects the rights of animals and not to kill them or harm them, it doesn't look like you have a problem killing the unborn. YOU are a hypocrite! You just lost a fan.
We all have to look at more then our own intrests in this election year. I am I do not believe that Obama is the best candidate for the job.
Ellen,
I really enjoy your show and think that some of your viewers are so silly. I would think that people would not boycott your show because you had Michelle Obama on. She is a delightful person and I do believe that some of the people who are voicing discontentment for her appearance on your show are themselves racists and want to find a reason to criticize her.

First of all..Congratulations on your Wedding!!!
I loved your show today and I'm happy the New Season is here!! I am also glad to see Tony back!!!!.
Ellen, You are a fantastic, caring, giving, person inside and out!
So, are you as sick as I am of all the political crap? Who you can or cannot have on the show? What you can or cannot say? The last time I checked, I was living in America where everyone is entitled to their opinion and their right to voice it.
Who you vote for, in that little booth, is a private choice no matter who you have on your show or what you talk about.
Where is the intelligence and maturity in this Country????
I Love You and Your Show and I'll Keep Watching!!!
