Ellen I wanted you to know that I really enjoy your show it brings a smile on my face and makes me laugh when I see you dance. I forget about my problems when I watch your show.
I lost my house and to top it off I got laid off on November 21st and its been really hard for me and my family. I'm really worried when Christmas comes and the kids are only going to get one gift. My heart breaks. I live in Florida and the job market is bad. I pray to god that things get better :).
I really wish the best for you and your family on Christmas and a Happy New Year.

i dont explain myself very well. but like i came from my culture i only liked the 'cute and sweet' type. then came here ppl r totally different type that i've never imagined....... so i was overly curious....... about those 'body' i never saw in my life before.......
but now it's like.... i'm over them...... they r not 'novelty' anymore......... so there's like, i dont like no more..... like how u feel after eating too much..... when u see food again u just wanna run away........... i think that's how it's for me now.....

I came here to show my kids the dog house that Obama's kids will have for their dog...but to see all this pro-Palin talk...yikes! Palin is a dangerous moron. And any pandering she does to her under educated and under informed base is such a sad attempt to make her look relevant. Sarah is not smart enough to run a PTA meeting, let alone MY country. I can not for the life of me see anything positive about her. Her hate filled, divisive, outragious, pandering lie filled rallys she attends are like watching starving dogs being fed for the first time in years. Scary. I am so glad to have America respected again by tomorrow morning!! Ellen probably does not want Palin on her show because she is unintersting when she is not screaming for hate.

Where does everybody get off EXPECTING Ellen to have this person or that person on HER show? And if she doesn't she is biased or something...
Where do people get off being disappointed that she said something or didn't say something to a guest. Jeez, it's HER show and she is who she is, which is very cool BTW, and just enjoy it for heaven sakes. I'm not saying we can't suggest guests, but EXPECTING Ellen to invite people... well ...get your own show and then YOU can have them as guests, how's that!!!?
And Ellen: I am so jealous you got a hug and a kiss from Barack Obama!!! Way to go!!!! Loved the dance he did!!!
The majority of comments seem to indicate that Ellens choice of words and actions regarding Sarah Palin were not in very good taste for a national entertainer. People will always agree to disagree but to openly express your own personal political preferences showed a lack of character and maturity on the part of Ellen.
Ellen I really hope that you would invite Pallin over for an interview I'm dying to see what she has to say regarding the real issues that we face everyday not the mom point of view, but the vp that could be president God forbide one day, i would like to know her views on the UN our allies that's if she knows about any issues that this country have to face with outsiders. thanks and know I don't think she could be a great vp
Ellen, I hope that you will have Sarah Palin on you show soon. She would make a great VP and certainly deserves to be interviewed by the best! Looking forward to seeing her on your show.
If Ellen is going to have Michelle Obama on her show then she should have Cindy McCain. Cindy McCain has done a huge amount of charity work for many, many years and no one in the media talks about it. While she was visiting Bangladesh several years ago, Cindy McCain was asked by Mother Teresa to take home a baby who needed a great deal of medical attention. Cindy did not consult her husband; she just took the little girl home. The child was immediately taken into the McCain family and has had several surgeries over the years. Their story brought me to tears. Of course, Cindy McC. is too much of a lady to brag about her accomplishments. She is warm and caring and there is no logical reason Ellen should not have her on. Unless it is her political bias. If Ellen is really trying to promote Obama, as I suspect she is, then Cindy McCain is not someone she would want to introduce to her audience.
Ellen, I couldn't help but notice, as did many other views, that Michelle Oboma could not bring herself to congratulate you on your wedding. She gave you a gift and made it clear that it was a studio warming gift (not a wedding gift). How can you promot the Oboma campaine, when our basic civil rights are not supported by them? I am concerned about our future civil rights, as I live in a state that still does not allow gay marriage. Have you given up on the rest of us because your state has won this basic human right, and are we left to fight this battle without you? I am disappointed in Mrs. Oboma. To be honest, I am kind of disappointed in you also, because you have not addressed this issue (her refusal to acknowledge your marriage). You noticed her lack of acknowledgement toward your marriage, but you haven't said anything, and we, your supporters, are waiting for you to respond. And please don't later defend her on this issue, (like the media always seems to defends her husband and comes to his rescue) her dismissal of your marriage was obvious and deliberate. Are you going to have Sarah Palin on your show? I'd like to know her view of gay marriage (I think she would probably say it like it is, and that I can respect). If you do have her on, are you going to show her support, or try to discredit her as so many in the media have already done. Or are you going to do what Oprah has done, and refuse to celebrate this woman with the rest of us? You opened the door to making the show political this season, and you can't close it now. Thanks Ellen, I am looking forward to your responce to this issue, please don't ignore it. And by the way, congratulations on your wedding.

People, please be mature and limit your responses to how wonderful a job Ellen does (no matter who she interviews) and not about your own political agendas or views. Tell it to someone who cares. I am here for one reason to watch Ellen and laugh my arse off! So please don't bring me down with your opinions...p.s. if you don't like what you see turn off the t.v. and pick-up a book...you may just learn something about politeness and tact (of which you obviously know nothing about)!
