Ellen, we love your show but am sick and tired of hearing you talk about you drinking alcohol. If you have a problem please go to AA. This mention of alcohol is not good for all the people that watch your show and are have a drinking problem. Please STOP!!!

Hi, Ellen. I just want to tell you what a great show you have. I don't get to watch every day, but when I do, I love it. Today's was especially hysterical! The whistle contest was just too funny. My husband and I both were doubled over laughing and holding our stomachs! Thanks for adding such good humor to our lives in these hard tims! By the way, I am from Denver and I think what the station here did to Ernie was horrible! I was glad to see him back. He was just "not on" anymore and now we know what happened. We wish him the best!

Hi Ellen, I love your show and I've been watching it since the 1st show. I was watching today 1/28/09,and I remembered you talking to a man about how he lost his job in TV and that he was now a nurse ans looking for a job in a hospital. You said that if someone could give him a job in a hospital , you would give them a years supply of dog food from your comp. What I was wondering is what was this mans name? I have a bad memory sometimes. The story was one that I wanted my husband to hear, he's in radio and the whole thing about so many losing their jobs is scary. My husband just got the one part time job last Aug, as a weekend overnight at a radio station 100 miles away from home. He was working in food for years and his dream was to become a DJ. I wanted him to hear this man's story. I just cannot remember his name. Please help me with this if you can. Thank you Take care, Joanne

Had to comment on Claudia's comment today.....Ted Danson is great, love him.
I've never seen the Bonnie Hunt Show, nor do I care to. But there's no doubt in my mind that she is NOT funnier than Ellen. That was so rude. So what she might not have seen you Claudia, that doesn't mean she is not friendly!

Hi Ellen!
My name is Mandy and I live in Adelaide, South Australia. I really love watching your show when I happen to have a day off work (unfortunately this doesn't happen often enough!!).
Thought you may like to share with your viewers that while you are all freezing through your winter, we here in the land down under are sweltering!!! Yesterday here in Adelaide we reached a high temp of 45.7 degrees celcius (in the shade, about 55-60 in the sun!), which was the highest recorded temperature in 70 years. They say we will probably beat that today.
Anyway, just wanted to let you know you have a lot of fans here in Australia also and we would love to see you tape a show here sometime!

Hi Ellen,

I had to write and tell you about a game my family plays when we are having a baby or a bridal shower.

Things you need--- blindfolds (2)
snapping clothes pins (Awhole bunch)
People to hold the clothes pins (2)

Blindfold the two people and have them put one hand behind their back. Have the other two people keep the containers with the clothes pins in them close to the people in the blindfolds. Start timing them. They have to pin the clothes pin on the other blindfolded person without touching them and they can only use one hand. We have had so much fun with this. I know you will love it once you try it.
