I like watching your tv show Ellen because you give people everyday smiles and laughs. You are a good entertainer that is why people loves to follow your shows on weekdays. However, sometimes stress do come to me everytime I think of my disability. I have an inborn hip dysplacia on my left. It bothers me now and in the future because I know right now my left leg is smaller than my right leg. I dont ever know what is gonna happen someday if I dont get it fix. I am not working because it is getting painful just by sitting down or standing up for a long time. I can hardly sleep at nights because of the pain. I am living everyday with pain. I cannot afford a surgery coz my husband's income isnt enough to cover the expenses. So I just told myself to just live in pain physically than living in a life where we have big debts to think that it stresses me out mentally. Well, anyway, if you read this Ellen I am already happy.

Hello Ellen, My husband and I went through tough times last year. MY husband had cancer in jan, Hes cancer free then i had my neck operated on in march. By the grace of god and my loving sisters we made it through all the times it got hard. I think you for helping all these people that dont have the help we did its a true blessing. Ellen, I think what you are doing for people that are truly in need is wonderful. I hope you don't go broke before I hopefully get a chance to enter one of your many giveaways. I so need to fix our house because I have a leaky roof and it is causing some mold to grow in one of the bedrooms and I have a grand daughter and a son that are asthmatic. This is a huge concern and needs to be tended to immediatley. Even if I don't get picked I will still continue watching your show when I get my satelite turned back on.

i would like anyone of the items you would like to offer. i have never won anything in my life. my two boys would benefit from the sears one but surely we would be blessed with anything. i am a huge fan of yours but havent been able to see ya since the change over with the tv. times are hard hopefully soon i will have the tv set up and ya back on where i can watch ya again on directv. you always gave me a smile when i had nothing to smile for(with the exception of my two boys). I would love to win a sears gift card.I would use it to buy my daughter some school clothes.I just recently had to have stomach cancer surgery.They had to take my spleen and half of my stomach out.So my funds are very limited.I am on disability because I had 2 strokes in 2006,so you can see why I need help. I'm new to this so bear with me YES I WANT TO WIN. I was just diagonised with CML leukemia this past summer, while I was in the hospital January 20 2009 having a bone tumor removed from my right leg my husband came in to give me "The good news & the Bad news" I thought he was talking about my tumor well he was in a way. He told me the doctor feels he removed all of the tumor and by the way " My doctor got my bone marrow results back I have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. How's that for an eye opener well neither of us can work so we're on disability so now my family of three must live off of $10089.00 a month. that's not enough to cover half of our living expensences, So MY FAMILY could surely love and appreciate winning your contest. God love you you're a gift to all of your watchers.

Dear Ellen - Thanks so very much for many hours of enjoyment. I am dropping this line to tell you about the past few years. My husband deserted me in 2001 (took the money out of bank and split), I lost my job due to a merger
in 2002 (I am currently on disablity and have not worked since 2002), lost my dog of 17 years in Apr 2006, lost my best friend (my Mother) in May of 2006), moved in to take care of my other best
friend (my Sister) who had lung cancer, got evicted from the house that my son was still living in and I was paying rent on for 17 years, my sister lost her battle in Apr of 2007. My son
moved in prior to my sister's passing since he is
on disability also (he has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder - severe). After the loses of both their
paternal grandparents and my Mom and sister both my kids went through emotional problems. My daughter also went through a bad divorce at about
same time as Sis's passing and had a nervous breakdown (diagnosed with Clinical Depression). My son and I (because of current economy and not
being able to work) have been on a treadmill with
the "cash advances". We have to take them just to
make it by (not paying all bills) & when our disability checks go in bank they are already gone. However, I am not writing this to complain but rather to thank the Lord that I am as lucky as I am and to let you know that your show points out so many positives in the world. We dearly love you for it. You are a wonderful person. Thanks tons.

I'm sorry that you must endure the poor pitiful
stories and the constant begging of all these people who think their problems top everyone else's. Everyone has some unhappiness in their
lives, but perhaps life could be better if they
elected to wake up everyday and be thankful for what they have. How can they ever be happy if all they do is look and call attention to the bad.
Love the show, keep those laughs and smiles coming!
