Hi Ellen,
I am actually writing to you while my friend is visiting with a handicapped person next door. I am using her computer, she would never ask anyone for help but I don't know a soul who deserves it more. Her husband cheated on her, she lost both her parents to cancer and did everything in her power to keep them comfortable and happy.
She let a friend borrow her car and the friend wrecked it, Ann was just so happy that the two people in the car were not hurt. Now, she has no car, she has to pay the damages and she just lost her job.
She voluteers more than anyone I ever met and never complains. I didn't realize how bad things were for her until I spent the night at her house and I woke up and she was sobbing and crying at three am. She told me she was getting evicted and when she tried to help out another single parent she let her sleep on her couch. When Ann went to check on her, she was gone and so was her wallet, her money, bank cards, her jewelry, even the change she keeps for laundry. The woman had left and charged the last credit card she owned to the max. When she called her she apologized and told Ann she would return everything, she has not heard from her and I doubt she ever will.

Ann talked to a lawyer who wanted so much money to go to court she decided it was best just to forgive her.

Her response is always that when she is taken advantage of that the poor person must need the money more than she does. She carrries no hate in her heart and forgives everyone. She is so close to becoming a lawyer, she sold her house to go to law school but with financial problems it is impossible to study to pass the bar exam. Maybe more people deserve the stimulus package but here is a person who is so eager to give I know once she becomes a lawyer she will work for legal aid and help the less fortunate. She only needs assistance for three months so she can study, she already spent her last dollar on her education, she has her doctorate.
Please, Please help her or tell me where I can go to get her short term financial assistance.

Hi Ellen,
I love your show and you! Wanna dance? My name is Arlene and I am from Louisiana. With the economy the way it is a tough being a single mother of a 15 year- andd the bills. I think this is a awesome thing you are doing. You rock!
Arlene

Hi Ellen My name is Nicole from Kansas City, I absolutely adore you! You are light to my day =) everyday at 3! & you lift my spirits by seeing you help so many unfortunate people! & by making me laugh& dance! Thank you! Unfortunately I have been struggling. I was let go from Gardner Dental Care as dam good Dental assistant, because I was pregnant! & with TWINS!! Denied & no one to hire a pregnant woman for many months! Then I had a very rough pregnancy, I was miserable! I was put on bed rest for 9wks. I developed life threatening complications & spent 2days in ICU, almost died & spent traumatizing week in hospital =( I spent another 3 wks on bed rest. Definatly not how I planed on bringing my beautiful boys into this world. I currently live with my mom because I have absolutely no money to my name, my savings gone =( I’m 27 & my car is breaking apart & no home of my own. My fiancé works so hard & bills are piling up! Definatly can’t afford child care so I stay at home with no income. I also lost my best friend of 14 years couple weeks ago, my favorite kitty Jasper =( I’m really in the dumps because of how life is going! Life gets very depressing & that I am unable to provide for me & my precious baby boys. I pray for good luck & positive change! Love you lots =)

Hi Ellen! First of all i love your show n you ofcourse because you are so funny. Im writing to you to tell you my story. I am a stay home mom well because i have been with out a job for a while. Now that i cannot help my husband with the bills we are strugeling more than ever. We have to pay over 1,000 a week of bills because every time we do not have enough with his pay check we have to be asking people or sometimes my mother for money to pay the bills and to buy groceries. I would really appreciate if the help comes to us like it goes to many others that need it too.If it does not thank you anyway i know you cannot help everyone.

Sincerly

Claudia

Hi Ellen!

I am writing to you to tell you how kind it is that you think of others the way you do. Not to mention the sense of humor you have, to make people forget the economy we are in at this time. The reason I am writing to you is that I have a sister, not blood related, but she IS my sister. Her name is Elisabeth. She went through a terrible divorce and moved to Vermont. She has a daughter who attends school, (6th grade). Elisabeth is very intelligent, she was a police officer in Texas, where I live, before she moved.
She received her Real Estate licence in Vermont, and practices Real Estate, but doesn't make any income there because it is difficult for her to sell any homes. It has been two years since she has sold a home, or listed one. She works at a donut shop three days per week, 18 to 20 hours a week, to pay her bills and cuts hair on the side. I know that she has registered for college in the fall, so that she can obtain her pre-requisites for her RN license. The reason I am writing to you about her, is because she is driving a car, a 1993 VW Cabriolet. The driver's side door wont lock and when you try to open the door, the whole handle mechanism pulls out. The car has so many dents and the molding is coming off. She says that her car gets her from Point A to Point B. She spends all her free time with her daughter, but works so hard. I would love to see her receive a car. Anything that is better than what she has. If you can help please let me know. Thank you for your time and God Bless You. Elisabeth is a treasure and has always been there for me. So, I am writing on her behalf.

Love your show! Watch it every day when I can. I am writing to request help in getting a headstone for my mother's grave. I am on disability with Spinal Stenosis, have had 2 surgeries with the past year on my back trying to correct the problem to no avail. My brother has been helping me by paying my Cobra Insurance payments of almost $400 a month. Our mother died in December 2002 and we just can not afford to provide a headstone on her grave. My other brother who was killed in 1978 and my father who died in 1988 each have one. Our mother's grave is only marked by the little marker the cemetery provides. It would mean so much to my brother and I knowing that she is remembered with a headstone. If there is anyway you could see to help us out, it would mean so very much. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hey Ellen: ]
Well first of all...I freakin love your show!! Watch it everyday!! So i guess the whole point of this is to tell you why i think you should bring the gold digger my way....Well when i was 19 I moved to California and got married in vegas but you see the problem is that my husband is a marine so we didnt have the time or money to go home for a real wedding and now we are just living from pay check to pay check. I am almost 21 now and dream of a real wedding and a nice ring one day and would love to go to school and be able to buy furniture and stuff for our place but the way things are going im never going to have a nice ring or furniture! Its very hard to get on your feet when your young and being able to have this chance would be amazing!! Your biggest fan Brianne!!

Hello Ellen,

I was watchin Craig Ferrgison and son gent wrote about his father who had his identy stolen along with about $2,600.00 while deployed in Iraq. It makes me sad that this is how he gets thanked. There are a lot of people who don't agree with war, but this is not how one should treat our troops. Don't know how you feel about it but if there is anyone with a heart to help this guy it'd be you. I don't want to be contacted. The guy's son who wrote into Craig is from Hawaii. Good luck with the continued success and the blessings that you're bestowing on to others!!

Respectfully-

Dear Ellen,
My family and I love your show. I am very close to my father, that is how I heard about your show. See my father has struggled through life! When I was younger I never got to spend much time with him, because he worked 12 hours or longer at his job! He was a General manager at a mexican resturant. Because of my father my family never did without! When I was 15 my parents split up, next thing I knew my father moved to California, see my mother (which my father loved dearly) cheated on him. My father had a nervous break down, he was heartbroken not for the simple fact that my mother cheated on him but because my father was a gay man trying to hide hiself because he loved my mother and me so much! In California my father became a realtor he worked under a lady named Lonnie. On Christmas of 2005 she fired my father because of the economy. I talked him and his partner to move to Springfield Missouri where I lived. My father found a job as a generel manager of pizza hut, his partner Kenny is unable to work because he trusted his past partner and didn't protect his self and endend up with H.I.V. Soon after I became pregnant and my father was now going to be a grandfather. He was the happiest man in the world. My father never having the chance to own his own house found a place to buy, however on one income it is very hard for him! See he has to pay double his payment just so he can get the down payment made which is $5,000. My dad was so excited about this house he started buying 5 months ago. Now the house has no carpet and now the floor in the livingroom is falling through. I guess what I am trying to say is my dad is the greatest guy you will ever meet he has had to face some very hard times with being a gay man! Even knowing that my father has no money and he is fixing to loose the house he is buying he still asks me everyday when I talk to him If I need anything for myself or my son! Ellen My dad and his partner watch your show everyday they have even been to your show when they lived in California, they absolutly love you! If you could please help my dad out. He truly deserves it. Even if its just a phone call from you would make their day. I love what you do for people and you are simply the best!

Hi Ellen, I love your show you make me laugh and cry when you give away big gifts cause I am disable I had a lamnecktomy on my lower back that did not go well and I cant work. My husband is laid off its hard cause we only have one car his car was hit by a drunk driver and totaled !!!!With one car makes it very hard for me to go to the doctor because he needs my car to look for work. I hope you can help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, Ellen love your show,

Gold Digger our duster's transmission is going out. For over a month we've been traveling under 40 miles because where stuck in 2nd gear. We could go over but where afraid it will go out completely being that its my only transportation to work. My husband takes me to and from work he's unemployed and has a few weeks of unemployment left. I could drive myself to work but he knows how to drive it better. Anyway, I have to get up two hours earlier so he has time to get me to work. My job is in Perrysburg Oh and we live in Toledo Oh. Before the transmission went bad it only took him 10 mins to get me to work now it takes him 45 mins to and from. Then once he drops me off he takes our daughter to school and picks up my oldest daughter. Takes her to work and from work and drops her kids to and from off to daycare because she blew her engine in her car. In it all, regardless how bad of shape the Dusters in he makes sure his mom get's to Church, she'll be 93 this November and the love for his grandbabies, Jazimine, Jermerr, Jaden and exspecially Lynasia who has 22Q13. he picked her up almost daily to teach her how to walk. He felt losing his job was the best thing that happened to him. Because it gave him more time to spend with Lynasia who turned 3 this June and has been walking for over six months on her own.
Thanks for reading my post Please Gold Digger help us fix our Duster and maybe i'll dig up enough to fix my daughter's car too.
Luv Lynn and Family

Ellen I love your show and I love how you help everyone out. What hurts me is that you help the ones that are surviving with a job, nice house, but they are back on rent or whatever. But you don't help the ones that are truly struggling to survive. The ones who try to get jobs but can't because they have no transportation. The ones that are truly struggling with taking care of their kids. The ones that have way less than 100 dollars after they finish paying their bills to survive. What about those people? I know you're not a miracle worker, but just think--what about those people.

Hi Ellen you are a great show . I now have my daughters watching you and if they are'nt gonna be home they call me to tape it for them and they watch it together . they call it Ellen night. lol I sit and watch your show and wish I could be there to see you in person. I wish you could bring Gold Digger to my house .I have custody of 1 of my grandchildren. His name is Brandon and he is 13. My husband died 3 yearsago and we were married 37 years . He was like a father to Brandon. And now its hard to support him by myself . Im on ss disability and I have COPD and theres nothing they can do but take care of my pain. I have no kitchen set so we eat in the living room.My care needs work and I dont have the money to fix it. I cant afford to get my meds.
Please help me ELLEN.

hello ellen!! your show is the funniest, most entertaining show that i have ever watched!! you come on in the mornings at 10 am and if i'm not working then i jump out of bed at 9:57 to be sure to have time to go pee, grab a comfy spot and turn on the tv!! i dont like for anyone to call me during my ellen show because i wont make much conversation and i really dont listen to them. i had a three organ transplant about 3 1/2 years ago and then i was married last year. my husband and i are struggling to pay bills, rent and my immunosupressant prescription copays that are up to $800 a month and especially in the economy we have now!! i would love to go in your gold digger machine to help us out. you are such a giving person and that is why God has blessed you with a beautiful wife, life and career. i send you many hugs and blessings!!
love,
jessica from Midland, Tx

Hello Ellen, You are truly a real celebrity. A celebrity with a big heart! The things you do for people is just amazing, it's heartwarming seeing their faces from your generosity.I would have loved to be at your wedding, you and Portia are two beautiful people who deserve each other.I'm a fan of Portia's to from Ally McBeal, that show was hilarious. Me and my family are living in a homeless house shelter for now. My son joshy is 17, my daughtervictoria is 16, and my grandbaby Torianna will be one July 3. I cant find a job. My son works part time and has been helping us all.So if your money machine happens to be in Muncie,Indiana We are housed at 507 w. 8th st.it would help out having a birthday party for Torianna, and buy some food my kids really like, instead of what is available. I know we cant be picky but if you dont like, you just dont like it. Thanks Ellen and Portia for helping out the world and New Zealand, that was a lovely thing you did for them kids. I bet they will never forget that, me either. God Bless you and all your fans.

Hey Ellen!!!
My brother and I think that our mother, Paula Kimball, deserves to go into the gold digger machine. She is currently unemployed but has a full time job as being a single parent to us. She lost her job a year ago because I was sick and she couldn't use her vacation time without a twenty-four hour notice but she stayed home with me anyway. We love your show and we watch it everyday on out DTV box and rabbit ears because with all of the bills we can't afford cable or satalite. My mom bought the house we are currently living in two years ago with her boyfriend and around the time that she lost her job her boyfriend moved out. We live at 375 haword hollow rd Morgan,Vermont. If the gold digger came down our street you would be a life saver(a cherry one because they are the best)!!
