Hey Ellen!!!
Omg!!! I like so love your show!!! The way you finally got Clooney was awesome. Wish I could have been there.I'm glad to see that you really help out your fans and public. I thought it was amazing how you helped the college student. My name is Anali Mar and I just turned 18. I'm a teen mom and i know that things can get hard at times. See i just found out my mother has breast cancer, but since she lives in mexico and hasn't found a job I've taken the responsibility of finding a way to pay for her treatment.I decided not to start college right away so I can work but I'm currently unemployed and haven't been able to find work. I know you must always here these types of stories but I would really appreciate it if I can have a chance at the Gold Digger contest. I know that there alot of people that have it worse but my mother has done so much for me and was the only one who was there to support me through my hard times. She has been the one who has caught every tear and caught me every time it seems i am about to fall. So to me this super important because i can't let her down. Well thanks for having the best show ever..Love you!!!

Dear Ellen, Today was the first time I got to see your gold digger show,I was so happy for that young girl today, and how you even helped her dog..so cool. I don't have a depressing story,I understand everyone is struggeling at this time.Myself included. My dilema is that I live in Houston,Texas and my boyfriends' and my mother live in Ohio and we do not have enough for air tickets to go home. His 3 daughters also live there and it's been a year since they seen their dad. They are 13,18 and 22 yrs old.I would love to be able to go in the gold digger booth and grab enough for us to visit our families.Thank-you Ellen for helping many be able to pay bills and have food to eat.Your one of a kind!! Barbara

Hi Ellen: I am a big fan of yours and watch every chance I get. I would like to be considered for a part of your stimulus package, please. I am appealing to your passionate, caring, and giving side. I am faced with quite a dilemma at the time. I am on the verge of losing my job due to transportation problems. For the past 2 weeks my car has been parked on the parking lot at my job because I really don't have the money needed to get it fixed. If you could bring the Gold Digger here so I can try and get the cash out of it and have my car fixed I would really appreciate it. I am helping my daughter out a lot because her husband won't keep his child support payments up on a regular basis. My mother has Alzheimers and my sister depends on me to come there after I get off from work and give her a few hours break because she has to deal with my mom 24/7. Now I am not even able to get to her in the evenings unless I can get a ride with someone. Asking people for favors is literally like pulling teeth. They all claim they are going to do their part until they are needed, then they vanish. I know there are others who probably have worse case scenarios than mine but if you knew what my sister goes through with my mother on a daily basis I think you would really understand why giving her that little bit of relief each day is so important. I really hope to hear from you.

Hi Ellen,

Seeing the golddigger portion of your show today brought tears to my eyes and prompted me to request a "GD" visit too.

I am a very fortunate woman. I have a wonderful family and a job I I love. However, with the economy as it is, my sense of security is tenuous at best.

Five years ago, I was married, had just remodeled my house and adopted two rescue pups. Within 3 months, my husband left and one of my dogs became very ill with a life-threatening disease process. Now, I'm divorced, I'm falling behind on my house payments and trying to make ends meet by paying with credit. SCARY!!

Bonnie's meds cost about $125/month and 2 months ago, she spent the better part of a day at the vets to the tune of about $1000. Now she's on a prescription diet as well. The good news is that she is doing well and her brother (Clyde) is less costly, but doing equally as well. They are my charge and I am committed to their health and well-being, as they are my immediate family. Thank goodness for their unconditional love.

My story is no more painful or deserving than any other, I'm just struggling to make ends meet. My job requires me to be on-call 2 weeks of every month, so my time is somewhat limited. That being said, I've applied for part time jobs to help out, but with my specific time limitations, those are relatively few and far between.

I don't want to loose my house or my dogs. I know that many are just as bad off as I or worse, but I know that asking for help, though extremely painful, is the first step.

Thanks.

Hello Ellen i really want to be a part of the gold digger.I am about to start college in the fall and as of know i don't know how i will be paying my fees. Job hunting as been hard, and i really need to be able to help my mom who has done so much for my family. Thank you.

Hi Ellen,
My name is Sally DeJesus a 22 year old mother of 1. His name is Domenic and he just turned 6 months. The reason why I would like to enter the gold digger contest is because I want to get married. I'm engaged with my son's father and we haven't had the money to have our wedding. I'm not working and the money that my fiance makes goes straight to the bills. I'll be happy to get married in court. But deep down every girl wants the wedding of her dreams. I just want to feel like a princess just that ONE day. To tell you the truth, I can use the money on many other things. But this is one thing I desire, to be his WIFE. I thank you for your time. God Bless You.
Sincerely,
Sally DeJesus

Hi Ellen,
I know this is a long shot but I figured it couldnt hurt to try, right? Well I was a single mother with 2 children Taylor(my daughter) and Jakob(my son) until four years ago. On February 6th 2005, I found a great guy and I have been with him since. In April of 2007, we added another addition to our family...my second son, Izayah who is now 2. Since he has been born, my boyfriend and I have been wanting to get married but we are on the very low income side of income so we keep planning to use our income taxes to have a wedding..which of course would be a small wedding then but that doesnt matter to us as long as we have each other and our family there with us. But since we have low income, when it comes time to have a wedding with our taxes, something else always comes up and we need to use that money to pay bills or get the things that our children need. I am currently attending an online college because I dont have a car to go to a regular college and my fiance was working for a local garage but had just lost job so now we are relying on his unemployment to pay our bills so again no money left to have a wedding. If there is anyway you could help we would appreciate it greatly. I am not asking for you to give us a wedding or anything like that...just maybe have your gold digger truck stop in front of our house lol. Anything else you would want to do would be great too. WE LOVE YOU ELLEN!!!

Kristy, Lamar & kids (Taylor, Jakob, and Izayah)

I am a single mother. I have 3 sons and the youngest is living with me. The other 2 are 24 and 22 and are on their own now. I raised all 3 of my sons on my own.
I worked everyday of my life until I became disabled. I graduated from college in 2002. I am paying the mortgage and all the other bills by myself. I have two dogs too. When there is not enough food in my home I feed my son and my dogs first. I have one vehicle and it is needing lots of work done on it now. I dont know what else to do. I sit in my room and cry all the time. It is so depressing. Please help me.

Hi Ellen,

We are a family of 7, Me and Gilbert my husband, Aidan who is 5, Judah who is 4, Lola who is 2, and newborn twins Evie and Emmy. My husband recently lost his job of 2 years. We were doing ok until we started to smell something strange in our house. We called the fire department and they found a smoldering fire in our meter box. Three hours later we were without power and virtually homeless. We are staying in Orlando, Florida with my parents for now until we can afford the $3,000 electrical bill. It has been rough, however we are a very resilient family who love each other very much! We would love the chance to get in your magic money machine and get our house back!!

Help me...obi-wan-ellen...you are our only hope!!!!

Sincerely,

Cindy Verdugo

Hey Ellen! I would like to register my daughter Kayla Patterson for this contest. Kayla is a Senior at TROY University in Troy, AL. She just made captain of the majorette line with the best college band you will ever hear, The Sound of the South Marching Band (or SOTS). This is a dream come true for her. She is 21 years old and a very independent person. She won't ask for money, one reason she knows our money is very tight. But she wants to make it on her own. She works part time as a waitness at Santa Fe in Troy AL and makes okay money for a college student. She is majoring in Management Information Systems and I am very proud of her. This child amazing me at how far she can make her dollars go! I know you enjoy YouTube so if you have time, type in TROY University Sound of the South Marching Band and check out what a wonderful and talented band program my daughter is apart of. Thank you Ellen

i am widowed and in need of help i have been trying to better myself and take care ofmy family and dogs. i would love your help... also have signed up for school

Dear Ellen,

I love your show and I am always happy while watching!!!

Why I want to win your Gold Digger contest --
Two-wks I was let go (for no reason that I could control) of a PR/Marketing job that I loved. I used to get so much praise as I know that I was doing a great job. My new boss came 3-mos ago, had me working about 60 hr per wk while I was only getting paid for 40 (so he could learn my job and steal my work). I am so hurt, very depressed and scared. I am a single mother with one daughter(4.0 GPA) and plenty of unpaid bills. I would so love to win. Please pick me!

I live in Northborough MA! Stop by anytime!

Ellen:

I love your show. I love your can do spirit and the fact that you are a real person. If you happen to send your machine to Warren, Mi. I would be happy to see you. I am newly retired/disabled and have ups and downs just like all of your followers.

Thank You,
Sue Bellhorn

Ellen~
I have two; two-year-old Chihuahuas named Zoey and Pixel they are brother and sister and inseparable. Both of them will let the neighbor kids play with them and check on my son when he cries and give him little kisses. They are just sweet and adorable, but over the 4th of July weekend Zoey was sadly hurt. My folks were watching them and when my dad was putting her on the ground he was high when he let go. Her knee popped out of place and she pull a tendon or ligament. The vet said that it is very typical of little dogs to have their knees to pop in and out of place but due to the pulling of a tendon the vet could not pop it back in. They told me she will need surgery that will cost almost $2,000. I am beside myself – we have been behind on bills ever since I had my son four months ago, and have been trying to catch up. I don’t know what to do I am writing to plead for help! I watch your show everyday and know how much you care about animals. I was wondering if you would send your BIG Stimulus Package or the Gold Digger Machine my way to have a chance to save my little dog Zoey.
Thank you,
