Dear Ellen: I lost my husband ten years ago at the young age of 37, my husband was 39. When I lost him I lost my anchor. Since then I have been struggling to get back on my feet, to no avile. I lost my house in March and my most recent job in May of this year. The reason I was given for termination was because I didn't say hello to one of the owners of the business I was working for. I am writing to you because you say there is always hope, I unfortunatly have none left. My two daughters and I now live in a rented trailer, where the bills are over one thousand dollars a month, our income is considerably less. The reason I am writing is because our consumers bill is $2,500 and is in danger of being shut off. I would also love to give my girls a nice Christmas, but that doesn't look likely. I live in Michigan so finding a job before Christmas isn't going to happen. I know this sounds like I am begging, and maybe I am, but sometimes you have to humble yourself. Thank you, even if I don't get picked, for helping people in my situation have a better life. Have a nice day, Yours Tanis
