Ciao carissima Ellen,
please invite Gianna Nannini before she will become 90 years old (but I am sure that she will be on stage and tour in that age also, she has something like Tina Turner who is 69 and still on tour).
Gianna did a new album: Giannadream and her new single is "Attimo"
Maybe you or your team are able to watch it on "You tube"?!
It is great!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love la toscana merovigliosa and especially the girls from there!
Annie should have won. Joan Rivers should have been fired weeks ago when she made her outrageous insults. I had never heard of Annie Duke before Celebrity Apprentice but now consider her a role model She is a smart, attractive, effective woman.
Here's my 2 cents worth....first of all, this is a reality TV show. Duh!
Let's face it--most people have a good side and a bad side. Joan and Melissa acted very childish, no doubt. But when they said something, it was said to Annie's face. Why they took everything so personal is anyone's guess. They did go over the top, but what you saw was what you got.
Annie's ego was absolutely unbelievable. But any woman-mother-celebrity(?) that goes on national television and tells the world that she gives a good b*** j** is somewhat trashy, in my opinion. She did act nice in the boardroom and then when she was out of the boardroom we got to see the other side of her. Maybe a result of her poker-playing persona. Remember the phone calls she made after she found out the other team called her possible-poker-rivals for donations? I personally wouldn't trust her any further than I could throw her. Why she is going on talk shows and dredging everything back up is beyond me. If she feels toward Joan as she says she does, then why does Joan's opinion of her matter?
The only peoples' opinions that matter to me are the opinions of the people I love and care about. If I don't respect someone or like them, then I could care less what they say about me--even if it horrible.
Me thinks Annie doth protest too much.
Bottom line is that this is a reality show that gives money to charities. Do we really care what Joan said about Annie or vice versa? It is simply entertainment!
Funny. Annie, you LOST. My what a blow that must be to your enormous ego? What's also funny is you claim to be the 'classy' one and the one who is NOT taking it to a personal level. Yet, in last night's final episode, all you could do is talk about Joan Rivers. Joan Rivers. Joan Rivers. Joan Rivers. She really go to you, huh? And, you certainly showed the world just how petty you really are. It almost appeared as if you forgot what you were on the show for? I am quite sure the editors had something to do with that. :) But hey, like you said on the Ellen show in the clip above, with the cameras on you 15 hours a day, you would think they could have found you talking about something other than Joan Rivers?
Ellen!
See... I take her side too! I love 'em all.
I get what she says. Its like she's just trying to be a good person.. the best person. Which is what I try to do and then you find you can't please everyone and not everyone is going to love you all the time or agree with you all the time or be your friend. ... no matter what you do. So its best to just do what's best for you 'cause people are going to do what people are going to do! My therapist said that to me once. SHE'S RIGHT! People are going to do what people are going to do and theirs nothing you can do about it... the only thing you can do is be responsible for how you behave. Yes that goes into reaction. I get the 2 on 1 conflict as well with others. It just seems like the 2 in my experiences .. its like the black sheep.. the one that's not popular.. in opinion or group that gets picked on.. attacked. And that is harsh to take and you just want to be liked and loved and accepted.. but yet you find the others don't like you and try to beat you down.. so I totally get the poker lady!!-Annie Duke! She's a nice lady after hearing her view.
I tried to watch this Sunday.. but I fell asleep which is no excuse sense I have VCR but really once you tape stuff.. you have to have time.. take the time to watch your tapings!.. so I don't have time really to tape 'cause then I can't watch 'cause I don't have time 'cause I'm watching other stuff!
A boss said to me once. "We all need to learn how to play in the same sand box!" I thought that cute and very true! :)
Have a great Day Ellen and Crew! :)
Hi Mary!!!! We finally saw you again! When Oprah Skyped the 2nd time.
Well I'm glad at least one of the Ladies that were attacked by the River girls was allowed to come on and defend themselves. I was afraid we were only going to hear one side. I still think you should have had both Brande and Annie on together. Annie has had her chance but Brande has not. I was not so sure about Annie at first, but I have a 1000 times more respect for her than for the Rivers women. Annie I hope you win!!!!!!

So glad Joan won. Didn't like Annie. Didn't like Melissa either. Hell, I didn't really like any of them but Joan used to be so funny when she was the guest host on the Tonight Show. So - I am still glad she won.
