Hi ELLEN! Hope you will be able to read my posst here on your website. I'm from the Philippines and before I only love watching OPRAH because of how compassionate she is with her guest and the topics she discusses to open up the minds all over the world bout so many issues. And entertaineing as well ofcourse. Now i hate to admit at first i was a bit biased of knowing your a lesbian but after watching your episodes. I could feel how sincere you are to your guests and sensitive enough about how so many people around the world is watching your show and learn as well. And i love how you dance around your show. Oprah hardly do that as far as i can remember. Its just so much fun having games on your show. And one thing i love watching your show is that you also give gifts and special treats for your audience. Simply amazing!!! Its hardly done in any shows and even here in our country unless your a noontime show you would not give prizes. Wish more success and wackiness! Thanks for openning up the window for CHARICE. She might not be able to thank you as often but we know you were the first one who brought her to the U.S and fulfill her dream to be a singer and now a upcoming superstar hopefully in the future. Wish she grows taller more. Hehehe If i could only wish from a IPOD SHUFFLE the one you feature on June 10, 2009 i think. It would be a blast! I would feel like i won the lottery. I just finished watching your show with Queen Latifah and Wayne Dyer among others. I just love the show because on any given day if my life is weighted down with insecurity or negativity, I just turn you on and you make me laugh. I am lucky because I DVR the show and watch it whenever I have the time. Sometimes I have hours upon hours of laughter catching up with shows.
Last year 2007/2008 was a difficult one for me because I had been laid off. Now I am coming to the end of this recent school year and had been fortunate enough to return to my old jog.
So, why after all these years am I writing? Wayne Dyer had such a wonderful message today. When I had returned to school,I was bitter and angry. My cry was always- Oh woah is me!! Poor, poor me!! What a waste of time and energy!!! Wayne is so right, we have those choices to make and the positive one is so much more rewarding as well as healthier. So tell Wayne, I wholeheartedly agree and am a much happier person as a result.
Thank you again for all those great hours of laughter and joy. I love the segments where you give to people who are trying so hard to make it through the tough times, not because they would ever ask, because they are just trying to make the world a better place through hard times. Those giveaways bring such a warm and fuzzy feeling to my heart. You renew may faith in the goodness of humankind. I teach history in high school and it is sometimes tough teaching the truth about man's inhumanity to man!
I am a lucky woman Ellen. After an unexpected divorce and raising my children alone, I went back to school and got my degree and began teaching. I now have been teaching for ten years and completed my masters plus 60 graduate credits. My friends all say that it is the perfect job for me because they pay me to talk!!!
In closing I would just like to pass on this new creed that I try and live by, "Would I rather be right or happy?" I find happiness is much more rewarding!
So, thank you again for the wonderful shows!

My dad is huge on making sure we don't through our old batteries away...he has a container outside the back door that we put them in. He says he wants to recycle them can you help us out...we need a mail-in container to get these batteries out of here!!!

Ellen , I need a rest. My father is 88 years old and I have been caring for him since 1999. He has alzhiemers and dimentia. I had to leave my profession in Arizona leave my children and grandchildren to move Dad to Albuquerque,for his health. Since then I have not had a day off or any rest. I care for him 24/7. I promised my mother before she passed away that I would take care of him. There are no Holidays, Birthdays or
visits from anyone here.I have no life. I have made a very big step and I am going to have Dad put in a home in July 2009, It just kills me to have to do this, No one can care for him like I do. But like the Doc told me I look worse than he does? There are so many baby boomers that just finished raising thier kids and know caring for thier parents. This is the hardest job in the world.I am single and don't even know where to start looking for a partner? Do you know of a single cruise or vacation getaway for a broken down women that is 50 and wants to have a life agin? HELP

Dear Ellen & Portia YOU TWO ROCK MY WORLD! I am going in for surgery and have a broken bedroom tv on my 3rd EVIL hand me down tv. Would like to win a flat screen tv to recover with since I am having emergency surgery on June 16th> AS IF MY LUCK DIDN'T BYTE ENOUGH!!!My dishwasher is days away from death, and my ancient oven died, they don't even make caloric double ovens anymore! My washer and dryer are rusting, so I could use maytag front loaders on stands! Since I won't be able to bend foward for 6 weeks minimum. Hi Ellen, i love watching you every day, the way you dance with the audience, i think is wonderful. i would love to be in you audience to dance with you, alas I live to far away i am in Australia and to be on your show would be a dream. I would love to bring my mum she needs a break!! she has looked after my father for 20yrs and has recently had to place him in a nursing home so she is finding it hard, but we are trying to keep her positive. i just think your amazing how you help people and love you musical chairs very funny. okay bye for now, Kezza :) :)

Just wanted to say I luv ya, I luv ya, I luv ya! I don't get to watch like i'd like to, but i do watch as often as I can and ALWAYS check out the web site. One day I will be at the show and I'm going to meet you in person! I know that because I just asked my crystal ball, (magic 8 ball) hey whatever works right!
