I watch your show just about everyday,I'm from new orleans but i've been living in fairbanks,alaska for four years . I have three kids and it been kind of hard because at my job there cutting hours and I've been trying to make it work and i would be nice if i won....

Dear Ellen,
I have been umemployed for over a year now, and my days are spent with you at 3:00 everyday. You have got to be the biggest nut this side of heaven. Some days I can't even get out of bed because I'm so depressed over my joy situation. But, just like a christian depends on God, I can depend on you to make my day with laughter. After watching your show I can come up with all kinds of ways to make money, but I quickly come to my senses all realize nobody but "ELLEN" can do that and make money. I really don't expect to win anything, I never have. But, if you just keep my laughing I'll be satisfied.

Ellen,
My life is full of ups and downs, lately not knowing where me and my son are going to live and struggling just to eat. I always make it through the day. And it helps that in the middle of the day I can be cheered up just watching you dance or cry laughing at your jokes. You are an inspiration to me and I hope that one day I can be as much of a role model as you are to me. Thank you for all that you do and may you and Portia have the best of everything, you deserve it... Love, Susan and Patrick (my 14yr old son)

I would like to use the stimulus money to go on a family trip to Cal. This would stimulate Cal.'s economy also (ie: spending the money in Cal.)! Are you listening Arnold?!

Dear Ellen...My mom's turning 83 on June 29th...would you call her and wish her a Happy Birthday?.....she just LOVES you....we were looking for tickets for your visit to Chicago, but can't find any info on that....wouldn't that have been a nice b-day gift? but a phone call would be awesome!!! Dear Ellen,

i am from india, i just wish you'd consider my amazing mom. she's been so generous all her life- and she's taught me so much about giving too. she used to make me celebrate my birthdays with the orphanage near my home and now i wanna teach that to my daughter too.
my mom and i watch your show everday though its aired a few weeks/months later here.
we love you ellen!

Dear Ellen, you know what i found being disabled, i have all the time to join in every contest in your show even i'm not winning, my motto is better luck next time, i could see people writing to you from the philippines i'm even having a chance to say hello to them because i missed the Philippines, i've been herein america for nearly 9 years, can't go back home, i told u already my cousin sucked my money, they tookm advantage of me when my husband died, they were able to get my husband's retirment money, so me and my dog vic suffered so much.

Dear Ellen, I want to thank you for the Macy's gift card I won. I watch your show often and enter the contest when I can. The gift card was great because I had recently dropped my cell phone in the toilet and had to buy a new one. Now, I feel, I kinda came out even. I now have joined the "dropped it in the toilet" club and apologize to those I thought silly for doing such a thing. Your shows are fun and entertaining and you make us laugh. Thanks!

Hi Ellen,
My name is Tanya and I have a 1 Year Old Golden Retriever. His name is Rootbeer. He has broken his hip and the vet will not do the surgery on him until I come up with $5000. My vet told me to keep him in a crate to seee if it will heal on it own. It has healded and he is still in the crate and needs to be confined so he will not do any more damage to his hip. He has been in a crate since mid May. Rootbeer and I are part of a doggy community called Doggyspace. My friend Ruby Rose she lives in Bakersfield started a chip in button for Rootbeer and has raised $638. Thank you so very much for this. I have tryed everyones advice. I have no were else I could go. Due to the economy as you know our family just does not have the money . We are trying very hard to keep our house. We have 3 childen and my oldest has Down Syndrome. It is breaking my heart Ellen because I don't have the money to help Rootbeer to get his hip surgery. I have just taken in a dog off the street because someone left him behind when they had to move. He is a Black Lab and his name is Elvis. Ellen can you please help my Rootbeer with the hip surgery he really needs so he can live a full and Happy Life. He is to young to have to live in a crate. I live in Stockton Ca. Ellen can you please find it in your heart to help this Golden Retriever Rootbeer. Thank you so much for listening.

Love your show. Don't even mind reruns. Keep up the good work of making so many people happy. I remember one littl girl, I think you gave her dad a car, she thought your name was Ellen The Generous instead of DeGeneres,I think she had it right.
