Next Story: Keane Performs Their Hit "Spiralling!"
Hello Ellen. I always watched you in the morning till about 8 months ago, when I got the job I was waiting for. I have watched you this past week because I am laid up with my leg. Most of all my first grandaughter is coming home from the hospital so I have got to hurry. My Daughter and I just love you. Tomorrow morning at 9am my daughter, myself and my new grandaughter will be watching the show. I hope that baby stays awake. Aliyana is her name. As cute as a button. Ellen I have so much love for this little girl already.
I moved in with them to help them out, but I have to work a full-time job. So tomorrow will be my last morning to sit and watch you, you make me so happy. You are just what I need in the morning.
Love Cathy, Karina and new Baby Aliyana
Hi! I just wanted to say thank you to Ellen. Your show is excellent and I love all of what you do for all the different charities!! and I especially love what you do for animals.
I help with our local Humaine Society with a trap and release program for stray cats. The cats are live trapped, spayed or neutered then released into one of our feeding areas. Several volunteers like myself have several places around the Miami Valley were we go and feed a couple times a day We have made shelters for these cats that are made of wood, and have shingled roofs and are insulated and packed with straw for warmth, ~which is a must as it is getting really cold here in Ohio. There are also feeding huts so the food and water are out of the weather and kept dry.
The Friday after Thanksgiving I had gone to feed at one of our areas and everything had been stolen! All the feeding stations, the shelters and even our food containers! All the volunteers are so upset for these cats! They have no place to get out of the nasty winter weather! Does anyone do anything similar or have any idea if there is an organization out there that may be able to help out or know of any ideas on less costly shelters for cats?
Thank you in advance!! ;)Melissa
Want George Clooney?
The apple doesn't fall from the tree ... you should invite Nick Clooney to be a guest on your show.
Nick is handsome, eloquent, full of charisma, entertaining, brother to Rosemary Clooney, and most importantly - George's father.
And if you play your cards right (you learned how in Vegas, right) you could probably talk him into shaming George to appear!
Good Luck.
Ellen,I just love your show and come Feb. I will not be able to watch it anymore except on Fridays (my day off).I get to watch it now at work and with no cable I got the converter box but it will not pick up the channel that airs you. Is there anyway I can view the show online? You make my work day upbeat for that hour of laughs. Thanks for you being you and making the day brighter.
Dear Ellen,
My sister and I watch your show all the time, we find your show so up lifting and funny.
My sister had hip revision surgery on Sept.3 and has been wearing a brace and spending most of the
time in a wheel chair. See my sister has two artificial hips, they have simply wore out over the years, this is why she needed the surgery
Next year she will have the other hip revision.
What i am asking for if you could possibly let me
receive the 12 days of christmas so I can give these gifts to her. My sister Darlene and husband has dedicated their self,to help me take care of my 9 year old daughter. Who has autism and is non verbal. I will probably never be able to repay them for what they have done.
Thank you for your time and may you ellen and your family and staff Have a Very Merry Christmas.
Sincerely Donna From Pittsburgh.
Dear Ellen & Team,
I’ve sent a few emails recently about a few ideas I had and now I’ve had another thought (I do alot of thinking incase you hadn't guessed already). I’ve heard u say a few times on air that u don’t have a co-host or that a co-host would be handy every now and again, so I can be ur co-host to be in places where u can’t be, but need to be for the show. Im guessin at this point ur thinking what a good idea, but does this girl have experience? Well no I don’t, but Im a fast learner and quite the tell it like it is kinda person. Come on give me a go or even a trial.
Take care,
Brooke Johnson

Dear Ellen & Team,
I recently emailed u to see if u had any jobs available, I currently work for an International Freight Forwarder in Sydney, Australia and Im looking to move to Los Angeles and into the Media/Entertainment industry and ur show would suit me and vice versa. I then started to think that if you do not have anything available maybe you could help me look for a job in LA and follow my journey creating a new segment on the show or better yet u could employ me and I could help other Ellen viewers who are unhappy in their current employment, get jobs and follow their Journey. Lets face it, we spend 80percent of our time at work and if we're not happy the days are so much longer, slower and more depressing than ever. All in all both are great suggestions on my part and will appeal to all viewers.
Ok so now that I’ve talked myself up, I’ll leave it at that and hope to hear from u soon and if not thanks for your time anyway.
Take care, Brooke Johnson Sydney, Australia
P.S FYI If you pass on the idea u don’t know what ur missin out on
HI Ellen,
What I like about your show is that there is always something funny going on. No sad, depressing news. We have enough of that in the world. Your show is a picker upper so we can have laughs and be happy for about an hour and hopefully it will follow us on thru the day. God Bless you and keep going on with your show forever. Your home viewer and friend. Judith Wozencraft

ELLEN,
I AM TRYING TO HELP OUT NEIGHBORS OF OURS. I HAVE SIGNED UP THREE FAMILIES FOR CHRISTMAS BASKETS. I HAVE A COUPLE FAMILIES THAT COME OVER AND LET ME KNOW THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO EAT SO I WILL GIVE THEM A COUPLE SACKS OF FOOD TO GET THROUGH THREE TO FOUR DAYS. IF THEY HAVE NOTHING BY THEN THEY JUST COME BACK. I DO WHAT I CAN WHEN I CAN. WE HAVE ONE FAMILY NEAR US THAT IS REALLY DOWN AND OUT. THEY ARE BOTH ON DISABILITY AND HAVE THERE TWENTY FOUR YEAR OLD DAUGHTER LIVING WITH THEM. SHE COULD NOT SURVIVE ON HER OWN. SHE HAS A MENTAL CAPACITY OF A TEN TO TWELVE YEAR OLD. NEITHER OF THE PARENTS DRIVE AND THEY DONT HAVE A VECHILE. MY HUSBAND WILL GIVE THEM RIDES TO THE DOCTORS, CASH THERE CHECKS, PICK UP SOME GROCERIES, AND EVEN PICK UP MEDS. THEY HAVE OFFERED US MONEY AND WE DECLINE AND TOLD THEM THAT FRIENDS DO NOT CHARGE EACH OTHER. THEY SURVIVE ON LESS THAN A THOUSAND A MONTH. WE HAVE STOPPED AND GIVEN HOMELESS PEOPLE BEGGING FOR FOOD MONEY AND FOOD. WE DO WHAT WE CAN BUT ITS NOT ALWAYS ENOUGH. WE HAVE EVEN CONSIDERED LETTING A PREGNANT HOMELESS WOMAN STAY WITH US BUT BECAUSE OF TODAYS SOCIETY YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN. WE DID COME HOME AND I GOT INFORMATION ON WERE SHE COULD GO AND STAY FOR FREE. WHEN WE GOT BACK TO WERE SHE WAS ASKING FOR FINANCIAL HELP ON THE STREET SHE WAS GONE. I GIVE TO PEOPLE HOPING THAT AT SOEM TIME IF THERE IN A POSITION TO HELP OTHERS THEY WILL.
MY HUSBAND WORKS I DO NOT. I AM ON DISABILITY. MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP AND MY BEST FRIEND FROM TEXAS AND I WOULD LOVE TO BE ON YOUR SHOW FOR THE CHRISTMAS GIVE AWAYS. I SIGN UP FOR ALL DAILY GIVE AWAYS AND EVEN COMMENT ON EVERY SEGMENT THAT YOU PUT ON WEBSITE. I LOVE YOUR SHOW AND I APPRECIATE ALL THE GIVING THINGS YOU DO. GOD BLESS YOU AND PORTIA.
THANKS FOR LISTENING,
I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD WHEN BRAD PITT TOLD YOU TO SEND OVER THE CHIP-N-DALE MODELS ATLEAST 3 AND A BLONDE, OVER TO GEORGE CLOONEYS BUNGALOW. YOU HAVE TRIED SO MANY THINGS. I LOOK FORWARD TO THE CLOONEY ADVENTURES CONTINUING. THANKS FO RTHE LAUGHS.

Ellen: Love the photos of Brad Pitt. But, Where is Danny Gokey? Why has n't he been on your show? He is the next Brad Pitt. He is hot and sexy. He has a big, big heart. He is all about Helping people. Just like Brad Pitt. If you can have Brad Pitt on your show you can have the next sex symbol, Danny Gokey on your show.
