Hi Ellen,
I am a big fan of your show and I saw that you are giving away a trip to Hawaii. I'm not giving my name for this trip but for my mom. She has always been there to drive me around to all my various sports everyday and I feel that she really deserves some time for herself. She has been dreaming of being on the beach for a long time. Work has been rough the past months and she has been working like crazy. I am sure if she would win this trip and have an amazing first real vacation she would be most happy.

Thank You
Marina

I told my boyfriend this morning that I was going to look on the website somewhere to try and win a FREE VACATION! He said, oh you're not going to win anything, maybe not, but I'm tryin like crazy!!!!

I Realllllllllllllllllllly want to go to Hawaii! My kids have been dreaming of going to Hawaii and so have I. My daughter is curently writing a report on Hawaii and learning about the state makes us want to go there. Hawaii is truely a beautiful part of the United States. My children really want to go there so we looked online to win a family trip. If you give me this trip I would be the happiest person EVER!!!!

Hi Ellen I love your show.Ellen last year was hell on me I went through a year of chemo and loseing everything ive ever owned.my home my job.I always dreamed of going to hawaii my whole life.Ive never had a vacation.I a single mom my kids are all grown up now ive work my whole life to raise them on my own with no child surport.and then got real sick had to do chemo feeling better now.and boy I sure could use a break.thank you for all you do your the bomb.one of your biggest fan.

Dear Ellen:
My husband and I watch your show daily. We have been married for 30 years and have 2 grown children and 6 grandbabies and one more on the way. Due to the economy here in Ontario, Canada he and I have had to leave our family and go out west for work. We have never had a real honeymoon and Hawaii has always been somewhere we have dreamed of visiting. We never seem to be able to save the money for this once in lifetime trip because we always put our kids and grandbabies first, whatever they need comes first. It would be a dream come true for both of us.
Thanks for listening Ellen.

Yours truly,

Earle & Sherry Bawn

Dear Ellen,
Guess my reasons are my boyfriend and his daughter. My boyfriends ex was pregnant with his daughter when they went to Hawaii. He has always promised her he would bring her there and show her all the things she missed while she was tucked away in her moms belly. She is going on 16 now and her dad works so hard but still falls short of saving money, especially for that kinda trip. On top of it all i lost my job at a little pet store the first of the year..That leaves no room for saving anytime soon. He would love to bring her before she finishes high school so that only gives him about 3 years to go.. I would love to see their dreams of sun, beach and beautiful water come true...

thank you
Malinda

Ellen,

I am writing to you on behalf of my family. We watch you everyday, and we always make sure to TIVO your episodes if we aren't home.

I believe our family needs a vacation. We have never had a family vacation, and the future doesn't look too bright.

My dad's car is getting worse and worse every day, and I'm sure the transmission will blow soon.

I am asking you Ellen, to please help us have our first family vacation.

Thank you Ellen.

Love you,

Anna Scheitel

Hi Ellen,
I watch your show everyday and, I think you are just down right crazy but, in a good way. I have been a single working mom for the past ten years and, six of those years attending college too. On 05/07/2010 I got married and shortly after graduated with a degree in criminal justice. Although, the future is sounding brighter, I still have not landed "the job" and have not had a honey moon, with my honey lol! He works real hard for us however, on pretty much one income ( I'm a waitress part time) it's hard to support two children. We day dream about Hawaii all the time and, if I could take him to Hawaii, It would be the best gift in the world.
love you Ellen

Hi Ellen, We would love to win a trip to hawaii!
My husband Jeff and I have 2 teenage boys and have never taken a real vacation. I've told my son that the only way we can take a vacation is if we win it. So please consider us!
your long time fan,Laura

Dear Ellen,
I have watched your show since it came on air. I love, love it. I have entered the contest to win the trip to Hawaii. The most important reason this trip would be wonderful for me, is that I take care of my 76 year old sweet mother that has Alzheimers. My mother had 8 children and sacrificed her entire life for us. we never had much, but we had plenty of love. I am her oldest child and I still don't have much, but I love taking care of her, and I owe her my life. I would love to win this trip for her. She is still able to travel at this time, but has never really been a great trip like this one. I would so love to do this last thing for her before she gets too bad to travel. It has always been a dream of hers. Thanks for this opportunity even if we don't win. And thank you for all you do. Linda

Dear Ellen,
Im sure you hear many touching stories, and mine is no more important than the others. I am a recovering addict of almost 7 years now. My children have been through a lot with me, in my addiction and now in my recovery. They are my world!! They still remember the pain, and we are learning together what a "healthy" family is! Today, I can proudly say that I am a Substance Abuse Counselor working for Valley Hope and helping others so that they can find the blessings in their life such as I. I would love an opportunity to spend time with my family, time that I lost in my addiction...to help make the new memories I find sooo precious. Not that I ever want to forget the memories of our pain in my addiction...that is what helps keep me clean and sober today. I love for my family with all my heart!!! This would be such blessing... Hey Ellen,

My partner of eight years(Steve) and I love your show. We love your quirky, improvisational sense of humor, and of course the fact that you are a positive role model for the GLBT community. Recently, he and I went through a traumatic bad patch and I feel badly that I could not give him something special for our eighth anniversary. If we could win your Hawaii trip, we could actually get married and what a gift that would make. I love Steve and would love to show him how special he is in my life. Unfotunately, we live in the conservative Mid-West and do not have the chance to commit our lives as our straight counterparts do. Anyway, we love your show and you and wish you and Portia all the best. Blessed be. Phil

Dear Ellen,
you are wonderful. I admire your convictions, and the causes you support, and above all- your sense of FUN and love of life!
I have survived advanced metastatic breast cancer (so far). I raised my 2 sons alone, through many years of cancer treatment, and many many surgeries including Bone Marrow Transplant. I am very lucky to still be here, and to have the years with my sons that I've had. BUT... the last two years it's been AWFUL- very painful and difficult. I recently had a surgery that helped improve the quality of my life just a bit that I can get out of the house now. I had wasted very badly, but with help of friends- and my two sons- I have gotten thru it, and am now strengthing my body, muscles, and my HOPE. My dear friend, who I've known since we were both 5 yrs old has helped me so much! She will be going thru a divorce, and also wanted to take her daughter to Hawaii to celebrate her 18th b-day. Neither of us have funds to get to Hawaii, really. I would feel like the LUCKIEST woman in the world if I could win a trip and take my dear childhood friend and her girl to Hawaii while I'm still mobile and want to have Hawaiian sunsets imprinted in my brain to recall in future difficult times.

I hope and pray I might be blessed with such a wonderful gift.
Bless you for all the good you do for others,
and what you give of yourself to make life good,
Sincerely and with love,
Karen

Hola...chica

Hi Ellen,

I am getting married next April and unfortunately my dad is out of the picture and my mom is going through a terrible divorce and on top of that she lost her job. We don't have a lot of money, but my fiance is so great and has saved and saved in order to pay for our entire wedding! However, you know how expensive weddings can be, and I thought it would be so great to win this trip to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Please, please, please consider me for this trip to Hawaii!

Mollie

PS-I have watched the show since day 1 and it continues to get better and better!

Ellen,

Love your show, watch it daily.I would love to win the trip as we are celebrating 30 years of blissful marriage, to a farmer no less.I appreciate all that you do for charity and appreciate all that you have done for the less fortunate. I would be willing to split the trip if that would help you out.I have never won anything, (like so many others) but it sure would be cool to win in IDAHO!Be well and keep up the good work you do. God Bless you Girl.I am pretty sure you have a spot in heaven waiting for you.

Hi Ellen,

I love watching you and your wonderful show. I am a military wife and my hubby is in the Army. We are currently stationed at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas in San Antonio. We have two wonderful boys, ages 12 & 14. We are a little sad because he is about to deploy in a couple of months to Iraq for the fourth time. Each time is harder but each time also makes us stronger. Stronger for me in who I am as a mother and wife but as a woman as well. I would love to win the Hawaii trip and take my family on a vacation before he leaves again. To make some memories that we will cherish not only during these hard times but for years to come. It would be a complete dream come true!! We haven't been on a vacation with all these moves and deployments in years. Thanks so much for everything you do for so many people. Besides dancing and laughing, I love most of all watching you make others so happy!!!
Your a fantastic woman.

Big Hugs,
Angie
