You know you missed it!
After emerging from the pile of 1,000 shows worth of tapes, I did a little math:
Ellen has done 1,000 episodes.
I have been here for 475 episodes.
And the cat has been here for 49 episodes!
To celebrate almost 50 episodes of Smokey the Cat, I will now give you the log of what he did last night:
8:50 PM: The cat arrives, eats out of the "Girl" food bowl, and drinks.
9:45 PM: The cat eats from the "Girl" bowl.
11:45 PM: The cat drinks and eats from the "Girl" bowl.
12:15 AM: The cat eats from his species-appropriate bowl.
12:45 AM: The cat eats from the "Girl" bowl
5:40 AM: The cat drinks, eats from the cat bowl, drinks, eats from the "Girl" bowl, then eats from the cat bowl.
I think today we've learned that Smokey can't read.

I am so happy to see that you have tried to accomodate Smoky by providing him toys, food, water and the condo. He is a very lucky cat. He comes around your set because he feels the love. I do think he was happier just hanging around the set the way it was. He could come by and feel the vibs and smell the good smells of you and your guests. He now has all the things you have given him. I am sure he enjoys them and feels the love behind them. You have covered the furniture and covered all the good smells. Smoky comes around because he wants too. He is a very loved and blessed cat to have you as a friend. Try putting a sweat shirt with your smell on it in or under the condo after all he wants to be as close to you as he feels comfortable. He may even be a cat only let out at night by his owner. He picked a good place to go at night. Blessings and Love to all
