If Smokey Twittered

If Smokey had a Twitter, this is what it'd be like:

I ate from the regular food bowl, then I ate from the "Girl" bowl. I'm glad the base of the Cat Condo is carpeted, I just rubbed my face in it, then I had some more food from the "Girl" bowl.

@thellenshow Thanks for the Halo Brand Pet Food! So much better than regular cat food. You're so good to me. Also, your water tastes funny.

I drank some water, ate from the "Girl" bowl, then ate some from the regular bowl. Still can't decide which bowl I like better.

@WBDog You saw Clooney today? So jealous...

I ate from the regular food bowl, then from the "Girl" bowl, then I decided to stretch out behind Ellen's chair. I went back for some more food then left.

I just ate from the "Girl" food bowl. I don't know which bowl I like better.

I'm sure that's what he'd write.

If Smokey would tweet today he would be saying that he has had a great summer greeting the tour groups, enjoying being around people this summer (although please don't try and pet me) and Ellen, I really want my food and water bowls back on the stage along with my condo that I can stare it. Thank you for feeding me.

IT IS WONDERFUL TO SEE THIS LUCKY CAT BE FED AND HAVE SOME FUN!! BUT PLEASE , PLEASE, ELLEN, ARRANGE FOR A TRAP AND GET THIS CAT FIXED OR PRETTY SOON YOU MIGHT HAVE A WHOLE BUNCH OF CATS WITH NO HOMES. please please.......

Smokey loves your Halo food I understand. How about added some "kitty grass" to his diet. My 3 cats love it and it helps their digestion. They can't wait til spring when I let them in the back yard with my dogs to eat the "real stuff". I find "kitty grass" in the floral section of the grocery store. I bet the CA stores have it as well. Some catnip on the carpeted area and he might do summersolts like my cat does. It's so cute to watch. just thought I'd mention what my cats like. Gail, upstate NY

I think smokey needs some more toys on the ground so he can play. like some loose fuzzy balls or a fake furry mouse.

Well he is a lucky Cat.Who name the cat? I think his name should be Smoky the Lucky Bandit and he should have his own comic book make him do something. EX:Like saving the girl form eating a different foods or going back stage and doing something funny to your guest is just an idea I could write something and make it every week, if you like?

I I absolutely love that uve taken n and care of this smokey cat. Ellen show is fabo n I luv the show. Smokey is a very lucky cat n its nice 2 c that she really does care about animals n people. Breath of fresh air. So does smokey have any friends? Cats usually live in farrows when homeless well x homeless. Lol very kewl!

Thank you Joe & Ellen for keeping us updated on 'Smokey'. Please continue these catcam stories and let us know how he/she is doing.
Has anyone ever investigated where 'Smokey' came/comes/goes from and is he/she someones pet?!
It would be great to know he/she is healthy and gets ALL the shots needed to protect him/her from disease/pregnancy/etc; especially if he/she is a 'feral cat'?! The Ottawa Humane Society in Canada picks up 'feral cats' to vaccinate and neuter/spay them; and then returns them to their 'feral community'. I'm a cat/animal lover and would love to know 'Smokey' is well taken care of and protected.

Thanks for keeping track of the latest addition to Ellen's personal "staff".

I really enjoy looking at the web cam, but often don't see the cat, and I was starting to get worried.

Nice to see the kitty is truly enjoying his/her world at Ellen's, and wishing him or her (?) many happy cat years to come.

Well.. at least I know Smokey is like me... can't decide when given too many choices! You should see me at Target trying to figure out what tooth paste I want and trying to remember the commercial that made me want this toothpaste that I can't remember nor try to recall/picture/visualize in my mind so that I can identify on the store shelf! At which point .. I just buy another tube of Crest!

Have you tried Tom thumbs/maine toothpaste. Its environmentally safe and better for you. I suppose if it was the only option.. I'd pick it!

Just like with the clothes detergents.. here in Washington its all going to be what Ellen gave away that day Earth Works.. green and white bottles. They sell at Target! I think its a good thing. We have to get away from perfumed bad stuff.. go natural. Better for environment and us!
Good thing Smokey doesn't have to pick out clothes, detergent, or toothpaste!!! Can you imagine!!!!!!!
