How do you register to win an ellen giveaway?

Dearest Ellen, My story is like many others, I suffer from major depression but I know at least one hour a day I can laugh and forget my problems when I get to watch your show. My husband & I have fallen on hard times due to my accident at work over a year ago. And hime losing a good job due to downsizing. I have just had my third surgery & may have more to go. My husband only works for a friend with no benefits and sometimes no work. I was receiving workmans comp at first but then they cut me off, so we have fallen way behind in our bills, including 2 months behind with our house payment. We do have lease truck that we have to turn in early which will leave us with our 1989 buick that has engine problems. Winning a reliable car would be a blessing so that my husband can continue to work and look for a better job. When he is off work he doesn't qualify for unemployment so we put food on the table by shopping at the dollar store. Because any monies we get we try to keep up our house payment & any other bills we can. I have a rescue dog named Buddy who I couldn't live without, he is my companion and my baby. I use to beable to give him good food but now he also gets food from the dollar store too. His shots are due but I am taking him in with the next pay check as I would die if I lost him. He loves to ride on the mower with my husband (I'll try to attach a pic)and he hates it when I cry, he licks & licks me like he's trying to heal me. I didn't know which contest to try for. We use to contribute to the humane society, fire fighters,cancer research, & purple heart & salvation army. Now all we can give is blankets and used clothes to try help others. My daughter is moving back from AZ pregnant with her first child and I can't even give her a baby shower. We have used all our savings and 401K. But I keep hoping God will give us the knowledge to survive & the right road to travel. I fill out job applications everyday for my husband, and hope and pray somemore. You've helped so many and it brings tears to my eyes when I see the joy that others receive. I know who ever wins will be well deserving. Hi, Ellen!! Just a line to let you know how much I enjoy watching your show in the afternoon!! I wouldn't miss it! I would really like to win a new car!! I have never, ever had one and I'm going to be 55 years old!! No, actually if I won, I would give it to my son.. They have been having a really rough time of it these last few months. He has been living off from $317.00 dollars every two weeks of unemployment, and they have 2 little girls ages 3 and 6 years old. His fiance just got a job on weekends working as a desk clerk at a motel, but they really need transportation to find better jobs, or any job at all. The area we live in is very rural so you have to travel at least 25 to 30 miles to get to the nearest town. I do know however, that there are alot of people in the same situation, so I'm just going to say thank you for being such a caring and giving human being. Thanks Ellen.

I just love your show and everyday I watch lifts my spirits higher. You are a great person and care about others especially the animals. I have a sister who has spastic cerebral palsy as a child and needed many operations over the years. She has gone through many trials over the years including an abusive husband and several difficult relationships. She has always had a problem with her weight and has struggled over the years to get her weight down. She has never had anything of her own or many ups in her life. I love doing things for her and taking her places she would never get a chance to go. My Sister and I have helped whenever we can. She has problems getting a job because of her age over 45 and overweight so she is automatically discrimated against. She has had to work on Dairy farms and in the fields just to survive for her children. She was helping take care of an elderly woman and was asked to leave when they were deciding to put her in a nursing home. She was left without a place to live and no car because they demanded the car back that she had been paying on for several years because it was in the older womans name. She does not have a car and is borrowing one until she can get money saved for one. I think she deserves a car and hope you will consider her as one of the finalists. Thank you Gloria April

I watch you faithfully everyday. You are funny and so down to earth. You inspire me with your out look on life. I am a 34 year old single mother of three boys. I am a college student and I advocate for the rights of children with disabilities, with the schools and therapy services. I am a stay at home mom. You have such a special person. Meeting you would be more meaningful to me then anything else. You are truly an amazing women. Thank you for making me laugh and inspiring me.

Ellen let me just start by saying.. you rock!!! I love your show. I look forward to it everyday.I recently just had a baby on January 16 2009 and it was the best moment of my life! Though it was tough and like everyone else these days its a struggle especially with a shady white van with no back seats that I bought from a man in California for $900 and drove it cross country... so i need a car suitable for a baby now lol but i don't have any money I'm a stay at home mom... but anyways a new car would be an amazing thing for me and my daughter Layla Haze.. We both love you Ellen woo woo!!!

i am a 27 yr old mom with 3 kids well as of march i had 2 move back down with my parents its been real tough for me since my husband aint part of our lives i was working just to a point where i could put food water to shower and a roof over me and my kids head but work slowed down my husband left and i just kept strugling now i dont havd a car to look for a job all the people i ask for favors ask for money in return for a favor i feel a failor to my kids not just for losing work but putting them in a home where we are not wanted . Im mexican so working is in my blood i learn pretty quick i just need a car to get a job and get my kids out of my parents . Well thanks alot for your time and god bless you

hi ellen it is debbie again lol...i would love to win anything, on your show would be appreciate..yes i will admit i am having financial problems these husband is working so much to keep our family together..and you always bring a smile to my face when i am down..all i want is the best for my child and my grandson who live with us and our son in law to..the kids tryied to send me and my husband to hawaii for a belated hooneymoon but had to use the m oney they had saved to live....they were so sad..my heart is hurting about this i watch my grandson while my daughter goes to college and my son in law works..it is just hard in these times..thank you for your warmth and your humourus personality love it keep it up debbie kern
