Hi. I love being able to catch your show during my lunch break. My favorite episode is still the Hawaii Chair, but it is still funny to see people stuffing money in every possible spot they can (even the back of their pants)! My pitiful story is I lost my job in August, hit by Ike in September, found out I was pregnant in October (I have a 13 year old and 15 year old), took the only job I could find in December (temp job barely above minimum wage). Here I am 8 months pregnant about to lose my temp job and only source of income, dealing with 2 large holes in my roof plus mold and possible foreclosure in July. So if you would like to come on down to Texas, we would love to have you!!

Dear Ellen I've been a three year devoted fan and think your being around is so uplifting to so many of us. I see you as what's positive among us. Your a gift to TV.

thanks.

Now let me share something about a friend of mine. His name is Leroy. He is my care giver as I am a quadriplegic disabled person. He has cared for me for 20 years. He is now seventy and still is going strong. He took me into his home when I was down and out and stuck by me all along. He's retire now and lives on a mineral retirement. His car is on his last legs put together by chewing gum and hope. If you could surprise him with gold digger would be a wonderful help to get a better running car.

thanks Leroy's friend.

Oh my gosh WE LOVE LOVE LOVE your show Ellen. I have two children going to UNCG next year WE REALLY REALLY need you to bring that Gold Digger machine to our house. We have 10 children the youngest four adopted siblings ages 16, 17, 18, and 19. We're OLD Ellen and don't want to take out student loans at our age.
If the kids can get a couple thousand dollars that will ALMOST pay for their school books for next year. They are SUCH GOOD kids Isiah age 18 was shot on a CA freeway at age four. Destiny age 19 born to a drug addict was diagnosed to ALWAYS be slow and never be normal by those working in Social Services in CA. These kids are true survivors Ellen and I promise you if you bring that machine to our home in NC that they will empty your machine.
Our family LOVES watching your show your just a REAL person that everyone can relate to. A true Role Model...... Thank You so much,
Harris family

Dear Ellen,
I'm Libby. I'm a 4th grader that's 9 yr.s old and I think you should come to Allendale(A-town), Michigan. I think I'd be the right person for the Gold Digger for these reasons:
1. I'd give some of it to charity.
2. I'd give some of it to my brother to pay for his college fund.
3. I'd help my parents pay the bills.
See? you should bring the Gold Digger to MY house. Oh, and I'd yo some of the money to buy a duck for my 2 sisters and me.Please come here !!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely,
Libby Hill

Hi Ellen. my mom, sister, and I watch your show everyday. My mom notice that you told viewers to go to your website and tell you why they deserve to play gold digger at their home. Well, I have a story for you. We are just getting settled back in our home after being flooded out of our home for the 2nd time in 14 months. We lost all of our furniture down stairs twice. This time around we lost 4 times more than we did last time. Besides the furniture we lost pictures and cloths and floors caved in. on top of all of that me and my dad had been laid off since last may, my mother had 3 strokes one in may of 2007, and the other 2 in April of 2008. Life has been more than stressful the last few years but every time we watched your show we new we were in for a laugh and it always came at the perfect time.. I know there are other people who are worse off than us but I know my parents could really us the help and would be truly grateful... Thank you for your time.

Always your fan,
Josie Crace

Hi Ellen! My name is Andrea. I am a 22 year old stay at home mom. My daughter is 16 months! We love your show and we watch it everyday. For the past 2 years my husband and I have really been struggling to make ends meet. Where he is the only person working in the household it has been very difficult for us to make it. My daughter has anaphalaxis ( extreme allergies ) so I am not able to get her into daycare to help provide for the family. It gets really depressing somtimes but I can always count on you to make me laugh. It has been so hard for us. We don't even live paycheck to paycheck. As soon as the paycheck comes in it is gone to bills and diapers. So, then we are left with no money for 2 weeks at a time! So I guess what i am trying to say is PLEASE come to Berea, Ky and give my family some hope! We love you Ellen and your show!

Dear Ellen,
please take a chance and come to flushing Michigan. We barley make around with now they are grown and I feel like it never ends and I will never be able to pull my self out. I am sure we will be home I can't hardley drive our piece ofcrap car...PLEASE PLEASE COME TO US ELLEN..

Dear Ellen !
We are a family of 5 on one income. Two of our children are special needs. I am unable to work because of the numerous doctors appt. my daughter has as well as therapy sessions, etc. We are avid animal lovers and currently have 2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 hamsters and a few fish. All of our pets have been rescues. Our oldest dog was rescued in 2005 from the middle of a busy street. We had taken her to the vet soon after she was rescued because at that time she had a large oozing wound on her side. She would lay on a pillow in the house and there would always be blood. I had to make her wear a dog sweater in May to keep the ozzing at bay. The Beagle was noted to also have a large area on her back paw that is totally bald and raw. It was noted at the vets office that the Beagle had a large growth that was opened somehow, not too mention the area on her back paw was due to previous abuse and being left out on a tie out for many hours, til it wound around her back leg cutting off her circulation and she will never grow fur back there. The vet said whoever did this does not deserve to have her back, since the dog had MANY battle scars. We fell totally in love with her. She is a sweet Beagle about 14 years of age. My daughter with the special needs has a very special bond with this sweet Beagle girl. However, almost 5 years later the dogs growth on her size is back, not oozing but its there and we know with the last surgery it was around $1500. Because we have low income, we cannot take her back to the vet to have anymore surgery at this time since we lack funds and my husbands part time job closed up in December. If we could get a chance at the gold rush we would be able to take our precious Beagle, Lady to the vet. Thank you so much. We really love you because you love animals. We believe in being voices for the voiceless. They are very special to us, all of our pets. Even though one cat is insulin dependent diabetic and the other newly diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. It never ends but we love our rescue pets :)

Dear Ellen!,

I think you should bring the gold digger to CANADA! I love it here! I think I deserve to play this game because I'm such a good friend to everyone, I give the shirt off my back to anyone and everyone. I am one of the kindest people in the world and I know I'm going to make a huge difference in people's lives when I'm finished college and university to become a social worker. The money would be awesome to help me pay for college. As well I'm on dissability I could always use the extra money. I believe in Karma so maybe you'll come to my house :D I deserve it that's for sure! Love the show, thanks again for reading!

Dear Ellen,

There are a million reasons I would love for gold digger to visit my house. The number one reason is DIAPERS. I have 2 kids in diapers right now and it is killing me! I also teach 2nd grade and would love to spend the money on my classroom! While I was out on maternity leave I didn't have enough days built up so the county that I work for docks pay for each day that we are out. Seeing that GOLD DIGGER would be an awesome sight. Hope to see you guys soon.

You could even come to the school!

Hi Ellen, I am writing because my only child, my son, could surely appreciate the opportunity to win this gold digger game. He is out of work right now, although he dabbles in domain names and that has kept his head above water, he still needs some help. He has 5 children, and he is a great dad, doting and loving. He has passed the test to maybe be hired as a correction officer, so we are praying this comes true. I am proud of the way he is with his children because he lost his Dad when he was 2 so he didn't have a role model, but you'd never know it by the way he spends time with all of them, my 18 yr old, 16 yr old, 5 yr old, 2 yr old and 2 mon old. his faith in God is strong and that keeps him going but this could really help him Ellen. Thanks for all you do. Paul's Mom
