Dear Ellen,

I am 21 years-old and have recently been diagnosed with a movement disorder where I have tics similar to Tourette's or Parkinson's Disease. I have been dealing with the symptoms of my disorder on and off for over a year, which required numerous doctor and hospital visits. During that time, I also lost my job. I took me 4 months searching in a 100 mile radius to finally find a job. While I was searching, my parents supported me both financially and physically even when there was no end in sight. Please bring Gold Digger to my mother in Hillsboro, OH to repay her even a fraction of what she has given me.

Thank you,
Amy Petzold

Hi Ellen, I record your show everyday....I love to watch you dance. The reason I'd like for you to come to my house....I'm a single mother of 4 children. I have 3 children at home, 2 that are disabled. My son is 13 and has Chronic Asthma. He has had Asthma attacks very frequently. It's hard to know if I'll be able to keep my job because I have to take off so much when he's sick. When the weather changes, he has an attack. So it's been hard to stay on time with my bills due to me have to take off so much from work. I'd love to see ya come to Dayton, Ohio

Love ya Ellen

hi Ellen, you are too cool. I tbo you every day and you are such a kind caring person, it show just the way you act, and are so kind to people. Keep up the good work. I would love to be a gold digger in Ohio. I have not had a good year, I retired in Nove of 2007 after working for 30 years with the Developmentally disabled, whic I loved but working for the goverment is not easy, I miss my people but am glad to be able to retire. I worked part time at Wal-Mart as a cashier for 2 1/2s also. I continued to work there. In Jan of this year I fell on my front porch on ice on my way to Church no less, oh well he still is good to me lol Anywa torn up my knee really bad, Tore 5 tendons, Masdida, and Acl ouch surgury, Pt and wearing a brace with hinges on it so I can only move my knee 40% and that means that I can not drive my dream car which I bought befor I retired whic is a PT Cruised 5 speed Convertible, so will probablr have to sell, on top of that My grandson left my door ajar, and the most senstive cat in the world which was a rescue cat I got 5 yesrs ago snuck of, the westher was 7 degrees, I have not found him, and I cry all the time I loved him so much. I cooked chicken for him, and bacon, he begged like a dog, and I think he thought he was one, I am totally lost without him and looed for him called shelter and put up signs, Its awful but I thought if I could possoble do the gold digger, I might be able to enjoy myself some, but if not I trully love watching you and your show, and am so blessed to be able to do what I do. Hope your life keeps going your way for you. I watch you with your MOM and can tell how mush you love and enjoy her, I miss my MOM so much and really love to see someone really loving their parents Diane Peck

Hey Ellen!!!
I would love it if you would give my mother to opportunity to play Gold Digger on your show!
She is a working mother of four children. Two of us are in college, one is in middle school and one is elementary school. Both my mother and my father work full time but it still isn't enough to pay off the $40,000s that it took in order to send me to rehab. They had to use my entire college fund, take out another mortgage on the house, use up their retirement fund and borrow money from my 12 year old sister in order to help me recover. She's an amazing mom who loves to be involved in our lives but finds that she is almost always at work. It would be a huge help if Gold Digger went to her house and helped her and my father get back on their financial feet. I'm also hoping that if the loans and bills get paid off, my younger brother and sister will have a better future because of it!!!

Thank you sooo much for your consideration!!
I hope you pick my mom!!

Hi Ellen!
I think that you should bring Gold Digger to Canada!! We too are going through the recession and could use all the help we can! We are a newly married couple, trying to buy a house and start a family of our own. We are having some financial problems and thus have to put off starting our life together for even longer. Just a thought that if you want to help everyone, why stick within boarders?? Help everyone! Even us in the cold North!

Ellen, I love your show, I'd love a chance to play gold digger. My husband and I are expecting our first on Mother's Day! My husband is in the United States Army, bills are already tight and adding in a child is both exciting and scary for our pocket book. We're trying to purchase a car for myself because he works a lot, it's hard to be a one car family with a child while he is always gone. My husband was in the O.I.F 10-06 to 12-07.

Please remember me for your consideration for us to play gold digger!!

I Wouldn't Be Disappointed If You Picked My Family!!! ;)

Thank You!!!!!!

Hey Ellen!

So I was just watching your show tonight and saw the gold digger game. I want to tell you why I should play the gold digger game. I am a college student and have been dreaming of being a teacher for a very long time. However, with the prices of school and rent and just the basic living expenses it is getting harder and harder to make ends meet. I have even considered quitting school becuase I can't afford to attend anymore. On top of all of that I recently got engaged to the most wonderful man. Like most girls, they dream of their dream wedding and have it pictured in their mind, however, I have no idea how I will even be able to afford a wedding. My parents and my Fiance's parents plan on helping, but their are more expenses than what they can afford to help with. I also have a car that is dying and my finace doesn't have a car. So with all fingers crossed, I am praying that it holds up until I can make enough money working this summer while off of school. Tuition is going up and financial aid is getting less and less so going to school and living in an apartment and getting by with the absolute basics is a struggle.

I love watching your show, it adds such a laugh in my day. Thanks for all of the humor and also for helping so many people! Please consider coming to Wisconsin and helping me get a jump on so many of my dreams!! Thanks Ellen!! :)

Hi Ellen!!! Your show just ended on my TV and once again I am in tears from watching the gold digger segment. I always start laughing but by the end I am overwhelmed by the excitement and pure joy. You are such an amazing person that has helped so many people. You give your love to everyone around you which is what I think others in the world should do more often. You and your show have inspired me to share my love and happiness with others, and I know that I have influenced so many people to do the same. It’s contagious, and I love and live by that. One of the families that I have tried to give my love to is that of boyfriend’s. His mom, sister, and two year old nephew live happily together in a tiny house. I have known them for more than five years, and it has been rough for both them and us. I love them so much. They are such wonderful and humble family, that even in the toughest of times are willing to give their hearts to others. My boyfriend and I have rescued them from abuse, foreclosure, unemployment, emotional crisis and have sacrificed ourselves, our time, and our money numerous times over to lessen their stress and anxiety when it comes to all of life’s tribulations. In those rough times, you have always been there to cheer me up and encourage me keep giving myself to them. This is one more effort to give ourselves (myself and my boyfriend) to them. Last December his mom and sister were laid off along with the other millions of American’s. They both have earned certifications to gain better jobs, but have yet to be employed. In fact last weekend we attended his sister’s dental assistant graduation. Her son was so excited to see his mommy on stage. He was the loudest one there.  We have helped them to apply for federal and local aid and they have received enough to help them get by. My boyfriend works fulltime, and I go to school and work, and we have been continuously providing them with financial, physical, and emotional support as well as encouragement to get through this tough time. Our weekends are spent filling out financial aid applications, checking on employment with them, installing or fixing whatever needs to be around the house, babysitting for them so that they can go for interviews, going through things to sell for resale, and most often just talking to them and giving hugs for encouragement. I don’t think I need to say anymore, I love them to death, and if love was money, we’d both be rich. Unfortunately, that is not the case, but somehow, love still makes a difference. Thank you for reading my story as well as everyone else’s on here. Just to know that someone is thinking and praying for us all, is enough. I love you so much Ellen. Thank you for keeping my spirits up.

Hey Ellen!! I recently discovered the word Irie. It means to be at peace with your surroundings and accept your world, so I do, but I am having a hard time making any payments. I was on disability for 2 months this year, and see a doctor usually a few times a week. They arn't really sure what is going on with severe migraines, passing out, blacking out, and dizziness, so I just keep going to doctors and paying more and more bills, but can only work part time because of medical issues. Therefore, all of my bills are either late or not getting paid. Just a hard time I'm tryin to get thru. We all get there. Be Irie. Right!

Love you Ellen!!!!! Btw I don't get twitter...haha :)

Hi Ellen,
I watch your show because of the love you have for life, yourself and the audiences. You love making people do belly laughs (myself included though you don't know me-wonder why) and love seeing people have fun doing plain simple, downright stupid things. I love it!
I am wrting a book along with several authors from across the country. Our intention is to help people see how they can thrive during this time period with the techniques, tips and advice there is through "the pen". One or two of our writers have beautiful articles to share but being out of work and husbands out of work at the same time, cannot contribute monetarily for the printing of it and feel badly because they want to. Each author has to agreed to contribute $200 in order to print 500 copies which won't get to too many Americans. We'd like to print a lot more and get to thousands, millions more. The book is an ASOT Product, entitled Americans Saving Ourselves Together: Handbook on How to Thrive in the 21st Century. This is a self-less act that I am very honored and proud to be a part of. We are looking for a July 4th freedom date release. We'd love to have you help us share the "wealth" of knowledge with your "Stimulus Package" and be there at our release party.

With my Love & Devotion to all you do to make America Laugh,
Author, Daya Devi-Doolin
