Hi Ellen,

You talk so much about your dreams and goals such as George watch 08, George is mine in 09 and ur efforts to get on O mag by stopping at nothing to get there. So Im taking ur advice and hoping to get a job on the Ellen show, so can you hook me up? Im hardest working, most determined, work aholic person I know, who has a great sense of humor.

I still think Andy needs a wardrobe makeover, with atleast another out fit.

Pls pls write me back

Hey,

I think that is awesome, that some students from lil ol' NZ make it on the Ellen DeGeneres show! As Ellen said, it takes a month for the show to be on air here in New Zealand, so these guys will get to re-live this once it is on air here!

Of course I would love to g to the Ellen show also, but I'm not going to leave a sob story on here, like some people, and I will just have to work my hardest to make it over to America and one day, maybe even make it to the show!

Oh, and for the person who didn't know where NZ is, it is below Australia, slightly to the East of there, and above Antarctica. So, ages away from America basically lol.

Lauren :-)

hey ellen, my name is courtney. I am 25 and i live in saginaw, mi. Just wanted to let u know that u r simply amazing. My mother and i never miss ur show. We wish we could see u on qvc also, but if u havent heard we r in a reccesion and cable service is just an extra bill. Hey rabbit ears do the trick just fine. My mom and i live togetherand unfortunatly I lost my job (and the only income we had) a couple months back. The paycheck i was earning went to make sure our 3 adorable dogs, and we, had what we all needed to get by. Money was tight but we did it . Unfortunatly now with out my paycheck we have had to sell mostly everything we owened. But at least we have each other and your show to make us laugh. U should send the gold digger machine my way. Thankyou so much for the much needed inspiration u give so many people every day. courtney

I love your show Ellen! I tape your show so that I can watch it at night after work. It is so moving how you help so many people that need assistance. I love to see the persons) scream for joy when they find out that they are getting something. All I can say Ellen is BRAVO!!! You are a good person.

I would like to send you an email about my daughter, Ellen. She loves your show too. We watch your show together when she comes over. My job was recently eliminated, but I'm not really worried about me. I can make it.

My daughter, Melanie, worked at a hospital with her husband just a few short years ago. Just after they were married about five months, he was coming to work one morning on his motorcycle and a car pulled out and hit him. He is now a below the knee amputee (right leg). Melanie and he worked in the same department at the hospital and this was devastating to them! At that time, John had not carried any insurance before because he couldn't afford it. Since he and Melanie had just been married a short time, he had not had an enrollment time to sign up as yet. If it wasn't for his motorcycle insurance, I don't know how they would have paid their hospital bills after his accident.

Melanie quit work to take care of John. So, they both were off for over a year. It took a long time for this kind of injury to heal. It took John a long time to finally get back to work because then he was using his wheel chair a lot.

Melanie found one position and worked a while, and now she's at home again. John is working at a different place now, but Melanie has been looking for a job for over a year now without success.

Ellen, I think they could use a boost. They are a good couple and it is such a shame that they had to suffer such a tradedy like this after they were first married.

Thanks for taking time to listen and share with me. I love your show and you Ellen!

Signed,
A very loving Mom and Mother-in-law, Susan Jane Gracia
