Plenty of fans were shocked and saddened to see 21-year-old Memphis native Alexis Grace get voted off of "American Idol" last week. The petite blonde was herself surprised that her rendition of "Jolene" wasn't quite enough to carry her through to the next round. On a positive note, Alexis' elimination did give her the chance to chat with Ellen and perform live for her studio audience!

I was shocked to see Alexis Grace eliminated so soon. I hope a record company picks her up and works with her. Great little entertainer with much talent and more to be developed.
