Ellen's Message from Oprah!

Ellen's campaign to get on the cover of "O" magazine hit a slight snag when she was put on hold at Harpo publications... for 11 minutes! However, when Oprah heard of the misstep, she sent Ellen an apology -- along with 500 cupcakes for the entire audience!

u deserve to be on the cover of O magazine and I feel that Oprah knows that and she is just sweetining u up so that u won't be charging a photo fee, appearance cost or % of sales of the magazine sales. So heads up... she will call just be firm and say that u have to call ur agent Dal to negotiate the terms. U are awesome keep it up...we all love u .

Where o' where are the cupcakes from? I live in Chicago, and love me a good cupcake! My favorite are Sprinkles, but of course they are located in L.A. and Chicago doesen't have a Sprinkles yet! So did she send them from Chicago? If so, what bakery? I think I know them all! Or did Oprah just phone Sprinkles and have them delivered to your studio? I need to know!!

Ellen...I love you!! I'm a huge fan!!

Ellen,

Oprah just told America last Friday that she's sharing the cover with Michelle Obama. I think this could be the new trend, she could share the cover once or twice a year. I agree you should be on the cover with Oprah next.

Hi Ellen!

You don't need OPRAH!! You are great on your own...I saw her latest cover on ET yesterday and she had Michelle Obama on her cover with her! What's that about?? I wouldn't want second best with her!! Reminds me of "The Bachelor!" Ugh...

Hey Ellen that was so sweet of Oprah to send you a message and cupcakes. Instead of trying to get your picture on the "O" magazine, I say if you can't be on the cover of "O" why not start your own magazine and have Oprah on your cover???? LOL.
It is time for you to look outside the box for a huge opportunity to share world wide things about you like love for pets, dog food line, jokes, little things like that. I would definately subscribe. Thank you, love your show, Beth

I have been hearing how much you want to be on the cover of O magazine and how it will be hard because Oprah is usually the only one. I just saw Oprah and Michelle Obama on the cover. What gives? If Michelle can be on there I think you have every right to be as well. No playing favorites, Oprah.

Ellen!!

Just got home. I went and got groceries and gas! (fuel for the 'ole automoe-bile!) Normally when I come home I see my neighbors kitty sitting in its tower in front of the window taking a nap.. all curled up in a ball where you don't know where its head is!!! I miss that kitty when its not there. So I thought.. where is that kitty in the window.. then I thought of that song... "How Much is That Doggy in the Window" and that's all I know!!! So then I thought... I wonder if I should send that tape of me singing "How Much is That Doggy in the Window" in your bathroom concert series!!! LOL You said.. any song!!! I thought of 99 bottles of beer on the wall too! But that might take a long time! :) (heee) or how 'bout that song "The Aunts go Marching one by one Hoorah Hoorah!" Thats fun to sing when you go hiking! The bears are in the woods saying.. "Their singing the aunts go marching on song again!!! Our FAVORITE!!!!.. listen:--- and all the bears are sitting with their ears propped tapping their feet to the beat!"

I'll be back Ellen.. have to put my groceries away... and then I'll be back later say this afternoon sometime!

Hi Joan,
You are 100% right! I don't know why she does not want to do it!
She could start it inconjunction with her "Halo", writing everything about cats and dogs and all creatures on this planet earth! She can easily acqure lots of writers doing it and she can have an editor column of her own and on all the issues she can be the cover girl with each different animals or so, in the run she can include the celebrities that she interviewed and her shows' sectmens too!
Portia can write about horses and include her line of shoes in Ellen's magazines and can be a co-editor after all she did have 2 years of college and beginning in a grammar school and Melborne Varsity she will be able to handle the magazine if Ellen is too busy!
I am very sure it will be a great success. She should act on it right away!
Draw up a business plan and do the primary and get set and go!
This project will be good for her even after she retires in 10 years from the talk show and begin her farm, by then she and Portia will have so much knowledge on hand to have a farm taking care of animals for the book sales will cover it. It can be done with the new technology. I will only talk about it if she really intends to do it! Her staff can join her too. She must start it before Oprah pinch this idea!
By the way, drinking too much dulls the brain for it kills brain cells!

I just started a group on Facebook called "Help Ellen Degeneres get on the cover of the Oprah Magazine" I started on the weekend and I have now over 100 members, I know lots of us want to see you and Oprah on the cover of her magazine, so feel supported by your fans! Yes you can!!!
