Ellen's Message from Oprah!

Ellen's campaign to get on the cover of "O" magazine hit a slight snag when she was put on hold at Harpo publications... for 11 minutes! However, when Oprah heard of the misstep, she sent Ellen an apology -- along with 500 cupcakes for the entire audience!

ELLEN YOU MUST BE TIRED OF PEOPLE ASKING FOR HELP OR FAVORS, BUT THIS IS SO IMPORTANT FOR ME THAT I HAVE TO SHARE IT WITH YOU!! I HAVEN'T SEE MY FAMILY FOR 6 YEARS!!! I MOVED UP TO THE USA FROM BRAZIL TO GET MARRIED TO THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, BUT I HAVE TO LIVE MY HOLE LIFE AN FAMILY BEHIND!!! WE NOW HAVE 2 KIDS AND WE HAVE SO MUCH GOING ON WITH OUR FINANCES, WITH THIS ECONOMY MAKES EVEN MORE IMPOSSIBLE THIS DREAM COME TRUE!!! THAT'S THE TRUE: IS IMPOSSIBLE TO US GOING BACK TO MY COUNTRY TO MEET MY FAMILY AFTER ALL THIS YEARS AND PROBABLY WILL BE FOR A FEW MORE YEARS, PLEASE HELP US GO BACK THERE... WE LOVE SO MUCH AND I THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME LEARN ENGLISH WATCHING YOUR SHOW!! MY DAYS UP HEAR IN THE BEGGING WORE SO HARD, CAUSE I DIDN'T SPOKE THE LANGUAGE AND MISSING MY FAMILY, BUT YOU MADE ME SMILE WITH YOUR WAY TO BE... THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU!!!

I live in south africa and I wish you could come here and help me start up a show just like yours giving and bringing joy to our people just like you do. I want to host the show and make South africans wake up to a show that is crazylicious fun like yours. HI ELLEN, WELL TODAY I WAS VERY UPSET WITH YOU. YOU TELL US TO ENTER YOUR 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS CONTEST AND I WAS DENIED BECAUSE I LIVE IN CANADA.
I WATCH YOUR SHOW EVERYDAY AND I WENT OUT AND BOUGHT THE COPY OF O MAGAZINE BECAUSE YOU WERE IN IT. Hi Ellen, you are the one show I look forward to watching every day after all is said and done. You are awesome you touch so many people and lives, especially at a time when everything around many of us seems to be going haywirer.....

my name is ashley and im 12 years old i wish i could win some tickets for my nana and grandpaand mom because my great grandpa is 82 years old and he has gone to the hospital 5 times between october and november. i just wish it he could go before he actually goes. we all love ur show we watch it everyday. love you ellen also nice dance moves hope ur back gets better

Good things keep happening to Ellen. Is it just me or is Oprah getting huge again? I heard on Face book that Ellen did not want to help the homeless. I hope this is not true. We are the people that have put Ellen and Oprah on the top. Love to hear more about Rev. Trey Noran with Real Men Love 2 Cuddle. They are right here in Denver and raising money to build a homeless Hotel. Reverend, forget Ellen ask the Major of Denver to spread the word. Sometimes star power is not worth it. Ellen is set for life and we know Oprah made more bucks on us than she knows what to do with. What a society we live in?

We, my daugher(6) and I watch your SHOW every day here in South Africa.Its shows early in the morning but as clockwise when the music starts everybody knows its ellen time for dancing and having fun.

I was just thinking of an idea for your cover on "O". I think you should have a big tree with all the ornanments with Oprahs face on them and then a BIG STAR with your face!! JUst an idea.I love your show. Muhhh

Hi Ellen! I know you can be on the cover of O Magazine! I think this is a great idea. I will send my letter to Harpo! My Brother and I came to your show today. We both think that you should sponsor a different charity each month. It could be up to each audience member as to what they can or want to give. Think about all of the money you could raise for a different cause each month--that is the least everyone can do for a ticket to your show! Thanks for being so fun! We had a blast!

This message is actually for Veronica Vasquez... I was just reading the comments and wanted to let you know that the cupcakes are from William-Sonoma, you can order them on-line. It is funny, because I have had a craving for a "good cupcake" for about a year now and the other day (ironically before Oprah sent them) I remembered that Oprah raves about these cupcakes, so I thought (Feb. was a difficult month for me) I am going to order the cupcakes and see how good these are, no matter the cost - well, about $80- later for 9 cupcakes... today they finally came!!! I thought and felt I deserve to treat myself as a celebrity would and splurge - so as I said they came today and they were sent/packaged with dry ice, they have to be left out for 1 to 2 hours before eating (best at room temp) so I have yet to try them, but just so that you know they are exactly what Oprah sent to Ellen - imagine what 500 cost!!! Order some, you deserve it too :)
btw: you order from W.Sonoma, but a bakery in Napa Valley actually makes them by scratch - Perfect Endings is what the bakery is called. Wasn't sure that you got the info so I thought I would try to get it to you.

Hey Ellen,your show is hilarious.Getting on the cover of "O" is a good idea.But I think you should publish your own magazine too along with your own clothing,etc line.You always look so comfortable and neat.Just think about it alright.Love to watch your show and see you dance.I go out dancing alot myself.

I love your show ellen I am sending my letter out today to Oprah! You are so good to everyone and you are so down to earth I love your personality no disrespect to Johhny Carson he was a great man but your show will outlive his and that says alot. Keep your attitude the way it is you are going far and you will be on the cover of O. Sending my letter to her now.
